Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of Brand Image and Excellent Service in Indomaret minimarkets on Purchasing Decisions with Innovation as a mediator during the pandemic. This research uses the Structural Equation Modeling method. SEM allows the analysis of a series of relationships simultaneously, provides flexibility in assumptions, and allows the testing of models with many dependent variables. The sampling method used was convenience sampling, involving 252 respondents. The results of the analysis show that Brand Image has a positive and significant influence on Innovation and Purchasing Decisions at Indomaret. Excellent Service also has a positive and significant influence on Innovation but does not have a direct significant influence on Purchasing Decisions. Innovation has a positive and significant influence on Purchasing Decisions. This research concludes that Brand Image has an important role in influencing Innovation and Purchasing Decisions at Indomaret. Excellent Service influences Innovation but does not directly influence Purchasing Decisions. Innovation has a significant role in influencing Purchasing Decisions. Therefore, companies need to maintain and strengthen a positive brand image, continue to improve service quality, and innovate to remain competitive in the market, especially in a pandemic situation.

Abstract

This study aims to predict the value of oil and gas export prices in Indonesia using exponential smoothing. Exponential smoothing was applied because the data analysis revealed that the data consisted of trends and seasonal components. This study uses secondary data obtained from the website of the Central Bureau of Statistics of the Republic of Indonesia, covering the value of oil and gas exports in Indonesia every month from January 2010 to March 2022. The study obtained the exponential smoothing parameters, including α = 0.5153984, β = 0.06410119, and g = 0.7137603, with a seasonal length of L = 12. The forecast for the next five periods in millions of US$: April 2022 (1111.765), May 2022 (1250.465), June 2022 (1405.016), July 2022 (1447.510), and August 2022 (1452.984).

Abstract

This study aims to utilize the ARIMA method to predict the value of Indonesia's oil and gas exports. As quantitative research, it employs secondary data sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics of the Republic of Indonesia's website. The data spans January 2010 to March 2022 and are presented on a monthly basis. Through the results and discussion, three ARIMA models were established, namely ARIMA (1,1,0), ARIMA (0,1,1), and ARIMA (1,1,1). Among these models, the ARIMA (0,1,1) model with an AIC value of 2047.65 was found to be the most suitable for forecasting Indonesia's oil and gas exports. The forecasted values for the next five periods were 1254.124 (April 2022), 1309.678 (May 2022), 1289.236 (June 2022), 1296.758 (July 2022), and 1293.990 (August 2022).

Abstract

The solution of environmental problems is to use environmentally friendly products. This research uses the theory of planned behaviour, norm activation model, and moral norm as mediating variables to test consumers' interest in purchasing electric motorcycle. Data collected from 157 respondents who are the millennial generation and analyse with SmartPLS 3.0. Based on research findings, environmental concern has a significant effect on perceived behavioural control, green purchase attitude, and green purchase intention. Perceived behavioural control has a significant effect on green purchase attitude. Moral norms and green purchase attitude do not have a significant effect on green purchase intention. Then moral norms cannot mediate between subjective norms and green purchase intention. Research findings explain that environmental factors are the determining factor for someone to adopt an electric motorcycle.

Abstract

A high turn over rate is an indicator for a company to implement a strategy to retain employees. From the literature study, it was found that one of the efforts to retain employees is through compensation strategies. Compensation can be used as an attraction to attract prospective employees with high qualifications and retain high performing employees. The role of state university hospitals (RSPTN) as places for education, research and integrated health services in the fields of medical and/or dental education, continuing education and other health education in a multi-professional manner cannot be separated from the role of existing health workers. This research is to look for components that can be taken into account as remuneration components to obtain a remuneration model for health workers at RSPTN.

Abstract

The rapid growth of electronic marketplaces in Indonesia, coupled with government encouragement for businesses, necessitates a thorough understanding of sellers' adoption factors. This study investigates the influences on e-marketplace application adoption among active Indonesian sellers, incorporating gender, age, and experience as moderating variables. Employing SMARTPLS4 and PLS SEM analysis, the research identifies significant impacts of effort expectancy, performance expectancy, and price value on e-marketplace selling behavior. Contrarily, facilitating conditions and social influence show no effect. Age moderation significantly influences effort expectancy and price value, emphasizing the importance of tailored strategies for different age groups. Gender and experience, however, do not significantly moderate the results. Sellers' expectations emphasize the need for stakeholders to ensure fairness in online transactions, urging the government to establish appropriate e-marketplace regulations, aligning with sellers' needs for a thriving digital marketplace ecosystem.

Abstract

The significance of conducting this study lies in its pressing relevance to PT Bali Busana Kreasi, aiming to address turnover intention issues and foster a more productive and fulfilling work environment for its employees. The study's core objective is to scrutinize the impact of compensation and work-life balance on turnover intention, with employee engagement serving as a mediating factor. This research employs a quantitative research approach and is conducted at PT Bali Busana Kreasi, situated on Jl Raya Anggi Elok. The data sources encompass both primary and secondary data, with the entire workforce of 162 employees representing the research population. Simple random sampling, employing the Slovin formula, is employed to select 116 samples. The data is analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling. The outcomes of hypothesis testing indicate the following key findings: 1) Compensation exhibits a significant negative influence on turnover. 2) Work-life balance demonstrates a significant negative impact on turnover intention. 3) Compensation positively and significantly affects employee engagement. 4) Work-life balance significantly promotes employee engagement. 5) Employee engagement significantly diminishes turnover intention. 6) compensation mediated by employee engagement on turnover intention has a significant negative effect. 7) there is a significant negative relationship between work-life balance through employee engagement and intention to leave.

Abstract

Level of inventory plays a crucial role in managing the supply chain in a company, one of which is Aircraft Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) Company. This paper will analyze the material inventory in one of Indonesia’s aircraft MRO companies by categorizing the material and focus on finding the root causes of the high inventory level. ABC Analysis using multiple criteria will be used to categorize the aircraft spare parts inventory. The categories will then be used as the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) topic to gain and determine several root causes of the phenomena. FGD results will then be further analysed using Interpretative Structural Matrix (ISM) to see if there are some interrelationships between root causes. The high inventory level of aircraft spare parts inventory root causes will be specifically determined by analyzing the A category of ABC Classification as this category represents 70% of the inventory. Based on the analysis, it is recommended to solve the root causes extracted from the ISM first to lower the inventory level. This study will be useful for managers to determine the strategy to make the inventory lower impacting on the increase of company’s profit increase.
