Aksara merupakan jurnal yang diterbitkan oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Batanghari dan Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat Universitas Batanghari. Jurnal ini merupakan jurnal penelitian yang mempublikasikan artikel hasil penelitian asli, studi kepustakaan, dan tulisan terkait dengan fokus pada kajian Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia, kajian bahasa dan kajian sastra. Semua artikel ditinjau oleh 4 orang reviewer, 2 orang reviewer internal dan 2 orang reviewer eksternal. Jurnal ini diterbitkan dua kali dalam satu tahun setiap bulan April dan bulan September, jurnal aksara ini dapat diakses pembaca, jurnal aksara ini berisi hasil penelitian pustaka maupun hasil penelitian lapangan. Jurnal ini meliputi beberapa ranah Ilmu sebagai berikut: 1. Kajian Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia meliputi bidang pembelajaran keterampilan berbahasa, pembelajaran linguistik, pembelajaran semantik, pembelajaran pragmatik, pembelajaran wacana, pembelajaran sosiolinguistik, pembelajaran psikolinguistik serta pembelajaran puisi, pembelajaran prosa, pembelajaran fiksi, pembelajaran drama. 2. Kajian Bahasa Indonesia meliputi: fonologi, morfologi, sintaksis, analisis wacana, semantik, pragmatik, sosiolinguistik, psikolinguistik, bahasa dan budaya, dialektologi, dokumentasi bahasa, serta bidang keilmuan lain yang berkaitan dengan kajian kebahasaan. 3. Kajian Sastra Indonesia meliputi: sastra lisan dan sastra modern berupa kajian puisi, prosa fiksi dan drama.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the imagery contained in the poetry anthology of Joko Pinurbo's Surat Kopi. This research is qualitative descriptive. The main data in this research is written data in the form of expressions containing imagery elements found in the poetry anthology of Surat Kopi by Joko Pinurbo. The data is collected by using library study techniques focused in analyzing the imagery found in the poetry anthology Surat Kopi by Joko Pinurbo. Meanwhile in analyzing the data, analysis and description techniques were used. From the results of the research, it can be concluded that there are imagery of vision, auditory in the 21 poems in the anthology of Surat Kopi by Joko Pinurbo. The description is as follows, (1) there is a vision imagery in the 21 poems of Surat Kopi by Joko Pinurbo, the 21 poems depict that what the poet sees as if it can also be seen by poetry readers, the imagery of visions found are 19 expressions. (2) there is an image of hearing in 21 poems of Surat Kopi by Joko Pinurbo, in the poem describes that the voice heard by the poet as if it can also be heard by the reader of poetry, the image of hearing found are 7 expressions. (3) there is an image of motion in the 21 poems of Surat Kopi by Joko Pinurbo, in the poem illustrates that the things felt moving by the poet as if also felt directly by the reader of poetry, the image of motion found are 11 expressions. Thus the total imagery found in the 21 poems of Surat Kopi by Joko Pinurbo are 37 expressions.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the reduplication in the aspect of form and meaning in the novel Garis Waktu by Fiersa Besari. This research is a qualitative descriptive. The data are in the form of expressions found in the novel Garis Waktu by Fiersa Besari. Based on the data analysis, thera are 190 expressions of reduplication are found. In the aspect of reduplication, 158 citations were found, with the following details; 1) the most dominant form of reduplication found was whole repetition that was 110 expressions; The dominant form of reduplication is the repetition of affixes that was 34 expressions; the least repetition form were 23 expressions, namely partial repetition; and the form of repetition of phoneme changes found in 3 expressions. As for the aspect of the meaning of reduplication, 32 expressions were found, with the following details: the most dominant meaning of reduplication is seven expressions that was "expressing intensity"; The meaning of reduplication which is quite dominant consists of three parts, namely: 6 expressions for restatement containing the meaning of 'much', 6 expressions for restatement containing words “kinds of”, and 6 expressions of rephrasing which contain the meaning of “weakening the meaning'; and the meaning of reduplication was at least 4 repeated expressions with the meaning of "mutually", then 3 repeated expressionswith the meaning of "which resembles the repeated word".

Abstract

This purposes of this research are (1) to identify the effect of the cooperative model STAD type on students’ writing skill of seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 12 Tanjung Jabung Timur academic year 2019/2020, and (2) to describe the steps of writing descriptive text through the cooperative model STAD type of class VII students of SMP Negeri 12 Tanjung Jabung Timur academic year 2019/2020. This research is Quasi-Experimental. The subjects of the research was the students of class VII SMP Negeri 12 Tanjung Jabung Timur in which 30 students in control class and 30 students in experimental class. The data was taken by written test techniques. The data analysis was done by calculating the total score of the control class and the experimental class of each student which was then compared with their skill categories. The indicator of success in this research is the effect of students’ ability in writing descriptive text in class VII of SMP Negeri 12 Tanjung Jabung Timur through the use of cooperative learning model STAD type. This research is said to be successful if the percentage of the students in the experimental class is 82.63 higher than the control class which falls into 70.20. The results showed: (1) the use of cooperative learning model type STAD has an effect in writing descriptive text. (2) The steps of the cooperative learning model STAD type in writing descriptive text are: 1) conveying goals and motivating students, 2) presenting information, 3) organizing students in cooperative groups, 4) guiding groups to work and study, 5) evaluating, and 6) giving awards. Thus the cooperative learning model STAD type significantly influence students’ skill in writing descriptive text.
