Abstract

In the theory of economic growth, sources of economic growth, sources of growth comes from the ability of a country in developing potential resources. Quality and the greater the higher the quality of resources, it also has a greater potential to increase a country’s economic growth. Factors that are important in sources of growth are natural resources, capital, saving, and development of technology. Property natural resources would help the economy of a country, although not enough if not supported by the skill of exploration for natural resources. Both capital and saving is also a factor of production as the dominant element of economic growth for the future. Similarly, the development of technology can be widely accepted as a source of economic growth. This is because the technology that allows manufacturers to produce more with the same input level. The development of technology depends on the ability of science and the quality of education of a country and how much attention on research and development. Results of empirical studies of economic growth showed that the relationship is a strong economic development of a country with a capacity of human capital in the country. However, the dynamic relationship between economic growth with human capital and research & development can be explained since 1980 when Romer and Lucas describe the relationship with the growth model endogenous or new growth theory. In this paper will try to explain briefly the history of the development of the economics of growth theory and briefly review the core of neoclassical model and endogenous growth models. Then, this paper will explain the role of accumulation of human capital and research & development in economic development. Finally, this paper will review the role of the public sector and policy implications in the process of accumulation of human capital and investment of R & D to contribute to economic growth.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the comparison of financial performance between PT. Ciputra Development Tbk. and Sinarmas Land Tbk. in the period 2012-2017. The company's performance in this study was measured using financial ratios such as CR (Current Ratio), DER (Debt to Equity Ratio), NPM (Net Profit Margin), TATO (Total Asset Turnover), PER (Price Earnings Ratio). The sample in this study were 2 com-panies. This study uses data analysis techniques for Independent Sample T-Test. The results showed that the financial performance between the two companies assessed from these 5 financial ratios, 4 of which stated that there was a difference between the financial performance of the two companies and 1 ratio stat-ed that there was no difference between the financial performance of the two companies. CR (Current Ra-tio), DER (Debt to Equity Ratio), NPM (Net Profit Margin), TATO (Total Asset Turnover) stated the differ-ence in financial performance at PT. Ciputra Development Tbk. with Sinarmas Land Tbk. while PER (Price Earnings Ratio) showed that there is no difference in both companies. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbandingan kinerja keuangan antara PT. Ciputra Develop-ment Tbk. dan Sinarmas Land Tbk. pada periode 2012-2017. Kinerja perusahaan dalam penelitian ini diukur menggunakan rasio keuangan seperti CR (Current Ratio), DER (Debt to Equity Ratio), NPM (Net Profit Margin), TATO (Total Asset Turnover), PER (Price Earnings Ratio). Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 2 perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data untuk Independent Sample T-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja keuangan antara kedua perusahaan dinilai dari 5 rasio keu-angan ini, 4 di antaranya menyatakan bahwa ada perbedaan antara kinerja keuangan kedua perusahaan dan 1 rasio yang menyatakan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan antara kinerja keuangan kedua perusahaan. dua perus-ahaan. CR (Current Ratio), DER (Debt to Equity Ratio), NPM (Net Profit Margin), TATO (Total Asset Turnover) menyatakan perbedaan kinerja keuangan pada PT. Ciputra Development Tbk. dengan Sinarmas Land Tbk. sedangkan PER (Price Earnings Ratio) menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan di kedua pe-rusahaan.

Abstract

In Indonesia, there is still gender inequality in various forms, such as in education, remuneration, and position. The Government of Indonesia reports that Indonesian women still experience inequality in many aspects. In 2010, the mean years of schooling are longer for men than for women (8.34 versus 7.50 years). Only 17.5% of Indonesian women involved in Parliament and only 44% of women worked as a manager, professional, administrator or technician. A time series data will be used in this study. This study will regress growth rate of real gross domestic product (GDP) per capita on labor force growth, investment (gross total investment), trade openness and a composite index of gender inequality using a time series analysis. The results of the analysis show that gender inequality slows down the economic growth, while the investment, trade openness and growth of labor force accelerate the economic growth.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of Social Media Marketing variables on Purchase Intention through Brand Awareness. The analysis that be used is path analysis. The sample is 97 instagram followers of Martha Tilaar Salon Day Spa taken from the number of 3721 followers Martha Tilaar Salon Day Spa followers on April 13, 2019. The dependent variable used is Purchase Intention. The independent variable is Social Media Marketing and the intervening variable is Brand Awareness. This study provides empirical evidence that Social Media Marketing has a significant positive effect on Brand Awareness, Brand Awareness has a significant positive effect on Purchase Intention, Social Media Marketing has a significant positive effect on Purchase Intention, Social Media Marketing has a significant positive effect on Purchase Intention with Brand Awareness as an independent variable . Empirical results from this study have implications for salon entrepreneurs, marketing divisions in the beauty and spa industry as well as the development of Social Media Marketing theory, Brand Awareness that influences Purchase Intention as a result of this study

