Abstract

The aim of this research is to conduct an evaluation of probity audit on fraud prevention influence in government procurement of goods services. This type of research is quantitative research. The amples involving 84 respondents. The research data sources were primary data and secondary data. Primary data sourced from a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. In this research, the researchers used the SEM-PLS (partial least squares path modeling) method. There are several factors that support and hinder the effectiveness of implementing probity audits in the procurement of goods and services with current conditions within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Inspectorate. The supporting factors include the available implementation budget, experienced and capable human resources in conducting probity audits, as well as availability of supporting equipment that can be adequate for carrying out a probability audit.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Investment, Inflation, and Productive Zakat on the Welfare of the Community in Medan City. The research employed a quantitative method using Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) regression. Secondary data from BPS, BAZNAZ National, and PNM Medan for the period 2018-2023 were utilized. Data analysis involved multiple linear regression models supported by classic assumption tests, conducted using Eviews version 12. The results indicate that investment and productive zakat have a positive and significant influence on the welfare of the community in Medan City from 2018 to 2023. However, inflation negatively and significantly affects community welfare during the same period. Future research should consider integrating other economic factors such as per capita income, income distribution, and social inequality.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of cultural factors, social factors, and personal factors on cloth diaper purchasing decisions. The study employs a quantitative methodology. The population of this study is mothers in the Medan city area. The study sample consists of mothers who have purchased and used cloth diapers on their children in Medan, with a total sample size of 100. The purposive sampling technique, is employed to get data from sample. Data collection is conducted using questionnaires. Statistical data analysis is performed using validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests, multicollinearity tests, heteroscedasticity tests, multiple regression analysis, coefficient of determination (R2), F tests, and T tests. The study findings indicate that cultural factors (X1) do not have a significant influence on purchasing decisions (Y). Social factors (X2) have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions (Y), and personal factors (X3) have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions (Y). Simultaneously, cultural factors (X1), social factors (X2), and personal factors (X3) have a significant combined influence on purchasing decisions (Y). Future research can be carried out involving a larger and more diverse sample, using more complex analysis techniques to obtain more generalizable results and can dig deeper into the factors and add specific factors that might influence the decision to purchase cloth diapers in the city of Medan or other regions in Indonesia.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the shrimp farming industry in Gebang District by analyzing internal and external factors affecting the business, proposing strategies for development, and evaluating the economic welfare of shrimp farmers. Employing a descriptive research methodology with a quantitative approach, data were collected through interviews and questionnaires. Informants were selected using purposive sampling, a non-probability technique, with five informants chosen based on specific criteria. Data analysis utilized the SWOT technique. Findings reveal that the IFAS matrix score is 3.77 and the EFAS matrix score is 4.13. These scores indicate that the shrimp farming industry in Gebang District is best suited to an SO (Growth-Oriented) strategy. This involves optimizing the use of extensive and strategic land to maximize profits, developing and training human resources to enhance farmers' knowledge, and improving facilities and infrastructure to boost production quality and, consequently, selling prices.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence and relationship between five variables, namely price, promotion, product quality on purchasing decisions through recommendations. This type of research is quantitative research. This research was conducted at the QIUQIUNIAN Boba Beverage Company. Sampling used the non-probably sampling method with a remote sampling technique of 100 respondents. Data obtained by distributing questionnaires was then analyzed using multiple linear regression tests and hypothesis testing using SPSS IBM version 22. Based on the research results it can be concluded that: Price has a significant effect on recommendations, Promotion has a significant effect on recommendations, Product quality has no significant effect on recommendations, Purchasing decisions have a significant effect on recommendations.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to evaluate the performance of the supply chain at PT. Asia Palem Lestari uses the Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) method and analyzes the problems occurring within the company. The objective of this research is to enhance the company's performance by providing solutions to the identified problems. The research employs a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection involves interviews, observations to understand supply chain activities, and documentation to obtain secondary data from the company. The results of the supply chain performance calculation are derived from the attributes of performance in SCOR, which include Perfect Order Fulfillment (POF) 84% Order Fulfillment Cycle Time (OFCT) 30 days Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) 58% Cash to Cash Cycle Time (CTCCT) 64 days. This research uses the SCOR method to analyze supply chain performance and provide solutions to the identified problems. Therefore, this research can help improve the company's performance in a more effective and efficient manner.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of investment, financing, and MSMEs on the economic growth of Medan City from 2017 to 2022. It is a quantitative research study conducted through library research and reference studies. Data collection methods include questionnaires and documentation studies. The data analysis involves validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, t-tests (partial), F-tests (simultaneous), regression analysis, and coefficient determination. The results indicate that investment, financing, and MSMEs play significant roles in the economic growth of Medan City. Investment contributes 14.1% to economic development by enhancing infrastructure and technology, which supports the industrial sector and creates job opportunities. Financing, with a 99.1% contribution, facilitates business access to capital, improves efficiency, production capacity, innovation, and supports economic diversification. Although MSMEs contribute only 1.9%, they are crucial for the local economy by providing employment and reducing poverty. Supportive pro-MSME policies are essential for their growth. Overall, these three variables contribute 97.5% to the economic growth of Medan City's community between 2017 and 2022, underscoring their key roles in driving local economic development.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the partial and simultaneous effect of interest rate variables and financial performance on stock prices and also to determine the inflation variable moderating the effect of interest rates and financial performance on stock prices (Stocks Listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index Period 2014-2023). This research uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study were 30 JIIcompanies. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, so as to get a sample of 10 companies. The data used is panel data. The data analysis method used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis and moderating regression analysis (MRA). The variables used in this study are Interest Rates, Earning Per Share (EPS), Debt Equity Ratio (DER), Inflation and Stock Prices. The results showed that partially interest rates and DER had no significant effect on stock prices. While EPS has a significant effect on stock prices. Simultaneously interest rates, EPS and DER have a significant effect on stock prices. In the moderation test (MRA), partially Inflation is not able to moderate interest rates, EPS and DER on stock prices. While simultaneously Inflation is able to moderate interest rates, EPS and DER on stock prices.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effect of the expansion policy of the KEDAN digital platform managed by the Medan City Government on the marketing of MSME products in Medan City. The main focus of the research is to identify the level of satisfaction of MSME players with the marketing of their products through this digital platform and analyze how the policies that have been implemented by the local government affect the marketing outcomes. This research uses a quantitative approach with simple linear regression analysis to describe the characteristics of the sample, as well as inferential analysis using SPSS version 29. The research population consists of MSME players who are eligible to transact on the KEDAN digital platform, with a total of 120 respondents in this survey. The results showed that most MSME players in Medan City were satisfied with the marketing of their products through the KEDAN digital platform, with the satisfaction level reaching 95%. Regression analysis showed a positive relationship between the Government's policy towards KEDAN's digital platform and increased marketing of MSME products in Medan City.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the development of Binjai City Tourist Destinations. The research method used is descriptive with a quantitative approach. Where the data gathered through observations, interviews, and queries will be sorted as efficiently as possible to be more easily understood by the reader. The analysis used is based on SWOT analysis, i.e. by looking for strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the development of Jona Garden Destination City of Binjai. Therefore, the strategy to be developed is the strategy and treat with the maximum possible use of tourism development in order to prosper further. The strengths that Jona Garden Binjai has to develop are the beauty of tourist objects, preserving the uniqueness of the tourist attractions, enhancing the social sense with the tribal, racial, religious, social and cultural surroundings of the objects of tourism, improving the quality of the Human Resources of the staff, promoting it either through social media or through relations with the tourism service.
