Abstract

Abstract: Purpose: The purpose of this study is to introduce more aggressively the existing situation of Pandawa Beach (Pantai Pandawa) in Badung, Bali, Indonesia, by implementing a marketing strategy 4.0 during the Covid-19 pandemic. Research methods: The primary data of this study are from observations and interviews with the community and tourism destination managers and other informants who were determined by the snow ball method. The secondary data for this study are from literature study and documentation. Findings: To increase the number of visits during the pandemic, it is necessary to provide more intensive information about the existence, programs, and attractions provided by Pandawa Beach management. The implementation of marketing strategy 4.0 for Pandawa Beach is very important. It is carried out with the 5A component strategy, namely Aware, Appeal, Ask, Act, and Advocate. Implication: Pandawa Beach Managers are expected to be able to promote and provide appropriate information to the public through offline and online (social media networks) so that later it will become an attraction for tourist arrivals during the pandemic.

Abstract

Abstract: Purpose: This paper is to find out the green tourism application on Tiga Warna Beach, Malang, East Java, Indonesia, with SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) analysis. Research methods: This research uses qualitative descriptive method and is done by observing the existence and situation that happens in the field of research and studying some related literatures. Findings: Tiga Warna Beach is a beautiful and attractive destination for tourists but some restrictions make this beach less crowded every day. Tourists who visit are satisfied with the natural beauty served. The final results of development strategies are based on the analysis of SWOT. Implication: A macro business perspective is required for Tiga Warna Beach. Local people and the government should work together by focusing on the common benefits of the destination rather than on opportunistic objectives.

Abstract

Abstract: Purpose: This article aims to analyze the impacts and community reactions to Teluk Benoa (Benoa Bay) reclamation. Research methods: This research is a descriptive analysis. The data collection method used is a literature study with a statutory regulation approach and case studies. Findings: There are positive and negative impacts that will be received by the community if Teluk Benoa reclamation is continued and the actions taken by the community to reject the plan. Implication: The impacts might be received by the community if Teluk Benoa reclamation continues, especially those on the sustainability of the surrounding environment.

Abstract

Abstract: Purpose: This research is to find out the development of green tourism through Tri Hita Karana in Suranadi Narmada Area, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. Research methods: Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires via Google form to 150 respondents. The research uses multiple linear regression analysis (multiple regression), classical assumption test, T test, F test, and determination coefficient test (R2). Findings: Parhyangan has a positive and significant effect on Suranadi Narmada Area. Pawongan has a positive and significant effect on Suranadi Narmada Area. Palemahan has a positive and significant effect on Suranadi Narmada Area. Tri Hita Karana (parhyangan, pawongan, palemahan) has a positive and significant effect on the tourist area of Suranadi Narmada. Implication: Tourism managers today are to pay more attention to tourism business which has ecological, economic, and social sustainability with a basis of local knowledge in such a green tourism paradigm.

Abstract

Abstract : Purpose: This study is to identify the implementation of the new era life order in Harper Kuta Hotel, Bali, Indonesia due to Covid-19 pandemic. Research methods: This study uses descriptive qualitative methods supported by the data from respondents collected collectively using the google form platform, which is then reduced and summarized from all existing opinions. Findings: The new era of life in Harper Kuta Hotel is taking place positively. It is according to the existing standard operating procedures. The creation of the new standard operating procedures is adjusted to the guidelines issued by the Bali Provincial Tourism Office which are used as guidelines in carrying out verification. Implications: There are some additions and adjustments to existing standards both in terms of products and services, as well as from the use cycle of elements that come into contact with guests.

Abstract

Abstract : Purpose: This research aims to analyze the CHSE (cleanliness, health, safety, and environment) program in a hotel so that the level of the hotel room occupancy can be increased especially due to Covid-19 pandemic. Research methods: This is a qualitative research. The data collection method is literature study which is obtained from the Human Resources Department of Tijili Benoa Curated Artotel, Bali, Indonesia. Findings: Tijili Benoa Curated Artotel is still using WHO guidelines where the CHSE program is not fully complete according to the regulations of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy. Currently what has been done by Tijili Benoa Curated Artotel is the guidelines taken from the WHO decision. Implications: The program can be developed in accordance with the latest Kemenparekraf (Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif) guidelines so that the hotel can be certified CHSE and can develop future strategies in increasing room occupancy.

Abstract

Abstract : Purpose: This research paper discusses the implementation of Tri Hita Karana in the development and management of traditional Balinese homestays in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia. Research methods: The qualitative research which data are obtained through observation, literature study, and in-depth interviews with several informants, namely observers of Balinese cultural tourism and owners and managers of homestays in Ubud. Findings: Traditional Balinese homestays in Ubud are buildings where local residents live in the form of umah "pondok" or new buildings that are prepared for tourists. They are built with a traditional Balinese architectural model that refers to the Tri Mandala and Tri Hita Karana philosophy that reflect the harmonious relationship between humans and God (parahyangan), humans and each other (pawongan), and humans and their environment (palemahan). Implications: The existence of traditional homestay in Ubud that are able to support the sustainability of tourism development in Bali needs to be maintained.

Abstract : Purpose: This study aims to determine the green marketing strategy in making a tourism business based on environment and health in Belimbing Tourism Village, Tabanan, Bali, Indonesia. Research methods: This is a mixed method research. SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats) matrix is used to describe clearly how the external opportunities and threats faced by Belimbing Tourism Village can be adjusted due to its strengths and weaknesses. Findings: The strategies implemented in Belimbing Tourism Village are the use of social media and holidays as promotional materials, and green marketing as a concept in promoting to protect the environment, socio-culture and society. Implications: The strategies applied in Belimbing Tourism Village include social media and holidays as promotional materials, and green marketing as a concept in promoting to protect the environment and the socio-cultural things.

Abstract

Abstract : Purpose: This research is to analyze the application of digital marketing of Balinese culinary tourism in Denpasar City, Indonesia, based on Geographic Information System. Research methods: The data collection is collected by examining and/or exploring several journals, books, and documents as well as sources of data and or other information deemed relevant to the research. Findings: The outcome of this research is a digital marketing system design of Balinese culinary tourism in Denpasar City based on the Geographic Information System. The design is to improve the marketing of Balinese culinary tourism in the city. Implications: The digital marketing model can make the users (tourists/excursionists) easier to search in mapping the location of restaurants or culinary tourism in Denpasar City quickly and precisely and can be accessed by anyone, anytime, and anywhere.

Abstract

Abstract : Purpose: This study is concerned with the challenge of how to creatively appreciate Soekarno the first president of Indonesia’s series of painting collections. Research methods: Based on multidisciplinary approaches it was composed of an imaginary building as well as Soekarno’s virtual art museum gallery. Findings: During his life, Soekarno (1901-1970) was fond of collecting numerous of masterpiece paintings and sculptures all of which beautified in six Presidential Palaces. By accommodating interest points in museum buildings and applying Jenck’s theory of postmodern architecture, a virtual or imaginary museum was created. A video depicting the artwork was uploaded on YouTube channel, which serves as Soekarno’s legacy. Implications: Because it is presented in cyber space, it can be easily accessed, and to be a virtual tourism.
