Abstract

Peranan polen trap dari bahan bahan plastik dan logam terhadappeningkatan produksi tepung sari lebah adalah salah satu teknologi yang belumterungkap secara rinci dan perlu diamati agar produksi perlebahan dapatditingkatkan secara pasti. Tujuan penelitian adalah pertama untuk mengetahuijumlah tepung sari yang dipanen oleh lebah pekerja, kedua untuk mengetahuijumlah lebah pekerja yang memanen polen per menit dan ketiga untukmenentukan bahan polen trap yang terbaik. Metode yang dipergunakan adalahmetode percobaan. Variable yang diukur adalah 1). berat polen, 2). jumlah lebahpekerja yang membawa polen perhari permenit.Hasil percobaan menunjukkan bahwa polen trap yang terbuat dari plastikdan logam masing-masing menghasilkan polen sebanyak 5,13 + 1,942 g/menitdan 13,56 + 2,128 g/menit. Adapun jumlah lebah yang memanen polen adalah7,85 + 2,063 ekor.dan 12,933 + 2.504 ekor. Polen trap yang dapat digunakanuntuk memanen tepung dapat dibuat dari plastik maupun logam.Berdasarkan uraian di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan polentrap plastik maupun logam adalah sama. Saran pertama adalah pembuatan polentrap sebaiknya dicari plastik warna gelap atau diberi warna terlebih dahulusebelum digunakan, sedangkan yang dari logam disarankan lubang masukan lebahharus halus.Kata kunci: lebah, polen trap, plastik, logamTHE ROLE OF POLLEN TRAP OF PLASTICAL SYNTHETIC ANDMETAL TO INCREASE BEE POLLEN PRODUCTAbstractThe role of pollen trap of plastical synthetic and metal materials toincrease bee pollen product is one of technology which not yet been expressed indetail and require to perceive to bee production can be improved surely. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tempe kedelai dan polen dalam bentuk pasta terhadap pertumbuhan anakan lebah pekerja meliputi pertambahan panjang larva, pertambahan panjang pupa dan pertambahan diameter abdomen pupa. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dipakai untuk mengetahui persentase tempe kedelai dan polen dalam bentuk pasta yang optimal terhadap pertumbuhan anakan lebah pekerja meliputi pertambahan panjang larva, pertambahan panjang pupa dan pertambahan diameter abdomen pupa. Materi penelitian adalah lebah madu apis mellifera dari peternakan di Desa Cendoro, Kecamatan Dawar Blandong, Kabupaten Mojokerto, sebanyak 96 anakan lebah pekerja yang berupa larva yang berumur 2 hari dan yang berumur 5 hari serta pupa yang berumur 4 hari dan 11 hari. Metode penelitian adalah eksperimen/percobaan dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari enam perlakuan dan empat kelompok. Data dianalisis dengan analisis ragam dan dilanjutkan dengan Uji Jarak Berganda Duncan jika terdapat perbedaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengaruh masing-masing perlakuan terhadap pertambahan panjang larva maupun pupa sangat berbeda nyata (P<0,01), sedangkan variabel pertambahan diameter abdomen pupa tidak berbeda nyata (P>0,05). Hasil uji jarak Duncan untuk variabel pertambahan panjang larva ternyata pengaruh P0, P1, P2, P4 dan P5 tidak berbeda nyata, tetapi kelima perlakuan tersebut berbeda nyata dengan P3. Penulis menyarankan melakukan penelitian serupa namun menggunakan jenis kacang yang berbeda untuk mengetahui pengaruhnya terhadap anakan lebah pekerja.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan EM4 dengan konsentrasi yang berbeda dan lama pengomposan untuk mencapai kualitas pupuk organik sesuai dengan SNI, meliputi kadar air, C-Organik, nitrogen, fosfor, kalium dan C/N rasio. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode percobaan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola faktorial dengan 2 faktor, faktor 1 adalah level konsentrasi EM4 sebanyak 0,1%, 0,2%, 0,3%, 0,4% dan 0,5%,sedangkan faktor 2 adalah lama waktu pengomposan yaitu 7 Hari dan  14 Hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan terbaik yaitu pada konsentrasi EM4 0,3% dan lama pengomposan 7 hari. Untuk interaksi penggunaan EM4 dan lama pengomposan berbeda nyata secara signifikan dan pupuk organik sudah memenuhi standar kriteria SNI 7763:2018, meliputi kadar air, C-Organik, nitrogen, fosfor, kalium dan C/N rasio. Sehingga feses kambing dan daun paitan (Tithonia diversifolia) dapat digunakan sebagai pupuk organik.

Abstract

The purposes of this study were to analyze: 1) the constitution and characteristics of sludge, solid sludge and sludge flour derived from Biogas Unit (BGU); 2) the influence of organic sludge liquid on the percentage of organic and crude protein content of the BGU organic sludge (BGUOS). The methods used in the study were observation and randomized controlled trial experiments. Data derived from field study were analyzed descriptively while data derived from experiments were analyzed using variance analysis. Differences were shown using the smallest significance-p test with CI 95%. The results showed that organic sludge constitution were odious, the organic sludge was clotting after drying process. In addition it became powder as soft as bran after dried, powdered and brooded. The experiment showed that the composition of BGUOS liquid gave influence to the amount of organic content and crude protein in the powder constitution of BGUOS. The fifth treatment brought the optimum percentage of the organic content and crude protein. The research concluded that BGUOS constitution was detestable in its form of sludge, however it could be transformed into bran constitution by drying and brooding treatment. The optimum amount of organic content and crude protein of BGUOS bran were gained by using 5th treatment. The research suggest it is necessary to maintain BGUOS on the basis of local technology and to study the application of BGUOS solid powder or bran as fish and livestock feed. Keywords: Solid Biogas Unit Organic Sludge (Solid BGUOS), CP

