Abstract

In regional autonomy context, value for money is a bridge to deliver local government to achieve good governance. Value for money must be operated in local finance management and local budgeting. To support it, the management of public money with value for money concept, it needs regional budgeting and good local finance management. This research aims to set factors that influence performance accountability of local government organizations in Palembang. Factors that include are the influence of performance based budgeting and local financial accounting system to performance accountability as partial and simultant. This research using purposive sampling which part of nonprobability sampling of research instrument by 129 questionnaires that directly spread to 43 local government organizations in Palembang to the head of finance department revenue treasurer, and expenditure treasurer. Data of this research was analized by multiple regression using software SPSS 20.0. The result of this research show both as partial and simultant performance based budgeting and local financial accounting system have positive influence and significant to performance accountability in local government organization

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the differences between conventional social reporting concepts of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) based on previous studies with the concept of Islamic Social Reporting (ISR) disclosure both in Islamic banks and conventional banks. The populations of this study are Islamic commercial banks and conventional banks. This study took 8 banks consisted of 4 Islamic banks and 4 conventional banks. The Independent Sample t-Test was used to analyze the data. The results of the study show that the use of the ISR index and CSR between sharia and conventional banks are different from each other in term of the companies’social report disclosure.

Abstract

Efforts to make schools as learning organizations whose citizens have lifelong literature by utilizing their resources. The main supporter of the School Literacy Movement (GLS) has been owned, namely the SMK Negeri 3 Singkawang library that provides a variety of quality reading books, but in real interest in reading and intensity of borrowing books by students is still minimal. The information obtained is the existence of various things that are considered as obstacles, including (1) the availability of quality books in the neighbourhood, (2) the distance between classes to the library room that is not close, (3) the complexity of the procedure for borrowing books in the library, (4) the time limit for borrowing at the library, (5) there is reluctance towards library staff. The purpose of this study is (1) to describe literacy planning in SMK Negeri 3 Singkawang, (2) describe the implementation of literacy activities in SMK Negeri 3 Singkawang, (3) describe the literacy supervision activities in SMK Negeri 3 Singkawang. The Research Method used descriptive qualitative research. The study was conducted in SMK Negeri 3 Singkawang. The research subjects were students of class X in the academic year 2017/2018, data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation study. As well as triangulation of sources and techniques to ensure the validity of the data. Evaluation results Implementation of the reading corner policy beginning in June 2018 in class X students in the academic year 2017/2018 was that all students (100%) have borrowed library books, all students (100%) have read books non-subjects, 100% of students have made a resume of the contents of at least 1 non-text reading book that they read, 69.6% of students felt that the presentation of the results of resume books can improve the ability to speak in front of the crowd. This study concluded that (1) The planning of the liberation movement in SMK Negeri 3 Singkawang was realized by the formation of the GLS team, Cadre Officers and library classes/reading corners. (2) The implementation of literacy activities in SMK Negeri 3 Singkawang has shown progress shown by the enthusiasm of students to read to increase. (3) The supervision of the literacy movement in SMK Negeri 3 Singkawang is jointly conducted between the GLS team and Indonesian language teachers.

Abstract

Conflict of Maritime Security in the Asia Pacific region, especially South China Sea is a conflict that has long occurred and a problem that is often raised both in a regional and international level. Related to the conflict takes Strategy and Management of the State's defense to anticipate the impact of the conflict situations on defense and security of the region. The purpose of this study is to analyze the concept of Defence Management Indonesia in the 21st century in the context of Indonesian Maritime Security, Case Studies U.S Rebalancing in Asia Pacific and South China Sea conflict, as well as to determine the readiness of Defence Management capabilities in the face of threats. The method used is a qualitative method of data collection methods through in-depth interview to the informant. The results showed that in order to improve maritime security in Indonesia has not been implemented in a structured and comprehensive defense in accordance with the management perspective of the countries more advanced, especially on defense preparedness in logistics management as a managing and defense equipment avaible owned by Indonesia government. Based on these results it is suggested the need for socialization implementation of Defense Management in Asia Pacific by Indonesia government in the context of Maritime Security comprehensively.

