Abstract

Komitmen pegawai terhadap organisasinya merupakan hal yang penting, karena akan mendorong kinerja individu dan kinerja organisasinya. Riset ini menggunakan 5 bukan dimensi faktor Internal Corporate Social Responsibility (ICSR) dan kepemimpinan transformasional sebagai anteceden dari komitmen pega-wai. Kelima faktor ICSR tersebut adalah ICSR Keamanan dan Keselamatan, ICSR Hak Asasi Manusia, ICSR Training dan Pengembangan, ICSR Keseimbangan Kerja dan Hidup serta ICSR Keragaman di ling-kungan kerja. Responden penelitian adalah pegawai bank umum syariah (BUS) yang berlokasi di Jabodetabek. Terkumpul 95 sampel dari 8 buah umum syariah. Model diujid dengan Struktural Equation Modeling (SEM), berbasis varian, dan diolah dengan aplikasi SMART PLS 3.0

Abstract

Job satisfaction is an important factor in human resources management in an organization. There are three factors that can influence job satisfaction. There is leadership style, learning organization and corporate culture. Leadership style and corporate culture are also can influence learning organization. Research conducted in bank X, one of commercial banking in Indonesia. The sample size is 242 employee, and the model tested by Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The result shows that learning organization and corporate culture significantly influence employee’s job satisfaction. Leadership style and corporate culture significantly influence learning culture.

Abstract

Kondisi kinerja bank Syariah di Indonesia mengalami stagnansi dalam hal pertumbuhan pangsa pasarnya.  Salah satu factor penting dalam membentuk kinerja organisasi adalah kinerja dari para pegawainya.  Kinerja pegawai dapat ditingkatkan dengan meningkatkan kreatifitasnya.  Pegawai yang kreatif akan memiliki kinerja yang lebih baik.  Kreatifitas meningkat jika pegawai memiliki komitmen afektif yang tinggi, memiliki job resourfullness, serta memiliki leader yang bergaya authentic leadership.   Data yang digunakan adalah pegawai dari Bank Umum Syariah (BUS) dan Unit Usaha Syariah (UUS) di Indonesia.  Didapat 56 responden yang berasal dari 5 BUS dan 3 UUS.  Hasil pengujian mengungkapkan bahwa alat ukur penelitian valid dan reliabel. Pengujian menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) berbasis varian, dan diuji dengan aplikasi SmartPLS 3.0.  Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa authentic leadership mempengaruhi komitmen afektif dan job resourcefulness pegawai.  Komitmen afektif dan job resourcefulness pegawai mempengaruhi kreatifitas.  Kreatifitas sendiri mempengaruhi kinerja dari pegawai.  Satu-satunya hipotesis yang ditolah adalah authentic leadership yang tidak mempengaruhi kreatifitas secara langsung.

Abstract

One of the internal factors in the organization of Islamic Banks, or hereby BUS, considered important by regulators to be increased is their Human Resources, including in Bank X. Current human resources in the organization, including bank X, consisting of three generations, Generation Y, Generation X and Baby Boomer Generation. Each generation has different cognitive conditions, emotional states, and social conditions. This generation difference also affects the management of human resources in one company. This condition is the basis for doing human resources research on one generation only, namely Generation Y. Generation Y selection is because this generation will be the next generation in the company. One of the important factors related to human resources is its job satisfaction, which can determine the success of the organization, increase the productivity of employees and companies. Job satisfaction is caused by several factors, including those used in this study are Learning Culture, Transformational Leadership, and Motivating Language. The research was conducted at Bank X and attended by 216 employees who entered in Generation Y category. The test was conducted with SPSS 23, with Multiple Regression statistic methods. All measuring tools show good validity and reliability. The test results revealed that together the three factors above affect job satisfaction, with the proportion of influence of 47%. Transformational and Motivating Language Leadership variables significantly affect job satisfaction, while Learning Culture is not.

Abstract

Comparing to conventional bank, Islamic banking industry in Indonesia relatively still in the early development stage. Islamic bank is different with conventional bank, and therefore there is a special regulation for Islamic bank. Research conducted in 22 countries (including Indonesia), shows that Islamic banking and has differences with conventional banking in term of business orientation, efficiency, asset kuality and stability. But other research 13 countries (not including Indonesia), show that Islamic banking’s performance is lower than conventional banking (Ariss, 2010). Islamic banking in Indonesia has a unique characteristic. Most of Islamic banking in Indonesia is converted from conventional bank, owned by conventional bank or originated from a conventional bank. Some resource of Islamic bank comes from conventional banking even some of them still using resource from their conventional bank as their parent. This result raises a question, whether in the context of Islamic banking in Indonesia, its performance is significantly different from conventional banks. To answer the research questions above, we do a t-test on ROA and ROE Islamic banks and conventional banks from 2009-2014. The results showed that there was no significant difference between the financial performances of Islamic banks with conventional banks, except for 2014. In 2014 Islamic bank’s ROE is lower than conventional banks. This research opens the opportunity to study the factors that could cause a difference in the performance of Islamic banks vs conventional banks.

