Abstract

Tuition fee payments still often experience problems such as data collection and payment information processes which are done manually, conventionally, and not yet computerized, where recording reports still use ledgers, making work neglected and spending a lot of time and energy for the finance department in searching for student data and archiving it, currently There is a need for innovative use of technology in the world of education to assist financial administration in schools so that data collection and payment information processes run effectively and efficiently. This design aims to assist the finance department in recording tuition payments and as a means of informing parents/guardians about payments. The research method used is the RAD (Rapid Application Development) method and the programming language used is PHP, and Mysql as a web design medium and combines layout with programming languages. This application helps the finance department in recording tuition payments and summarizing data every month. Testing is carried out by testing the function of the code that is created and is functional by testing links, and existing menu buttons and ensuring that all parts have been tested. The development stage includes the needs analysis stage, design stage, implementation stage, and testing stage. The system designed by the tuition fee administration information website provides good results because the system runs as expected and can present student payment transaction data reports such as data management, announcement data, payment history data, payment transaction data, transaction report data, note printing data, and organize data. According to the white box test on administration, the SPP payment transaction report is effective and efficient because the test results prove that no errors were found

Abstract

The majority of parents take into account their child's educational standing to some extent. The school's status, number of schools, number of teachers, number of students, and number of classrooms are crucial considerations for parents when selecting a school. The problem is that data regarding the classification of elementary schools in the city of Pangkalpinang is not yet available so that parents and related agencies do not yet know the status & classification of schools in their area. The utilisation of machine learning has been possible for analysing data from Pangkalpinang City School, owing to the advancements in data science technology. This study generates a categorization of school data using clusters of school status. The research used an unsupervised machine learning (ML) model called K-means clustering for classification purposes. The dataset containing 14 sub-district records in Pangkalpinang, utilised for the k-means clustering technique, was acquired from the official website of the Ministry of Education and Culture (https://dapo.kemdikbud.go.id/). The authenticity of the data was verified by the Pangkalpinang City Education and Culture Office. This research use data modelling to establish school standards and utilises an algorithm to assess the precision of school categorization according to its parameters. According to the cumulative Sillhoette scores obtained from the school status, Cluster 1 for 21.43% of the total, Cluster 2  for 28.25%, Cluster for 14.28%, Cluster 4 for 21.42%, and Cluster 5 for 14.29%. The cluster with the lowest attribute values, specifically cluster 2, exhibits the highest number of clusters as shown from the cumulative plot findings. The Pangkalpinang City Government can determine and categorise elementary-level schools by aggregating the number of resulting clusters, as the entity responsible for education and potential pupils. This encompasses measures such as expanding the number of primary schools in areas facing a scarcity of such institutions, augmenting the teaching workforce in schools that necessitate additional educators, accommodating more students in schools that have a need for smaller student-to-teacher ratios in specific regions, and enhancing classroom infrastructure in schools lacking adequate space for in-person instruction.

Abstract

This research was carried out to identify and ensure that existing system procedures in Cimanggis District function properly using the Cobit 5 framework in auditing the e-payment application information system. Based on an audit of the e-payment application information system collected using a quantitative capability analysis method, after a thorough evaluation of the e-payment application, from the questionnaire data it can be concluded that the domain with the highest score, namely the DSS01 Manage Operations domain, has a total maturity index value of 7 .89 maturity level value 1.58 percentage value 158% with Fully Achieved achievement value and GAP value (0.42), DSS02 Manage Service Request and Incidents, got a total maturity index value of 7.87, got a maturity level value of 1.12 percentage value of 112%, with a Fully Achieved achievement value and GAP value (0.88), DSS03 Manage Problems, got a total manturity index value of 7.22, got a maturity level value of 1.44, a percentage value of 144%, with a Fully Achieved achievement value and the GAP value (0.56), with a level 2 target, namely Repeatable but Intuitive, it must be corrected in the domain and sub-domain used, and if there are problems, they must be repaired immediately.

Abstract

Mts Miftahul Amal is an agency that operates in the education sector. This agency carries out payroll using online banking. However, the calculation is done by calculating the data manually and is also only done by one person, so it is prone to delays in providing salary slips and in calculating attendance fines. This thesis will discuss creating a payroll system that can provide convenience for MTs Miftahul Amal admins in calculating employee monthly salaries. This payroll application was created using the Laravel programming language, using the MySql database management system as the database or data storage and Maven as the project management. The payroll application developed using the RAD method has features such as calculating monthly salary, attendance, taxes, BPJS and creating pay slips. It is hoped that by creating this application the process of calculating payroll, absenteeism (absence from work) and permits will become faster and more accurate so as to minimize errors in calculations.  So that the final result obtained from this researcher is to successfully implement the payroll application at MTS Miftahul Amal so that it becomes an appropriate application and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of using the payroll application at MTS Miftahul Amal starting from the beginning of the process of inputting payroll component data to obtaining employee payslips and payroll reports.

Abstract

In facing the digital era, Perum LKBN Antara continues to innovate to remain a relevant source of information. The presence of online platforms, news applications, and integration with social media allows Perum LKBN Antara to reach a wider and more diverse audience. Information technology support and modern content management systems are key in maintaining speed and accuracy in delivering news. In addition, in internal aspects, Perum LKBN Antara has successfully implemented an integrated information system, one of which is in the financial sector using the Antara Information System website. The Antara Information System website contributes to organizational efficiency by automating processes related to website management. The integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system helps combine back-end operations, such as finance, human resources, and inventory management, with the website. This integration reduces manual work, reduces errors, and improves overall operational efficiency. This study measures the quality of the Antara Information System website through Usability Testing dimensions (understandability, learnability, operability, attractiveness) and user satisfaction variables, namely LKBN Antara employees. The data collection method uses primary data in the form of a questionnaire distributed to 109 respondents. Data processing is done using SPSS. Based on data processing, it can be seen that user perceptions of the variables of understandability, learnability, operability, attractiveness are included in the very good category. Based on the research results, it is found that there is only an influence of the attractiveness variable on user satisfaction. From the research results, it can be seen that the understandability variable provides the largest contribution of 87.22% of the other variables.

