Abstract

A speed bump is a traffic calming device that is a raised portion of the road surface. Speed bumps are effective in reducing vehicle speed. The purpose of this research is to determine the reduction in vehicle speed at certain distances before crossing speed bumps on the roads within the main campus of Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP). This study was conducted at several points on the roads within the main campus of Universitas Negeri Padang where speed bumps are installed. The survey was carried out in July 2023, spanning 3 days, namely on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. The research conducted is quantitative research with a quantitative descriptive method. The data used in this study includes both primary and secondary data. The primary data consists of the speed of vehicles (cars and motorcycles) at distances of 4 meters, 8 meters, and 12 meters before the speed bumps, while the secondary data includes the map data showing the placement of the speed bumps on the roads within the main campus of Universitas Negeri Padang. The research results indicate that the average speed of vehicles passing over the speed bumps on the roads within the main campus of Universitas Negeri Padang experiences a decrease in speed.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the issue of not using modules in the technical drawing subject for Grade X in the Building Design and Information Modeling Vocational Competency at SMK Negeri 5 Padang. The aim of this research is to produce a valid and practical e-learning module product. The research method used is Research & Development (R&D) and follows the Decide, Design, Develop, and Evaluate (DDD-E) development model. Based on the research results, the percentages for material validity, media validity, and practicality tests are 95%, 86%, and 86%, respectively. The conclusion of this research is that the developed e-learning module is valid and practical for use in the technical drawing learning process for Grade X students in the Building Design and Information Modeling Vocational Competency at SMK Negeri 5 Padang.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the frequent occurrence of continuous puddles in a particular area, resulting in the loss of property, livestock, crops, and even human lives. One of the causes of this inundation is continuous rainfall in a specific location. Therefore, efforts must be made to address waterlogging. The purpose of this research is to assess the water infiltration capacity into the soil using an artificial infiltration tool. There are various methods used to facilitate water infiltration into the soil, one of which is the absorption well. This study is an experimental method that tests the performance of the rate of water infiltration using an artificial infiltration tool in laboratory testing at the Department of Civil Engineering's Building Materials and Soil Mechanics Laboratory, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Padang. The results of this test provide the rate of rainwater infiltration and rainwater infiltration capacity values from several soil embankments. The selected embankment soils were from the Lubuk Alung, Sungai Sariak, Duku Teluk Kabung quarries, and the Gunung Sarik quarry. Based on the conducted analysis, the highest rainwater infiltration capacity value was obtained from the embankment soil from the Sungai Sarik quarry, amounting to 0.8 mm/hour during the first rainfall and 1.3 mm/hour during post-rainfall, with a water infiltration volume of 150,000 m3/hour/km2.

Abstract

The focus of this study centers on the learning outcomes of Grade X DPIB students at SMKN 1 Bukittinggi influenced by the Two Stay Two Stray cooperative learning approach. Many teachers tend to prefer conventional teaching approaches that emphasize content delivery over direct interaction in basic DPIB subjects. This poses a challenge for students who are less active in the classroom learning process, as the lecture-based teaching method is not always easily understood by all students. To better achieve learning objectives, an innovative teaching approach is needed to encourage active student participation in the teaching-learning process. One proposed solution is the Two Stay Two Stray cooperative learning approach, where two students work together in discussion and two other students join them to support the learning process. This approach has the advantage of encouraging students to actively contribute to discussions, ask questions, and articulate and consolidate their understanding. To identify differences in the characteristics of the research subjects, a quasi-experimental method was employed. The research results obtained through the Mann Whitney statistical test showed an Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000. This value, less than 0.05, indicates that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) can be accepted. In other words, it can be concluded that there is a significant improvement in student learning achievement in the Basic DPIB subjects in Grade X at SMKN 1 Bukittinggi when the Two Stay Two Stray cooperative learning method is implemented.

Abstract

The "Merdeka" curriculum emphasizes aspects of student independence and courage in learning, as well as providing opportunities for teachers to develop teaching methods tailored to their students' needs. The purpose of this research is to determine the readiness level of teachers for implementing the "Merdeka" Curriculum in Grade X of Building Design and Information Modeling (DPIB) at SMK Negeri 5 Padang. This research used a quantitative descriptive method, with statistical analysis as the data analysis technique. A questionnaire with 19 statements was distributed to 14 respondents, including teachers teaching in the DPIB department and those teaching general subjects. After obtaining all the data, it was processed accordingly. The readiness level of teachers teaching in the DPIB department of Grade X at SMK Negeri 5 Padang falls into the "very ready" category. The readiness level of teachers for lesson planning is 85.35%, the readiness level for the "Merdeka" Curriculum in the learning process is 82.25%, both falling into the "very ready" category, and the readiness level of teachers for the implementation of the "Merdeka" Curriculum in the evaluation or assessment process is 85.43%, also falling into the "very ready" category.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI DPIB di SMK Dhuafa Padang pada mata pelajaran Estimasi Biaya Konstruksi tahun ajaran 2023/2024 dengan diberikan perlakuan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran tooperatif tipe STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division). Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan peneliti dalam penelitian ini yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian dilakukan 2 siklus dimana subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI DPIB SMK Dhuafa Padang tahun ajaran 2022/2023 dengan jumlah siswa 23 orang. Berdasarkan analisis data didapatkan peningkatan hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran Estimasi Biaya Konstruksi. Peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran STAD dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa pada siklus I dengan skor 52%,pada siklus II dengan 78%. Maka daripada itu siklus II persentase nilai rata-rata sudah tercapai. Untuk keaktifan juga mengalami peningkatan dimana pada siklus I skor 31% sedangkan siklus II naik 72% diliahat terjadi peningkatan 41%.

