Abstract

The rapid development of technology has had a significant impact on various aspects of life, including in the field of home security. One of the innovations in home security systems is the application of Internet of Things (IoT) technology that utilizes PIR (Passive Infrared) sensors to detect human presence in the room. This research aims to design and implement an IoT-based home security system using Node MCU ESP8266 V.3 as a microcontroller and PIR sensor as a motion detector. Currently, theft often occurs in homes especially when the house is empty. This can cause hassle for homeowners. For this reason, it is necessary to have a system that allows users to monitor the condition of their homes. This system can be used in real-time via Websever on a smartphone device, which is connected to the internet network. With this system, it is expected that homeowners can quickly get notifications when there is suspicious activity in the house, especially when the house is empty. This research is also expected to contribute to the development of IoT-based security technology that is more effective and efficient. The results of this research show that the home security system built is able to function properly, provide real-time notifications, and improve overall home security. Based on the test results with several providers such as Indosat, 3 (Three) and Telkomsel, the results obtained are: if the distance between the sensor and the object ranges from 1 to 5 meters, the sensor will read and give a signal “There is Movement”, but if the sensor is rare from the object ranging from 6 to 10 meters, the sensor cannot read the movement.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises or commonly called (UMKM) is one of the businesses that can survive during a crisis, one of which is during the economic crisis and food crisis due to the Covid-19 outbreak that occurred in 2020. The activities of umkm have been regulated by the government in Law Number 20 of 2008 concerning micro, small and medium enterprises, Pondok Roti is one of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (Umkm) engaged in the food industry in Lubuklinggau City. This business has been established for 4 years starting in June 2020 until now. Pondok Roti business can produce approximately 670 pieces of bread / day consisting of 11 types of flavors. One method that can be used in Supply Chain Management (SCM), namely the Value Stream Mapping (VSM) method is Value Stream Mapping is a visual method for mapping the production path of a product which includes materials and information from each work station. So, value stream mapping is one of the lean techniques commonly used to analyze the current flow of materials and information needed to bring a product or service to the consumer. The research results of this scientific work are if the PCE (Process Cycle Efficiency) value is less than 30% then it is included in the un-leand, or lean production process. And from the calculation of activities that are NVA (non value added) disebuat waste (waste). From the calculation process that was carried out, the net profit of Pondok Roti in one month was IDR 84,831,200 every month.

Abstract

This study aims to design and build a web-based financial report management information system at PT Sapta Alamku Jaya to improve efficiency and effectiveness in managing financial reports. Currently, the company still uses Microsoft Excel, which causes problems in the reporting process and data storage, so inefficiencies often occur. To overcome this, the proposed system uses the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, which allows rapid system development with an iterative approach. The system uses PHP Framework for web development and MySQL as the database. The results showed that the developed system could facilitate the admin in managing financial data and improve the accuracy and speed of the reporting process.

Abstract

The Ping of Death attack is a type of denial of service (DoS) attack that exploits a vulnerability in the Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP). This attack is carried out by sending a large number of pings that exceed the maximum limit allowed by the network, causing the server or network device to become slow or even unresponsive. This attack can have a severe impact on server and network performance, especially for services that require high availability such as the Sinanan Lubuklinggau server. This research aims to design a Telegram Bot alert system as an automatic notification tool to detect Ping of Death attacks on the Sinanan Lubuklinggau server, using Snort, a detection system software that is infiltrating the "NIDS" network. Snort is used to detect attacks by examining data packets passing through the network. If Snort detects suspicious activity such as a Ping of Death attack, the system will immediately send an alert via the Telegram bot. The alert contains detailed information about the attack, including the IP address, attacker, timestamp, and location of the affected network. This system has also been proven to work well in high-traffic network environments without disrupting server performance. By implementing this system, network administrators can act more quickly to prevent and manage the threat of Ping of Death attacks, thereby maintaining the stability and security of the Sinanan Lubuklinggau server.

Abstract

Choosing the right oil palm seedlings is one of the efforts to increase the productivity of oil palm plants. At the time of seedling selection, the problem that is often faced is that not all types of seeds can be as desired by farmers against the conditions of different types of oil palm fruit seeds. Therefore, a system is needed that helps in determining the type of superior seedlings according to the needs of farmers. In this research the author applies a machine learning prediction model in determining oil palm seedlings based on leaf type, stem type, seed origin and stem candidates. The purpose of this research is to produce a classification model for determining oil palm seedlings and can provide accurate training for farmers in choosing superior seeds and also can farmers know the characteristics of superior seeds. The method used in this research is naïve bayes. In the first test, both models managed to achieve an accuracy of 84% and an F1-score value of 66%. However, the best performing Naïve Bayes model is the one used in the second test scenario, which is applied as a prediction model in determining oil palm seedlings through the website developed in this study, in the form of a Data Mining Classification System on Agricultural Seedlings at the Agricultural Extension Center of Tuah Negeri District, Musi Rawas Regency Based on Website which can assist in the selection process of oil palm seedlings that will be planted and get superior seedling results.
