The aim of JIEMAR ( Journal of Industrial Engineering & Management Research is to publish theoretical and empirical articles that are aimed to contrast and extend existing theories, and build new theories that contribute to advance our understanding of phenomena related with industrial engineering and industrial management in organizations, from the perspectives of Production Planning/Scheduling/Inventory, Logistics/Supply Chain, Quality Management, Operations Management and Operational Research. The contributions can adopt confirmatory (quantitative) or explanatory (mainly qualitative) methodological approaches. Theoretical essays that enhance the building or extension of theoretical approaches are also welcome. JIEMAR selects the articles to be published with a double bind, peer review system, following the practices of good scholarly journals. JIEMAR is published monthly (on-line versions), following an open access policy. On-line publication allows to reduce publishing costs, and to make more agile the process of reviewing and edition. JIEMAR defends that open access publishing fosters the advance of scientific knowledge, making it available to everyone. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of political and legal aspects in the governance of mineral and coal resources on the vulnerability of environmental conservation. Mineral and coal mining is a crucial sector in the global economy, but it also has serious impacts on the environment. Political and legal factors have a significant role in regulating these industrial practices. This research uses an interdisciplinary approach to analyze environmental vulnerabilities resulting from the governance of mineral and coal resources, with a focus on existing regulatory frameworks and political policies. We conducted a comprehensive review of the laws governing this sector and analyzed the extent to which these regulations can mitigate negative impacts on the environment. The research results show that the vulnerability of environmental conservation in the governance of mineral and coal resources is strongly influenced by political policies and the legal framework in place There is. Policies that are less stringent or weakly implemented can increase the risk of environmental damage. Therefore, this research provides recommendations for improving legal and policy frameworks that are more sustainable and environmentally friendly in the governance of the mineral and coal sectors. This research is expected to provide important insights to policy makers, industry stakeholders and the general public about the importance of integrating environmental aspects in mineral and coal resource management policies, as well as encouraging positive changes in environmental conservation efforts in this sector.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan perilaku kewargaan organisasi, komitmen organisasi, budaya organisasi dan motivasi kerja pegawai BUMD Untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh budaya organisasi dan motivasi kerja terhadap perilaku kewargaan organisasi karyawan melalui komitmen organisasional. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 230 orang menggunakan simple random sampling Teknik analisis data menggunakan Path Analysis SEM dengan Smart-PLS. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa budaya organisasi, motivasi kerja, komitmen organisasi dan perilaku kewargaan organisasi BUMD. Budaya organisasi dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi. Budaya organisasi dan komitmen organisasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku anggota organisasi. Motivasi kerja tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku kewargaan organisasi karyawan. Budaya organisasi dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku kewargaan organisasi karyawan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan LMX, Employee Engagement dan OCB di BUMD . Untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh LMX terhadap Employee Engagement, pengaruh Employee Engagement terhadap OCB, pengaruh LMX terhadap OCB, dan pengaruh LMX terhadap OCB melalui Employee Engagement di BUMD Jenis penelitian ini adalah explanatory dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel ditentukan sebanyak 341 orang dengan teknik sampling Random Untuk melakukan analisis data menggunakan analisis jalur dengan Partial Least Square (PLS). Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa LMX berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Employee Engagement pada Dinas Perindustrian dan Tenaga Kerja Kabupaten Bojonegoro. Employee Engagement tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap OCB di BUMD. LMX berpengaruh signifikan terhadap OCB di BUMD. LMX berpengaruh signifikan terhadap OCB melalui Employee Engagement di BUMD

Abstract

Industri kecil dan menengah memiliki peran penting dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi suatu negara. Namun, industri ini saat ini sedang menghadapi berbagai tantangan akibat perubahan lingkungan yang semakin kompetitif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan menjelaskan pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif, dan untuk mengetahui peran berbagi pengetahuan dalam hubungan antara kepemimpinan transformasional dan perilaku kerja inovatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh industri kecil dan menengah berorientasi ekspor yang berjumlah 54 Kemudian penentuan sampel menggunakan formulasi Krejcie dan Morgan sehingga total sampel adalah 42 industri. Responden penelitian dipilih dengan merekrut lima karyawan dari masing-masing industri sehingga jumlah responden yang berkontribusi sebanyak 210 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional dan berbagi pengetahuan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif. Namun, knowledge sharing tidak memoderasi pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif.

Abstract

Era new normal saat ini mencerminkan kondisi dimana kehidupan, termasuk dunia usaha, juga menghadapi tantangan dan kompleksitas yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan sebelumnya. Sebuah produk harus mampu beradaptasi dengan cepat terhadap perubahan dan menemukan cara baru dalam berinteraksi dengan konsumen yang semakin cerdas dan kritis. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk menguji besarnya pengaruh citra merek terhadap daya jual suatu produk. Penulisan jurnal ini menganut metodologi monometode yaitu pendekatan kualitatif. Dalam tulisan ini, kami menemukan bahwa citra merek memiliki pengaruh yang berbeda-beda terhadap daya jual suatu produk. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya bisa berasal dari produk berupa hasil akhir, proses produksi hingga input dari kegiatan produksi. Namun, dari sisi pelanggan lah yang paling sering dinilai pengaruhnya. Masuknya kebijakan dari regulator sedikit banyak akan mempengaruhi citra merek (branding image) terhadap daya jual produk.

Abstract

This research uses Max Weber's theory to investigate the role of bureaucracy and power structures in modern educational organizations. The main focus of this research is to determine how Weber's ideas of power and bureaucracy can be applied to modern educational institutions. The research method involves analyzing the literature on the related subjects of Max Weber's theory, bureaucracy, and power structures in contemporary education systems. This literature review included books, scientific journals, and conference papers. To support the research findings, the data collected was analyzed qualitatively. The study shows that Weber's bureaucratic principles, such as rational rules, division of tasks and hierarchy, are still relevant in modern educational organizations. However, their influence may vary depending on several things, such as flexibility, innovation and participation. Weber's theories of authority and control help to understand how power functions in modern educational institutions. Overall, this study provides a better understanding of Weber's theories in understanding bureaucratic dynamics as well as power in educational institutions; this can help the improvement and development of modern education systems.