Abstract

The role of rice in Indonesia is as the main food ingredient that is irreplaceable because Indonesians make rice their staple food. Many people in Indonesia work as farmers and NTB province is one of the provinces where most people work as farmers. Rice planted by the community is not free from disease because disease can attack from anywhere. Diseases that attack rice plants often make farmers confused about how to handle them, especially for farmers who have minimal knowledge about diseases that can attack rice and their solutions. Due to the lack of time and knowledge, when rice fields are affected by disease, many people will discuss with experts. However, due to the lack of time, people are reluctant to go all the way to find experts. Therefore, an expert system was created that is used to detect symptoms and types of diseases that attack rice plants that can be used anywhere and anytime because this expert system is web-based. Based on expert system research on 30 farmers who use the certainty factor method as a basis for calculation can produce similarity of answers with experts by 96%.

Abstract

In facing the development of the marketplace, such as Shopee, which is growing rapidly in Indonesia, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) increasingly rely on this platform to boost their sales. However, challenges persist, especially in predicting their uncertain sales. Nevertheless, running a business doesn't solely depend on retrospective analysis. To achieve the desired sales target, one approach that can be taken is predicting sales. By making predictions, MSMEs can reduce the risk of losses and optimize profits. It's important to note that these predictions are projective and can be influenced by external factors. This research provides insights into the effectiveness of the linear regression method in predicting sales on the marketplace platform. The study lays the groundwork for small business owners to adopt more advanced analytical methods in facing the rapidly changing market dynamics. Based on the sales prediction results using the linear regression method with the help of the Python programming language, the sales for the year 2024 are projected to be 11,614 orders, with values for MAE (Mean Absolute Error) at 22.89, MSE (Mean Squared Error) at 9.13, RMSE (Root Mean Squared Error) at 3.02, and R2-Score at 0.91. These values indicate an increase in sales predictions for the year 2024 compared to the previous year.

Abstract

Framework Information system audits are carried out to identify and ensure that existing system procedures in the company function properly, using the Cobit 5 framework to audit the information system for the assistant manager application in the Clinic because previously there has never been a comprehensive audit of the information system used by the company so that the service The operation of the information system cannot be ascertained whether or not it meets the company's standard requirements and the only thing is that the machine is damaged suddenly, and if the attendce manager application is suddenly damaged then attendance is carried out manually on paper which results in the attendance being very long and ineffective. To see that remaining employee leave is not updated, an audit of the information system on the running Clinic Attendance Manager application is expected to be able to align needs with the company's goals, with quantitative capability analysis. The results of the audit with the two domains used, namely MEA01 Monitor, Evaluate and Assess Performance and Conformance, MEA02 Monitor, evaluate and assess the system of internal control, have not yet reached the expected target level. If sorted from the GAP closest to the target, it is MEA01.01 Establish a monitoring approach GAP value 0.97 MEA01.02 Set performance and conformance target value 0.77, MEA01.03 Collect and process performance and conformance data value 0.80, MEA01.04 Analyze and report performance value 0.53, MEA01.05 Ensure the implementation of corrective actions value 0.55, still far from the target, namely MEA02.01 Monitor internal controls with a value of -1.83, MEA02.02 Review business process controls effectiveness with a value of -1.35, MEA02.03 Perform control self-assessments with a value of -2.78, MEA02.04 Identify and report control deficiencies with a value of -1.70, MEA02.05 Ensure that assurance providers are independent and qualified with a value of -1.82.

Abstract

Online learning is an educational process conducted through the internet. This is a new concept for students and requires adjustment. This method can impact student understanding, as each individual has a unique level of comprehension. This application was developed using the CRISP-DM methodology, which is an industry standard for data mining. Flowcharts are used to illustrate the process of creating applications and implementing algorithms, while DFDs are used to depict data flow. The data for this research was obtained from questionnaires distributed to 198 students. The research results show that the application implementing the C5.0 algorithm to determine the level of student understanding of online learning materials during the covid-19 pandemic has been successfully implemented and functions well, with a student understanding level of 60%. However, this figure is still considered low. Based on the decision tree results generated by the C5.0 algorithm, the communication attribute is the most influential factor in online learning. Therefore, to improve student understanding, an increase in multi-directional based learning is needed.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an orange harvest revenue prediction system that integrates color-based sorting technology and rule-based data analysis. With the increasing demand for oranges in Indonesia, efficiency and accuracy in the sorting process and revenue prediction are of utmost importance. The developed system utilizes the TCS34725 color sensor to classify oranges based on maturity level and employs a rule-based method to predict harvest revenue based on sorting data and external factors such as weather conditions and market prices. Field testing results indicate that this system significantly improves sorting accuracy and provides accurate revenue predictions. The implementation of this technology in the orange industry offers potential enhancements in operational efficiency and profitability. This research contributes importantly to the application of sensor technology and data analysis in agriculture, demonstrating how technological innovation can help address challenges in the orange industry and the broader agricultural sector.
