Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of internal control of accounts receivable against the risk of bad debts. The author finds that this research is important to become new knowledge about internal control of accounts receivable in a company. This research uses a qualitative approach. This research was conducted at the PT. Radhar Delta Bersaudara, Sidoarjo branch. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The data analysis used descriptive qualitative. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the internal control of accounts receivable for the risk of bad debts at PT. Radhar Delta Bersaudara has done very well as evidenced by a decrease in the number of uncollectible accounts from 2015-2019.

Abstract

One of the tax receipts received by the state is used to finance development in Indonesia. For development to run smoothly, the revenue received by the state must increase. The large number of taxpayers will affect the increase in revenue sources because the more the number of compliant taxpayers, the more the source of state income. However, an active role, tax rates, environmental taxpayers, and taxpayer awareness are needed in this regard. This study aims to examine the effect of understanding tax regulations, tax rates, the environment, and taxpayer awareness of taxpayer compliance in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This research method uses quantitative descriptive methods. The population of this study is the MSMEs taxpayer who has been operating for at least one year and has a gross circulation not exceeding 4.8 billion rupiahs in one tax year, because this is based on the provisions of PP No. 23 of 2018. The research sample used simple random sampling technique. The data used are primary data taken based on questionnaires distributed by 100 respondents. The results of this study indicate that the variable understanding of tax regulations significantly influence the compliance of MSMEs taxpayers. Then the variable tax rates, environmental taxpayers and taxpayer awareness do not have a significant effect on tax compliance of MSMEs

Abstract

PT Gerai Terpadu Indonesia is a national level service company, especially in the field of maintenance services for 3 Kg LPG gas cylinders. From the initial survey, it was known that there were weaknesses in the performance of employees at PT Gerai Terpadu Indonesia as seen from the high absence of employees which could affect company performance. This study aims to analyze whether motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and analyzes whether motivation and commitment of employees simultaneously have a significant positive effect on employee performance. This research was conducted using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS version 20 program. The sample in this study were employees at PT Gerai Terpadu Indonesia. The data research method in this research is using a questionnaire to the entire population of 35 people and data obtained from the company. The results of the percentage descriptive calculation research show that the F test results show F-value = 4.675 with a significance value = 0.016 <0.05, which means that H3 is accepted and H0 is rejected or which means that motivation and commitment of employees together or simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on performance employees. The t-test results of the motivation variable obtained t-value = 2.161 with a significance value = 0.033 <0.05, which means H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected, which means that motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The t-test results of the employee commitment variable obtained t-value = 2.357 with a significance value = 0.020 <0.05, which means that H2 is accepted and H0 is rejected or which means that employee commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This research aims to know the development and role of social media as an effort to market online businesses, business motivation to increase sales during the Covad-19 pandemic. Optimization of social media as a business strategy of SMEs, constraints of SMEs in optimizing social media for online businesses. The method used is descriptive qualitative with literature study. Based on the results of the study shows that internet use during the covid-19 pandemic is increasing rapidly, 3 social media are often visited, namely Facebook, Instagram, and youtube. In online marketing, social media has several important roles including effective branding and promotion. Factors that motivate SMEs to start a business include economic success drive, confidence in self-capability,  self-esteem,  social responsibility, freedom to manage a business,  fondness for the work pursued; and, and role model. Optimization of social media as an SME business strategy, among others, is consistently doing business every day to increase sales. While the obstacles faced by SMEs in optimizing social media for online businesses are cost-leadership, differentiation,  and focus. Abstract

Bank Kalsel Cabang Utama Banjarmasin always improve customers services. The improvement need the high performance of employee. The Performance is influenced by organizational commitment, work discipline, and employee morale. To analyzing the influence commitment, work discipline, and employee morale to the performance need the research. This research uses quantitative method. The population is all members of this research 74 employee. The population are consist of 74 respondens. Technique of sampling is used census. This research sample 74 employee. The data collection technique is questioner. Data is analyzed by linier regression analysis The results of this research shows that commitment, work discipline, and employee morale have influence significantly to the performance partially and together. So commitment, work discipline, and employee morale are need to improve because these variables have influence significantly to the performance.

Abstract

Career options are certainly something that should be considered by most students, especially career interests in taxation. A career in taxation is certainly not a profession that is mostly in the interest of students but to learn more about taxation, students will increase their knowledge by doing tax brevet. This research was conducted to find out if there are differences in career interest in the field of student taxation STIE PGRI Dewantara before and after doing tax brevet. Career interest in taxation is a desire of students in determining a career, especially in the field of taxation not only to be a tax consultant but also in the field of tax finance, while to support a career in the field of taxation it is necessary to add insight through the tax brevet where the tax brevet in STIE PGRI Dewantara consists of brevet A /B. This study uses a sample of 167 students of STIE PGRI Dewantara who have followed the tax brevet. Data collection method using questionnaires, data analysis using different test paired sample t-test. The results showed that there was a significant difference in the interest of career students in the field of taxation before and after attending the tax brevet.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of internal and external factors on the profitability of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia during 2012-2018. The internal factors used in this study are derived from bank-specific factors such as capital adequacy ratio (CAR), efficiency ratio/operation costs on operating income (BOPO), financing to deposit ratio (FDR), and non-performing financing (NPF). The external factor used in this study such as interest rate, inflation, and Gross Domestic Product (GDP). The profitability of Sharia Comercial Banks proxied by Return on Assets (ROA). The Population of this study is 11 Sharia Commercial Banks that publish financial reports during the quarterly period 2012-2018. The novelty of this study such as, comprehensive study of Sharia Banking, using quarterly data, using macroeconomic factors which in previous studies were not discussed in-depth, and using panel data regression analysis. The result of this study indicates that  CAR and GDP have a significant positive effect on ROA. Meanwhile, BOPO, FDR and NPF has significant  negative effect on ROA

Abstract

Giving rewards and punishments is an instrument used to increase employee motivation. However, in its implementation, reward and punishment also have an impact on demotivation. This study aims to determine the effect of leadership, reward, and punishment on employee performance at PT. Telkom Indonesia Witel Bandung. This study uses a quantitative approach, namely through multiple regression analysis. This study used 40 research data obtained from the sampling with the purposive random sampling method. This study also shows that leadership, reward, and punishment significantly affect the performance of the employees of PT. Telkom Indonesia Witel Bandung. Increased leadership, reward, punishment, and leadership, reward, and punishment can be promoted to improve goals.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Work Motivation and Career Development on Employee Performance in the general office and staffing secretariat of the DPRD Banten Province. This research was conducted by survey method with a quantitative approach. The population of this study amounted to 200 employees and sampled 133 employees calculated using slovin’s formula. The research was conducted in the general and staffing office of the Secretariat of the DPRD of Banten Province from January 1 to 2019. The data was collected using questionnaires and analyzed with SPSS version 23. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is no influence of work motivation on employee performance, there can be an influence of career development on employee performance, and there can be a significant influence between Work Motivation and Career Development on Employee Performance.

Abstract

The use of social media that is rife in the community has made many companies market their products on social media. The formulation of the problem raised in this research is the role of social media for the Mokko Factory company, the company in conducting sales and promotions through social media and the role of social media in marketing strategies and responses from various groups. The purpose of this study is to find out how the role of social media for companies in Mokko Factory marketing activities, the role of social media in marketing strategies, the responses of lecturers and students to social media as a means of promotion and to find out how the advantages and disadvantages of using social media as a means of promoting Mokko Factory. The research method used for this research is a qualitative method, namely research on research that is descriptive and tends to use analysis. The result of this study is that knowing the role of social media for companies is very profitable because it makes marketing easier.
