Jurnal CoSciTech (Computer Science and Information Technology) merupakan jurnal peer-review yang diterbitkan oleh Program Studi Teknik Informatika, Fakultas Ilmu Komputer, Univeritas Muhammadiyah Riau (UMRI) sejak April tahun 2020. Jurnal CoSciTech terdaftar pada PDII LIPI dengan Nomor ISSN 2723-5661 (Online) dan 2723-567X (Cetak). Jurnal CoSciTech berkomitmen menjadi jurnal nasional terbaik untuk publikasi hasil penelitian yang berkualitas dan menjadi rujukan bagi para peneliti. Jurnal CoSciTech menerbitkan paper secara berkala dua kali setahun yaitu pada bulan April dan Oktober. Semua publikasi di jurnal CoSciTech bersifat terbuka yang memungkinkan artikel tersedia secara bebas online tanpa berlangganan.

Information technology is a very important part of the organization. IT is expected to provide a good profit for the company. However, as technology evolves, it is often exploited by some irresponsible parties that can lead to the emergence of threats and risks from the use of technology. The organization needs to measure the level of information security to identify the system's weaknesses and threats to the organization. Standards for measuring information security are COBIT 5 subdomain manage security services (DSS05) and NIST SP 800-55 revision 1. This study is comparing the two standards. Comparative analysis uses qualitative analysis based on three aspects in information security that are confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Based on the analysis result obtained the advantages and disadvantages of each standard.

A business institution can promote their products in its online shop. With the promotion of online stores, consumers can find out which products are sold at the store. Consumers who are looking for a product can search based on various attributes of goods that are scattered in various fields in the database table, and can even be spread across different tables. All attributes that point to an item are collected in one document which will be searched using the Full Text Search system. Two alternatives to the Full Text Search system were selected; Lucene.Net and Sqlite Full Text Search. Before actually being used, these two search system alternatives were tested first. In document storage size, Lucene.Net is superior by 6.78 times. The speed of writing Sqlite search documents is superior by between 1,875 times to 5,197 times. In terms of key search speed, Lucene.Net was superior by between 1,169 and 1,698 times. Based on the consideration of the speed and development of Lucene.Net Core which is still in beta stage, Sqlite Full Text Search is suitable for use in the product search process in the Online Store.

Personality is the overall psychological and physical aspects of an individual reacting and interacting with other individuals. Personality is a prominent and often shown thing that exists in an individual. Students have different personalities, and that will affect the quality of learning. To be able to improve the quality of learning, schools need to identify and understand the personality of their students. So that appropriate learning methods can be applied and the selection of appropriate majors in tertiary institutions. To identify student personality can be done with a system called the expert system. The expert system identifies student personalities using the forward chaining method obtained from State High School 1 Candung students (SMAN 1 Candung), Agam Regency. In the forward chaining method, the reasoning process starts from the facts first to test the truth of the hypothesis. The process of finding the data starts from the premises to the final conclusion. Creating an expert system for identifying student personalities using the PHP Programming Language and MySQL Database. The result of testing this method is knowing the personality of students so that appropriate learning methods can be applied, majors recommendations and advice on the type of work according to the personality of the student. Personality expert system has been able to identify the personality of students in determining learning methods and choosing majors as well as suggestions for the type of work. Personality expert systems have been able to identify student personalities in determining learning methods and selection of majors as well as suggestions for types of work. This expert system is already running well and can be recommended to help students, teachers and schools in improving the quality of learning in schools

Along with the development, the application can be used as a medium for learning. Augmented Reality is a technology that combines two-dimensional’s virtual objects and three-dimensional’s virtual objects into a real three-dimensional’s then projecting the virtual objects in real time and simultaneously. The introduction of Solar System’s material, students are invited to get to know the planets which are directly encourage students to imagine circumtances in the Solar System. Explenational of planets form and how the planets make the revolution and rotation in books are considered less material’s explanation because its only display objects in 2D. In addition, students can not practice directly in preparing the layout of the planets in the Solar System. By applying Augmented Reality Technology, information’s learning delivery can be clarified, because in these applications are combined the real world and the virtual world. Not only display the material, the application also display images of planets in 3D animation’s objects with audio.

Prediksi merupakan bagian dari awal suatu proses pengambilan suatu keputusan. Dalam kegiatan produksi, prediksi dilakukan untuk menentukan jumlah permintaan terhadap suatu produk dan merupakan langkah awal dari proses perencanaan dan pengendalian produksi. Permasalahan stok barang yang umum terjadi, seperti stok barang yang tidak terjual atau stok barang dengan merk tertentu menjadi kendala yang dihadapi dalam upaya untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pelanggan. Disamping itu, upaya dalam menghasilkan perencanaan dan pengendalian produksi yang baik juga merupakan salahsatu fungsi prediksi dalam kegiatan produksi. Pada penelitian ini diimplementasikan penggunaan metode Single Exponential Smoothing untuk memprediksi stok bedsheet dari berbagai merk berdasarkan data-data penjualan produk tersebut. Metode yang digunakan untuk menghitung kesalahan prediksi yang dihasilkan adalah metode Mean Absolute Percent Error(MAPE). Nilai prediksi ditentukan dari nilai alpha yang paling cocok dari perhitungan kesalahan prediksi hingga menghasilkan nilai yang paling kecil. Data yang digunakan merupakan data penjualan bed sheet periode Februari 2020 sampai dengan Mei 2020 dari 3(tiga) merk yang cukup diminati pelanggan pada tempat studi kasus. Dari hasil perhitungan yang dilakukan hasil perhitungan akurasi prediksi dari beberapa merk bed sheet tersebut mencapai 94.01%.

