Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of research on the financial performance of pharmaceutical companies listed on the IDX for the period 2017 to 2022 show that a high current ratio value does not guarantee the company will quickly pay off its debt obligations. Abstract

Performance and profitability are closely related to financial reports because these two things are part of financial reports. Accuracy of financial reports is one of the criteria for professionalism. Even though there are regulations regarding the submission of financial reports, the phenomenon that occurs from year to year on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) is that publicly listed firms are still late in submitting audited annual financial reports. The study of the time span and delays in publishing audited financial reports is an interesting phenomenon to research. This research aims to determine the influence of firm size, profitability, and audit opinion both partially and simultaneously on audit delay. The research method uses a quantitative/statistical study approach, testing data with the SPSS 26 for Windows program. The population of this research is all energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2022 period. The sample was determined using a purposive sampling technique and 25 companies or 100 research data were obtained. The research results show that partially firm size has no effect on audit delay, profitability has no effect on audit delay, audit opinion has an effect on audit delay. And simultaneously, firm size, profitability and audit opinion influence audit delay.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of budget participation on budgetary slack with two moderating variables, namely: information asymmetry and organizational commitment. Inconsistencies in previous studies regarding the effect of NGO participation on budgetary slack became the motivation for this research. Data was collected using a questionnaire to local government Units / OPDs in Banten Province. Respondents were selected using a purposive sampling method where officers involved in the budgeting process, of the 105 questionnaires distributed, 80 questionnaires were returned. The analysis method uses variance-based SEM using Smart PLS 3.0. The research instrument has passed the validity and reliability standards. The research results show that budget participation has an effect on budget slack. This research proves that the interaction between research and asymmetric budget participation information has a negative effect, while organizational commitment significantly budget participation in information asymmetry can increase budgetary slack, otherwise organizational commitment reduces budgetary slack.

After COVID-19 hit at the beginning of 2019, it hit the economy in various countries, especially Indonesia, which saw a decline in profits for the affected companies. Apart from that, lessons can be learned that implementing good governance, social responsibility (CSR) and reducing carbon emissions are important things to implement for company sustainability. The sample for this research was selected using a purposive sampling method, obtaining 9 companies listed on the Sri-Kehati Index that met the criteria with a total of 45 data. The research results show that corporate governance and corporate social responsibility have no effect on company sustainability. However, carbon emission disclosure has a positive effect on company sustainability. This research can be used as a reference by companies as input for caring about social and environmental issues and for future researchers as an additional reference in conducting research.