Abstract

The role of SMEs in the economy of a country, including Indonesia, cannot be underestimated. For example, in the Netherlands, SMEs constitute 98.8% of existing companies and absorb 55% of the workforce. A total of 35 million US dollars of Italian exports is the contribution of SMEs that absorb 2.2 million workers. In Vietnam, 64% of the workforce is absorbed by SMEs. The same thing happened in Indonesia. One application of ICT and the internet in the field of business and trade is electronic commerce (e-commerce). The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of e-commerce on improving the performance of SMEs. Sample to be studied is Small Business Medium in Cilacap, Indonesia. This study uses quota sampling that will be taken a sample of 30 units of SMEs. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling Analyzed performance difference is the performance of SMEs in the show with two dimensions of the increasing number of sales and number of relations, Analysis using statistical program package. Based on the results of the research can be concluded that e-commerce has a positive effect on performance SMEs. This is shown by the increasing sales and relationships of SMEs. More sales will increase the income that the end is the welfare of SMEs.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the personal influence on the professionalism of the family business with a case study in the city of Batam. This research method is a quantitative approach method with a total of 111 respondents of SMEs in Batam. In this study, respondents were selected by filling out an online questionnaire. The criteria for selecting respondents are based on those who own a business or work in a family company. The results of this study were analyzed using the R version 4.0 program with the PLS-PM method. The test results show that three hypotheses are accepted, namely personal value has a significant effect on the variable decentralization, financial system and organization. Meanwhile, three hypotheses were rejected, namely personal values did not have a significant effect on the variable involvement of family members, human resource systems, and socio-cultural aspects.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative research that uses an ethnomethodology approach to study the preservation of Osing culture in Banyuwangi in academic texts. At present, the Government of Banyuwangi packs a variety of indigenous cultures and cultures in an event known as Banyuwangi Festival, an event that invites both domestic and foreign audiences. Meanwhile, cultural actors with all the limitations of their funds are trying to maintain the indigenous culture that has taken root in their village by establishing a cultural studio that is funded independently. Local companies have mostly channeled social responsibility funds but not in the form of social culture. The results of this study which was also the result of the Focus Discussion Group (FGD) forum were agreed that local companies would channel cultural CSR funds by providing direct guidance to cultural actors or cultural studio owners. As the implementation of the policy, the agreement is then stated in the academic text sheet.

Abstract

The development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has become an integral part of people’s life today. Various kinds of business and trade transactions have changed along with the advancement of ICT. One of the sectors that are influenced by the development in information and communication technology is banking. The presence of internet banking has brought more conveniences to the customers in conducting banking transactions anytime and anywhere. However, one of the challenges faced by banks in implementing online banking is the security factor. In addition, consumer satisfaction in conducting internet transactions can be influenced by factors of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) consists of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use and excellent service from the provider. The purpose of this study is to determine whether security, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and service quality havepositive influence on internet banking consumer satisfaction. Thetype of research is explanatory research type. The research variables consisting of independent variables are security factor, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and service quality; meanwhile dependent variable is internet banking consumer satisfaction. The sampling technique used is accidental sampling method combined with snowball sampling method. Datais collected through questionnaires and interviews. Methods of data analysis used is Multiple Regression Analysis. The result shows that variables of  security, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and service qualitysimultaneously influence internet banking consumer satisfaction. It shows that the four variables positively affect internet banking consumer satisfaction.

Abstract

In general, this study aims to determine the effect of eWOM through social media Instagram on the purchase intention of products online in Batam City. This study uses a quantitative approach. The sample in this study amounted to 113 respondents who were users of social media Instagram. This research instrument using a questionnaire and analyzed using techniques Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of the SmartPLS 2.0 program. The results of this study indicate that trust, informational influence, moral obligation have significant involvement in eWOM, but the altruism variable does not have a significant effect on eWOM through social media Instagram and eWOM through social media Instagram has a strong influence on purchase intention of products online in Batam City. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the exchange of information through eWOM can lead to consumer buying interest.