Abstract

The current level of competition in the banking industry is getting stronger and enable banks to do all kind of business to attract customers as much as possible, and make them satisfied. The bank always trying to improved the quality of service in this competition, and one of them is Bank BTN. Bank BTN managed the 6th of the top 10 Bank Service Excellence Monitor. The purpose of this research is to know customer satisfaction through service recovery. This research is quantitative descriptive research. This research used survey method by using questioner. The sample of this research is the customer of Bank BTN who experienced service failure especially ATM. Purposive sampling is used to select respondents, with 60 respondents and using Statistical for Solutions Products and Services (SPSS) as a technique of data analysis. The results of the research revealed that: 1. Distributive justice is positively related to customer satisfaction, 2. Procedural justice is positively related to customer satisfaction, 3. Interactional justice is positively related with customer satisfaction, 4. Distributive justice, procedural justice, interactional justice, together positively related to customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study discusses the customer relationship management and quality of the customer experience, which is thought to affect customer satisfaction and the impact on customer loyalty at sisha cafe Kemang. In this study, the variable of the customer relationship management and the customer experience quality is measured through the dimensions of those variables. Each of these dimensions will be partially tested on how it affects customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. In addition, this study also wanted to know which the most influential dimension to customer satisfaction and customer loyalty are. The research sample was 100 visitors who visited the sisha cafe Kemang at least three times within a period of one week. The observations will be analyzed using the Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results from the study showed that the four dimension of customer relationship management and five dimensions of customer experience quality have a strong significant effect on customer satisfaction. and so it takes customer satisfaction as an intervening variable to achieve customer loyalty have a strong significant effect.

Abstract

This study is aim to investigate the useful of method VaR in hence prediction of investment risk on common stock property were listed at Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI). The method VaR can be divided by three criteria, such as accurate, efficient, and conservative. Using time series data price of stock properties for seven years, the data has been analised using the tools of Microsoft Excel and E-views 7. The sample of this study was property sector with purposive sampling criteria such as the stock are actively trade, the company have complete data of prices for the period of the study, and the company total asset are more than 5 (five) billion rupiah. The research show that Risk Metric Method is conservatif (95% confidence level) and Historical Simulation Method is the conservative (99% confidence level) in predicting Investment Risk property sector. Furthermore, Monte Carlo Method is the most efficient (95% and 99% confidence level) and the most accurate (95% and 99% confidence level) in predicting Investment Risk property sector. This result was supporting previously research by Ni’mah (2014) that Monte Carlo Simulation is the most effisien and accurate for investor predicting of investment risk with 95% confidence level.

Abstract

Alumni have an important role for the better of a college, like positive behaviors that can provide long-term benefits to his alma mater. This research aims to examine and analyze a model of the behavior of alumni that reflected at brand identification, prestige, satisfaction towards word of mouth, participation and financial support. This study used a survey method from 192 respondent which is the alumni of STIE Indonesia Banking School. The results of the analysis using Structural Equation Models (SEM) with the following summary: Satisfaction has a positive influence towards the brand identification, word of mouth, participation and financial support on alumni STIE Indonesia Banking School. Prestige has a positive effect on the brand identification and word of mouth, but not on the participation and financial support on alumni STIE Indonesia Banking School. Last, brand identification has a positive influence on participation, but not in word of mouth and financial support

Abstract

According to Undang-Undang RI Number 10 Year 1998, Bank is an entity that collects funds from the public in the form of deposits, then channeled to the community in the form of credit or other forms in order to improve the standard of living of the people. Therefore, banks need to make some effort to improve productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness in serving customers. One effort that can be done is by making almost all of the banking operations computerized. Since the computerized operations in the bank is growing, then development and software engineering analysis is needed. The development of software engineering is based on forward chaining expert system analysis against the selection of hardware and software to meet the banking needs. However, the development of software engineering is not only based on the user needs (user requirement) and tools that are used in these process analysis methods, but also the analysis of risk management in each process. By applying risk management in software engineering development process, it can assist the management in decision making (decision support system) for mitigating and minimizing the unexpected risks. The documentation of risk is not only done in the beginning of development, but also when the development is on going, so that it can make the development of software engineering becomes easier

Abstract

Kondisi kinerja bank Syariah di Indonesia mengalami stagnansi dalam hal pertumbuhan pangsa pasarnya.  Salah satu factor penting dalam membentuk kinerja organisasi adalah kinerja dari para pegawainya.  Kinerja pegawai dapat ditingkatkan dengan meningkatkan kreatifitasnya.  Pegawai yang kreatif akan memiliki kinerja yang lebih baik.  Kreatifitas meningkat jika pegawai memiliki komitmen afektif yang tinggi, memiliki job resourfullness, serta memiliki leader yang bergaya authentic leadership.   Data yang digunakan adalah pegawai dari Bank Umum Syariah (BUS) dan Unit Usaha Syariah (UUS) di Indonesia.  Didapat 56 responden yang berasal dari 5 BUS dan 3 UUS.  Hasil pengujian mengungkapkan bahwa alat ukur penelitian valid dan reliabel. Pengujian menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) berbasis varian, dan diuji dengan aplikasi SmartPLS 3.0.  Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa authentic leadership mempengaruhi komitmen afektif dan job resourcefulness pegawai.  Komitmen afektif dan job resourcefulness pegawai mempengaruhi kreatifitas.  Kreatifitas sendiri mempengaruhi kinerja dari pegawai.  Satu-satunya hipotesis yang ditolah adalah authentic leadership yang tidak mempengaruhi kreatifitas secara langsung.