Abstract

Latar belakang permasalahan adalah data mahasiswa yang menyelesaikan skripsi pada setiap semesternya kurang dari 40%, sehingga rata-rata mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Padang tidak mampu menyelesaikan skripsi dalam 1 semester dan data tersebut akan berdampak pada akreditasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apa saja dan seberapa besar kendala penyelesaian skripsi mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Padang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, untuk teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan bantuan google form. Sampel penelitian menggunakan total sampling dengan total 84 responden lulusan mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Padang angkatan 2017-2018. Hasil dari penelitian ditinjau dari 2 aspek didapatkan kendala internal dengan nilai persentase 61% dengan kriteria setuju dan kendala eksternal dengan nilai persentase 56% dengan kriteria kurang setuju. Kendala internal terbesar adalah kendala dalam manajemen waktu untuk Peraktek Lapangan Industri, Peraktek Lapangan Kependidikan, Kuliah Kerja Nyata, dan menulis skripsi dengan nilai persentase 74% dan Kendala eksternal terbesar adalah kendala mencari referensi terbaru yang sesuai dengan topik skripsi karena tidak tersedia di ruang baca Departemen Teknik Sipil Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Padang dengan nilai persentase 71%.

Abstract

Arien Jonika Ramadhanus, 2023 : The Relationship between Study Habits during the Covid 19 Pandemic and Learning Outcomes in the Technical Drawing Subject of Class X Students of SMKN 1 Koto XI Tarusan Education is very important for human life. Humans need education in order to continue their lives, therefore every human being has the right to education. A high level of education will produce quality human resources, so as to achieve the goal of education itself, namely to form Indonesian people who have better personalities. This survey research was conducted by distributing questionnaires offline. The research was conducted on students of Engineering Drawing subject class X for the 2020-2022 Academic Year, SMKN 1 Koto XI Tarusan. West Sumatra Province, Pesisir Selatan District, Koto XI Tarusan District. The research sample was taken as many as 52 students of Class X SMKN 1 Koto XI Tarusan. The results of the study showed that there was a relationship between study habits and student learning outcomes in Engineering Drawing class X for the 2020- 2022 Academic Year, SMKN 1 Koto XI Tarusan. the higher the student's study habits, the better the learning outcomes and vice versa students who have low study habits will also get low learning outcomes. Study habits are behaviors that are repeated and become a characteristic of a person in carrying out learning tasks both at school and at home.

Abstract

Abstrak: Gedung Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Padang Pariaman memiliki berbagai risiko kebakaran mulai dari mengalami korsleting listrik, penggunaan barang-barang yang mudah terbakar, penggunaan genset dengan bahan bakar solar, serta belum pernah dilakukan pengecekan atau evaluasi terhadap sarana proteksi kebakaran yang ada. Evaluasi terhadap fasilitas perlindungan kebakaran dari berbagai aspek sangat penting dalam rangka memastikan keamanan bangunan. Maksud dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan analisis risiko kebakaran ditinjau dari sistem proteksi kebakaran pada gedung tersebut. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi lapangan dan wawancara dengan pengelola gedung, staf dan teknisi kantor Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Untuk mendapatkan penilaian risiko dari tingkat kemungkinan dan tingkat keparahan, dilakukan analisis data dengan menggunakan matriks risiko menurut panduan AS/NZS 4360:2004 tentang Risk Management. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kesesuaian keseluruhan sistem proteksi kebakaran dari 65 elemen persyaratan berdasarkan PERDA Kabupaten Padang Pariaman No 2 Tahun 2017, PerMen PU No. 26/PRT/M/2008 dan Pd- T-11-2005-C adalah sebanyak 51 (81%) sudah sesuai dengan standar dan sisanya 14 (19%) tidak memenuhi standar. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem proteksi kebakaran kantor Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Padang Pariaman secara keseluruhan belum memadai. Tingkat risiko meluasnya kebakaran yang disebabkan oleh ketidaksesuaian sistem proteksi kebakaran tergolong kategori tinggi, dengan kondisi tingkat kemungkinan dan tingkat keparahan dalam kategori moderate.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya kebosanan belajar siswa, penggunaan bahan ajar belum optimal, interaksi belajar yang belum maksimal dan rendahnya hasil belajar yang di peroleh selama pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk membuat suatu media pembelajaran visual tiga dimensi yang valid dan praktis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan Four-D (4D). Adapun tahap pengembangan 4D yaitu, 1) Define, 2) Design, 3) Development dan 4) Disseminate. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan bahwa didapatkan penilaian dari ahli materi 1 sebesar 94% dengan katagori sangat valid dan penilaian untuk validator materi 2 sebesar 94% dengan katagori sangat valid, yang terakhir validasi media dengan validator ahli media didapatkan penilaian 83% dengan katagori sangat valid.selain itu penelitian ini mengujikan ke praktikalitas kepada siswa SMK N 1 Padang dengan penilaian 82% yang dikatogorikan sangat praktis.