Video streaming is a technology that is often used when watching videos on the internet without having to download then video to play it. Some problems that affect the performance of video streaming are such as the large capacity of the video size, the capacity of the video size affects the smoothness when streaming video. In this research, two video compression methods will be compared, namely H.264 codec and H.265 codec. The test is carried out to determine the effect of using the compression method according to changes in the codec ang framerate used. After testing the two codec, it can be concluded that the H.265 codec is more effective to apply than the H.264 codec.

Internet telah digunakan oleh banyak orang dari berbagai kalangan untuk mengakses informasi.Umumnya informasi-informasi tersebut disajikan pada website yang dapat dikunjungi oleh pengguna internet kapanpun dan di manapun.Dewasa ini banyak orang yang mengunjungi website e-commerce untuk berbelanja atau mencari informasi mengenai suatu produk.Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa memiliki website e-commerce dapat membantu pelaku usaha untuk memperluas pangsa pasarnya dalam rangka meningkatan penjualan.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang User Interface (UI) untuk website e-commerce pada usaha kuliner dengan memperhatikan aspek visual dan kemudahan dalam penggunaan (user friendly) sehingga dapat menarik minat pengunjung untuk melakukan pembelian. Adapun perancangan User Interface pada penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan User Centered Design (UCD) dengan 4 tahap penyelesaian yang terdiri dari analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, evaluasi dan implementasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan User Centered Design (UCD) pada perancangan User Interface dapat memberikan hasil yang lebih baik dengan menitikberatkan pada kebutuhan pengguna sehingga memungkinkan User Interface yang dihasilkan tidak hanya mudah untuk digunakan (user friendly) tetapi juga dapat menarik minat pengunjung untuk melakukan pembelian.

One computer-based information system is the website, usually in its online form. The amount of activity, financial management and data processing still conducted in manual bogies of difficulty. To address that problem requires easily accessible system of management, at any time, anywhere, precisely, fast and accurate by the mosque and community. On that basis it developed a web based mosque management information systems that are made with a PHP programming language, javascript and mysql database. The goal of the system is to make it easier for the mosque to manage the financial data, to manage activities of the mosque and to make it easier for the public to search for information on the existing website system. The sequence of these studies includes critical analysis, system desaign, implementation, testing and maintenance. The Darussalam mosque management system was tested by the black box method and focused on functional requirements using alpha testing. This research examination is still ina purely functionality testing phase incolving unintended objects can occur without specific testing especially on the interface part where ddynamic programming of the interface elements blending in using HTML and CSS presentation of documents. So in running the system as a web-based application, it should affect the web browser in running the system.

HerangBetta Tangerang adalah sebuah toko penjualan ikan cupang dengan berbagai jenis ikan cupang seperti model halfmoon, crowntail, plakat dan big ear. Sistem penjualan yang berjalan saat ini pada toko HerangBetta dimana pelanggan masih harus dating langsung ke toko dan melihat facebook untuk melakukan pembelian produk. Dalam membangun Sistem Informasi Penjualan Ikan Cupang Berbasis Website Pada HerangBetta Tangerang menggunakan PHP sebagai bahasa programnya dan MySQL sebagai databasenya. Pengembangan sistem ini menggunakan model waterfall dengan tahapan analisis, desain sistem, kode dan tes, implementasi dan perawatan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah website toko online untuk toko HerangBetta yang dapat memudahkan konsumen untuk melihat produk yang sedang dijual secara detail dan melakukan pemesanan tanpa harus datang ke toko. Website ini juga dapat membantu penjual karena saldo yang masuk dapat langsung di ambil tanpa ada perantara dan laporan penjualan bisa di cetak secara harian ataupun setiap bulan.

Dalam era reformasi yang mendorong terciptanya banyak pembaharuan dalam segala bidang termasuk dalam bidang hukum yang terutama dalam hal pemberantasan tindak pidana korupsi, munculah lembaga anti rasua yang diberi nama komisi pemberantasan korupsi seiring berjalannya waktu tahanan para koruptor semakin banyak sehingga membuat kpk mendirikan Rutan sendiri yang dikhususkan untuk para tahanan koruptor. Sebagai sistem yang berfungsi untuk melakukan manejemen control dan pengendalian data tahanan yang masuk serta seluruh kegiatan tahanan. Disisi lain aplikasi ini juga sangat membantu dalam sistem kontrol terjadinya kesalahan dalam input maupun output kunjungan keluarga serta penasehat hukumnya. Dengan dibuatnya sistem registrasi tahanan dengan tehnologi akan membuat cara kerja yang lebih simple dan cepat serta tidak banyak memerlukan penggunaan kertas yang berlebihan dan memudahkan penyimpanan file-file.
