Abstract

Ischemic heart disease (IHD) is defined as a lack of oxygen and decreased or absent blood flow to the myocardium caused by narrowing of the coronary arteries. Hypertension is a risk factor that plays an important role in IHD. Hypertension therapy in IHD patients aims to prevent death, myocardial infarction. This study aims to evaluate the achievement of blood pressure targets in IHD patients participating in JKN in the outpatient installation of St. Elisabeth Hospital Semarang. This research is a descriptive observational study using retrospective data. Data obtained from the medical records. The inclusion criteria were JKN participant patients with IHD in the Outpatient Installation of St. Elisabeth Hospital Semarang for the period of October-December 2019 who received antihypertensive, aged 26-65 years, had blood pressure data for two consecutive months. The results were 88 patients, consisting of 64 (72.73%) male patients, 46 (52.27%) patients aged 56-65 years. 57 (64.78%) patients had comorbidities, the most comorbidities were type 2 diabetes. The most widely used antihypertensive agents were beta blockers. A total of 82 (93.18%) patients reached the target blood pressure based on JNC 8. The greater the success in achieving the therapeutic target, the risk of death from IHD will decrease.

Abstract

The waiting time for prescription services is one of the services that can affect patient satisfaction. The main aspect that becomes an effect is that the faster the waiting time for prescription services, the patient will be satisfied. In terms of evaluation and service improvement, it is necessary to know the description of the waiting time for prescription services and the relationship between waiting time for prescription services to the level of patient satisfaction. This method of research is non-experimental with prospective data retrieval. The population are patients or families of patients who await in the service of prescription. Samples used consecutive sampling is obtained 169 respondents. Data collection using questionnaires and observation sheets. Data analysis using SPSS 16.0 is the Spearman test. The results showed that the waiting time for the non-blend recipe service and recipes blends as a whole meet the standard SOP Puskesmas Gambut. The level of patient satisfaction on the Reliability dimension with a percentage of 74.06% is in satisfied category. Responsiveness dimensions with a percentage of 76.33% are in very satisfied category. There is no (signification 0.306 > 0.05) relationship between the prescription service waiting time of the patient's satisfaction level in Puskesmas Gambut.

Abstract

Kumpai mahung is an endemic plant of South Kalimantan which grows in the plains of Meratus mountains. Previous research stated that this plant has potential as an anti-inflammatory against mice and has good antioxidant content. This study aims to determine the activity of kumpai mahung extract against salmonella typhi bacteria. The results of previous studies stated that the phytochemical screening of kumpai mahung extract positively contained flavonoids, alkaloids, tannins and saponins which had the potential to have antibacterial activity. Using the well method with a concentration series of 100%, 75% and 50% and calculated the inhibition zone formed with callipers. The results showed that the mean inhibition zone formed was 19.8 ± 0.2 mm (100%), 17.07 ± 0.1 mm (75%) and 13.9 ± 0.1 mm (50%). It can be concluded that all concentrations have a strong potential against salmonella typhi bacteria.

Abstract

One of the skin diseases that are often experienced by people is acne. The bacteria found in acne are P. acnes, S. aureus, and S. epidermidis. The preparation was chosen in this formulation because it is more practical and durable in storage. Gel preparations were chosen because it dry easily, can form a film layer that is easy to wash, and gives a cool feeling to the skin. Physical stability tests need to be carried out to ensure the quality, safety, and usefulness of the gel so that it meets the expected specifications and is stable in storage. This study aims to make a gel formulation and determine the physical properties of green algae Ethanolic extract gel. The optimum gel formula is determined based on variations in the concentration of Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose. The Gel that meets the criteria of homogeneity, consistency, pH , and dispersibility is determined as the optimum formula. The physical stability of the optimum formula was tested by organoleptic, homogeneity, pH test, spreadability test, and viscosity test. The gel that met the acceptance criteria was green algae ethanolic extract gel with a concentration of 3% HPMC so that it was determined as the optimum formula.
