Abstract

This study aims to examine tax avoidance from an Islamic economic perspective by focusing on the principles of justice, openness, and social responsibility. The method used in this study is qualitative with a literature study approach. The findings show that the practice of changing financial reports and exploiting loopholes in taxation are included in the prohibited categories, namely tadlis and gharar, according to Islam. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of minimum wages and population on the unemployment rate in Jambi Province in the period 2019-2023. The method used is panel data regression with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) approach. The results of the study indicate that partially, minimum wages and population do not have a significant effect on the unemployment rate in Jambi Province. However, simultaneously, both variables have a significant effect on the unemployment rate. This finding indicates that employment policies must not only consider increasing minimum wages, but also create more productive jobs and adjust labor market needs to population growth. Therefore, the government is expected to implement a more comprehensive policy to reduce the unemployment rate

The results of the study indicate that Islamic economic principles, such as mudharabah, musyarakah, and without usury elements, have been applied in the financing scheme at KSP Tunas Artha Mandiri Syariah. The implementation of this system provides benefits for MSME actors, especially in terms of access to financing and increasing business sustainability, although there are still obstacles such as a lack of understanding of the concept of Islamic economics and limited resources. Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the influence of accessibility and payment convenience in Islamic microfinance on the growth of pindang businesses in Muncar, Banyuwangi. Pindang businesses represent a vital sector within Muncar's fisheries industry but often face challenges due to limited capital. Islamic microfinance offers an alternative financing model aligned with Sharia principles and is expected to foster the growth of pindang businesses through improved accessibility and ease of payment. A quantitative approach was employed using an inferential associative method, with the research conducted among pindang entrepreneurs in Muncar, Banyuwangi. A total of 35 respondents participated in the study. Data were collected through questionnaires, and the analysis methods included validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis, partial tests (T-test), simultaneous tests (F-test), and the coefficient of determination (R²). The results indicate that accessibility and payment convenience have a positive and significant impact on the growth of pindang businesses through Islamic microfinance products. These two variables contribute 95.3% to the growth of pindang businesses, while the remaining 4.7% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Therefore, Islamic microfinance can serve as an effective new solution to support the development of pindang businesses in Muncar.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the income enhancement strategies of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through the implementation of digital payment systems in Sukowono District, Jember Regency. In the digital era, the use of cashless payment methods such as QRIS, mobile banking, and e-wallets has become an important factor in increasing transaction efficiency and expanding market access for MSMEs. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with interview techniques directed at MSME actors. The research findings indicate that although digitalization brings significant benefits such as ease of transactions and increased revenue, MSME actors still face various obstacles such as limited internet access, a mindset of the society that is still accustomed to cash transactions, and a lack of understanding of technology. Effective strategies to address these challenges include digitalization training, improving financial literacy, collaborating with financial institutions, and optimizing digital media for marketing.

Abstract

The e-commerce transaction system, as a novel phenomenon unknown in early Islam, necessitates the establishment of legal rulings relevant to Sharia principles, one of which is through the method of qiyas. This research aims to examine the relevance of qiyas as a method of istinbat (derivation of Islamic law) in the context of e-commerce transactions, particularly concerning its validity and application. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method with a literature review approach, focusing on classical and contemporary literature discussing the qiyas method and its implementation in e-commerce transaction law. The findings indicate that various forms of e-commerce transactions share legal commonalities (illat) with classical muamalah contracts, thus allowing for analogical deduction (qiyas). The implementation of qiyas in e-commerce transactions encompasses three aspects: 1) transactions in general, 2) the use of internet services, and 3) the payment process.
