Abstract

In this article, design of interactive sand table with watersheds modelling was reported. The prototype of an interactive sand table was designed to train fine motor skill for children with neurological disorders. The hands-on interactive sand table allowed users to create some interactive topographic models by shaping real beach sand which is augmented in real time by an elevation color map, topographic contour lines, and simulated water. A topographic model was generated from the projection of elevation maps and contour line colors that resembled sand topographic conditions using a depth sensor from Microsoft Kinect 360 camera, simulation and visualization tools, and a video projector. The interactive sand table had been successfully demonstrated without adverse events by constructing a miniature of island and watershed topography containing lines of contour, rivers, mountains, plateau, and low land for providing various challenges to the users using sand play experience.

Abstract

Ultrasonic welding workload on vertical roller welding components on face-mask body machine in making masks has a highvibration of up to 20kHz. This high vibration causes the locking bolt to loosen the serrations, thus causing a greater failure of function, such as wear and tear on the teeth. If this function fails, it will cause downtime and high costs in the waiting process for the cleat component to be remanufactured. The damage prognosis system based on the condition of this machine implements a Classification of types of damage along with recommendations for maintenance activities that need to be carried out on the Face-Mask Body Machine. Classification of the type of damage to this system using There is a Belief-Backpropagation Neural Network (BPNN), a method for looking for weight settings on a neural network based on the error rate obtained in the previous iteration. This method is optimized using AdaBelief, which can adapt the step size based on the "confidence" of the previous gradient to get Convergence rates and generalization abilities better so that these types of problems can be known from the vibration signal of the machine which previously the signal was parsed using wavelet packet decomposition into frequency bands to obtain component data with low or high frequency. From the results of system performance testing, the modeling accuracy is 98.4%, so this system can be declared good and feasible to use in slack detection of vertical roller welding cleat fixing bolts.

Abstract

The food filling system in raising chickens is still relying on human power. Breeders must regularly check on everything in the cage.  In addition, if the farmer forgets to check it will be fatal and will affect chicken production. The research method will be carried out by monitoring feeding, drinking, vitamins and cleaning cages when ammonia gas is detected which increases above 50. Where in previous studies it was still done manually. Automatic control will be carried out using a microcontroller as the command brain and processing sensor data on the system. Where the trigger for cleaning is based on the ammonia level, while for feed it is based on the volume of the place to feed and drink. The weight sensor has an accuracy rate of 99.9% while the range is 99.13%. For the measurement of chicken manure ammonia gas can be done with a reading accuracy level of 99.69%. After using this system, the value of weight and gas content of Ammonia decreases from the first day to the third day. From the 3-day test, the highest value of ammonia gas content was obtained at a value of 197.56 ppm with a weight of 9.8 grams. The lowest was obtained on the third day with ammonia gas content of 18.37 ppm with a weight of 2.1 grams. For network quality, the system has an average delay of 0.07580 seconds and the packet loss obtained when testing is 6.11% (Very Good).

Abstract

The red ginger plant is a type of rhizome plant which is one of the spices that are needed in Indonesia. The number of requests for red ginger requires the right planting media composition. Charcoal husks and manure are often used as mixed materials, especially those that cultivate plants in the bottom or polybags. An important parameter in the farming system is Electrical Conductivity (EC), temperature and pH. The degree of acidity or pH of the soil is very influential on the growth of a plant with a value between 6.5 to 7.5. The room temperature for red ginger plants is good with a range of 22-35°C. The TDS meter value in PDAM water is good at 100 ppm but the smaller the TDS value the better the water conductivity. The results of the sample testing 1, 2 and 3 of the soil pH value are at 5.9 to 6.4, this has a large impact of plant nutrient not available, so that Plant growth is disrupted. The TDS value is in the value of 87 to 95 shows the conductivity of water during the trial period in good condition. The temperature value of the space is in the range of 20-34°C which the temperature value is in the right condition. Making IoT-Based Application in Red Ginger Plants can help find out the good value of water conductivity, room temperature and soil pH in planting red ginger plants that can be monitored through the application.

Abstract

Employees use their level of attendance or absence to demonstrate their presence at work or absence from it in an agency. This absence is connected to how discipline is applied, which is decided by each organization or institution. It can be inferred from this that student absenteeism in a setting where there is activity serves to increase discipline and demonstrate attendance. With IP Camera technology, it can be applied to the attendance system using the MTCNN method as face detection and FaceNet to extract high-quality features from the face. The system created can detect faces at a distance of 40 cm – 180 cm with an accuracy of 90.5% and can detect more than 1 object in 1 frame so that the IP Camera function is in accordance with the design in real-time. Tested the object of 3 pairs of twin faces produces a maximum accuracy of 90% where the level of match between the faces and the data is appropriate.

Abstract

Natural disasters are events caused by nature, including earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, droughts, hurricanes, and landslides. Natural disasters can cause telecommunications infrastructure to become damaged or malfunction. Therefore, flexible network technology is needed and does not depend on infrastructure, so that when the existing infrastructure is not functioning, humans can still communicate. One of the network technologies that is flexible and has infrastructureless characteristics, or basically does not require infrastructure, is Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET) technology. So that MANET technology becomes an option that can be a solution to existing problems, namely when a natural disaster occurs and the existing telecommunications infrastructure doesn't function. In the MANET network to communicate data between nodes that are far apart, it takes hops to a node in order to communicate, when a node is selected as a hop, the node will automatically act as a router node, the role of the router node is as a successor or communication liaison from a node to other nodes. In a router node, the parameters that are considered are CPU usage and RAM usage, because with increasing communication the router will process more data so it will take time to process the data, this will cause delay process. In this study, the performance of router nodes on Babel and OLSR will be discussed on the performance of router nodes on a fixed network with a stationary, moving and swapping node testing scheme. The parameters used in this study are CPU usage, RAM usage, and delay process.

Abstract

Quadcopter is a type of UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) which is currently developing and very useful in various fields. With four motors as the main propulsion, the quadcopter has the ability to maneuver, take-off and land vertically in places that have limited space. However, in an autonomous system, the quadcopter is still difficult to operate, one of which is to keep it stable, when in a position where there is minimal GPS signal. Therefore, in this study, we will use the Blob detection method that uses the OpenCV library to determine the landing place and is assisted by an optical flow sensor, aiming to catch roll, pitch and yaw motions. The results of this study indicate that the accuracy of the lidar sensor as a height sensor with an accuracy of 82.16 % is more accurate above 30 cm, the results of distance accuracy for image processing successfully detect up to a height of 600 cm with a light intensity value of around 50-70 lux. optical flow, light intensity and altitude distance greatly affect the motion produced by the quadcopter, but it can still move stably at a minimum value of light intensity of approximately 300 lux at an altitude of 300 cm.

Abstract

Network security is important to maintain security on a network, the data and information contained in it. Based on the protection of data/information security in a network, generally all data-based security theories are created and applied to secure a particular network. Network security methods that have emerged such as using IDS (intrusion detection system), Intrusion Detection System (IDS) or intruder detection system are computer systems (can be a combination of software and hardware) that attempt to detect intrusions. At this time DOS attacks or software that occur to the general public in the form of (browsers, files, videos or images) that often occur with the aim that the server or network is unable to accommodate the traffic, causing the website/service down and cannot operate. Therefore, to assist in these attacks, it is necessary to apply blocking IP and PORT by using blocking so as to be able to add research on network protection in the internet world.