Abstract

Dewan Komisaris dan Dewan Direktur yang merupakan Top Manajemen Team (TMT) merupakan sumber daya penting bagi organisasi dalam membangun kinerja organisasi. Salah satu faktor dari TMT yang dianggap penting adalah keragaman dari anggota TMT tersebut.  Komposisi dari Dewan Komisaris dan Dewan Direksi adalah bagian penting yang membentuk kemampuan mereka dan berdampak pada kinerja perusahaan. Dari penelitian-penelitian yang ada ternyata dampak dari komposisi TMT terhadap kinerja menghasilkan hasil yang beragam dan dinilai masih membingungkan, sehingga masih perlu untuk diteliti lebih lanjut.  Penelitian ini dilakukan pada konteks industri perbankan dan menggunakan kinerja operasional sebagai dampak langsung dari keragaman TMT, serta dampak langsungnya terhadap bottom line (ROA dan ROE).  Data yang digunakan adalah Bank Umum Indonesia yang masuk katagori Buku 3 dan Buku 4.  Rentang waktu yang digunakan adalah 5 tahun, yakni dari tahun 2013-2017. Kegaraman TMT yang digunakan adalah keragaman Gender. Kinerja operasional yang digunakan adalah Non Performing Loan (NPL), Biaya Operasional Pendapatan Operasional (BOPO), Net Interest Margin (NIM), Outstanding Loan dan Outstanding Dana Pihak Ketiga.  Pengujian model menggunakan SEM dengan aplikasi Smart PLS 3.0.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keragaman gender menurunkan Outstanding Loan dan Outstanding Dana Pihak Ketiga serta BOPO.  Keragaman gender tidak mempengaruhi NPL dan NIM maupun ROA dan ROE secara signifikan.  Faktor yang mempengaruhi ROE adalah NPL, BOPO dan outstanding loan, sedangkan factor yang mempengaruhi ROA adalah NIM dan BOPO.

Abstract

DPR RI memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam sistem pemerintahan di Indonesia, sehingga kinerja sumber daya manusia juga sangat penting. Penelitian ini menguji pengaruh pelatihan kerja, motivasi kerja dan keterikatan pegawai terhadap prestasi kerja pegawai di DPR RI khususnya di Komisi 10. Penelitian ini menggunakan 32 responden. Mereka ahli di Komisi 10 DPR RI. Penelitian ini menggunakan PLS-SEM sebagai teknik analisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan kerja, motivasi kerja dan employee engagement berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi kerja para ahli.

Abstract

Financial management is an activity that all business actors will carry out. Even so, many still need to understand financial management properly. Not a few business actors run a business only by instinct and experience. UKM IKM Kartika Nusantara Indonesia Bekasi region is a partner in this activity. The problem UKM Kartika Nusantara Indonesia faced in the Bekasi region is a need for more understanding of effective financial management and distinguishing between business and personal finance. This community service activity was carried out so that Kartika Nusantara Indonesia SME actors in the Bekasi area could understand the importance of financial management. This PKM activity provides material on financial management. The implementation of the activity was carried out using lecture and discussion methods. The results of this PKM activity have significantly positive results in the average pre-test percentage, which initially showed a figure of 58.7%, increasing significantly to 83.6% in the post-test average percentage. This activity has an outstanding impact and can help develop knowledge and application in managing business finances and minimizing financial-related risks so that they can run their business effectively.

Abstract

The positive impact of absorptive capacity (ACAP) on innovation and the positive impact of innovation on competitive advantage have been proven in different research contexts. However, current knowledge on organizational culture that affects ACAP, innovation and competitive advantage as a whole, remains unclear. This article proposes a model to examine how organizational culture (developmental culture and rational culture) affects ACAP, innovation and competitive advantage, directly and indirectly as well. Surveyed data (in Indonesian Banking Industry) shows that both of organizational culture have a direct impact on ACAP. Only developmental culture has a direct impact on innovation. There is no culture type affects competitive advantage directly. In this research, culture affects competitive advantage through ACAP and innovation.

Abstract

The spread of the Covid-19 virus harms the industry in Indonesia. One of the industries that have been affected by Covid-19 is banking. Human resource management is a central element of the banking industry, so the position of employees in the organization has a strategic role. HR optimization must be equipped with expectations and move the organization to meet its satisfaction. Job satisfaction is very influential on performance; if someone gets high job satisfaction, it will impact his performance. This research starts from July 2021 to February 2022 with primary data. This research samples is employees of the Bank ABC Harapan Indah Bekasi branch were selected using non probability sampling techniques and sampling purposive.The results of this study have implications for management, practitioners, and academics, namely the need to consider job satisfaction for non-permanent employees at the Bank ABC Harapan Indah Bekasi branch.