Abstract

Organic Sludge Biogas Unit (OSBGU) is a product that was generally less noticed by the owner. Filtering solids and liquids of OSBGU would be very helpful for feedstuffs and fertilizer plants. Giving aeration and silica in the fluid of OSBGU as long ripening treatment with 1, 2, 3, 4 and 7 days was expected to transform the liquid into a better liquid fertilizer of OSBGU. The results showed that the effect of treatment, fermentation time and the interaction among them on the content of liquid OSBGU manure on pH, organic C, N total, C/N ratio, and organic matter was highly significant (P<0.01), except for total N did not have differences (P>0.05). The study concluded that the role of aeration and the addition of silica and long ripening and their interaction was very influential on the content of liquid OSBGU manure on pH, organic C, C/N ratio and organic ingredients, except the N total. The study suggested to use aeration and if necessary by adding silica and fermentation time until on day 7 to improve the content of liquid OSBGU manure.   Keywords: organic sludge biogas unit, pH, organic C, total N, C/N ratio, material organic, fermentation time

Abstract

Organic sludge biogas unit (OSBGU) is an organic product that is generally overlooked by the owner. Giving aeration and silica as treatment with longer curing 1, 2, 3, 4 and 7 days for prospective OSBGU liquid fertilizer is expected to change the percentage of the nutrient content of liquid manure OSBGU candidates become better liquid fertilizer. The results showed that the effect of treatment, curing time and the interaction between the percentage of liquid manure nutrient content OSBGU on posphor (P), potassium (K), sodium (Na) and calcium (Ca) was significantly different. Conclusion: The role of aeration and the addition of silica as well as their interactions and their long ripening turns very significant effect on the percentage of the nutrient content of liquid fertilizer OSBGU. Suggestion: to make the aeration and the addition of silica to the fermentation time to increase the percentage of liquid manure nutrient content OSBGU should use aeration and if necessary by adding silica and brooded until on day 7

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the morphological characters and morphometric measurements of worker level from the genus and species of stingless bee colonies in coastal areas. Observation of morphological characters and morphometric measurements used a microscope (stereo model Nikon C-LEEDS equipped with obtilab viewers software camera and image raster). The stingless bee species found in coastal areas belonged to the genus Tetragonula which consisted of Tetragonula sapiens and T. clypearis. T. sapiens was found in two locations, namely the coast of Airlow Hamlet and Negeri Rutong. T. clypearis was found in four locations, i.e., on the coast of Dusun Airlow, Negeri Rutong, Negeri Hukurila and Dusun Seri. Morphological identification was done by identifying ten morphological characters, and morphometric identification was done by measuring fourteen body parts. The results of this study indicated that the morphological and morphometric characters of T. sapiens workers were dominantly black in color with a body size of 3.74-4.25 mm. The first through the sixth abdomen tergites were black. The morphological and morphometric characters T. clypearis had a brownish black body color with a body size of 2.81-3.38 mm, a black thorax covered by six longitudinal hair bands and each separated by five conspicuous glabrous, the first and second abdomen tergites were brownish whereas the third through the sixth were black. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan karakter morfologi dan pengukuran morfometrik strata pekerja dari genus dan spesies lebah tak bersengat koloni daerah pesisir. Pengamatan karakter morfologi dan pengukuran morfometrik menggunakan mikroskop (stereo model Nikon C-LEEDS yang dilengkapi kamera software obtilab viewers dan image raster). Spesies lebah tak bersengat yang ditemukan di daerah pesisir pantai tergolong dalam genus Tetragonula yang terdiri dari Tetragonula sapiens dan T. clypearis. T. sapiens ditemukan di dua lokasi yaitu pesisir pantai Dusun Airlow dan Negeri Rutong. T. clypearis ditemukan di empat lokasi, yaitu di pesisir pantai Dusun Airlow, Negeri Rutong, Negeri Hukurila dan Dusun Seri. Identifikasi morfologi dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi sepuluh karakter morfologi dan identifikasi morfometrik dilakukan dengan cara mengukur empat belas bagian tubuh. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan karakter morfologi dan morfometrik tubuh pekerja T. sapiens dominan berwarna hitam dengan ukuran tubuh 3.74-4.25 mm. Abdomen dan tergite satu sampai enam berwarna hitam. Karakter morfologi dan morfometrik T. clypearis memiliki warna tubuh hitam kecoklatan dengan ukuran tubuh 2.81-3.38 mm, thorax berwarna hitam yang ditutupi oleh enam hair bands longitudinal dan masing-masing dipisahkan oleh lima glabrous yang mencolok, abdomen dan tergite pertama sampai kedua berwarna kecoklatan sedangkan tergite ketiga sampai enam berwarna hitam. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the adsorbents of marble powder and manure rock of laying hens on the percentage of bio-gas content, and to determine the optimization of the adsorbent treatment of manure rock of laying hens and marble powder in producing the percentage of bio-gas content and reducing the amount of bio-gas content other than CH4. The research material used was chicken manure rock and marble powder. The research method used was an experiment with RAL (completely randomized design), which consisted of 4 treatments and 4 replications. The treatment is without using adsorbents; 100% laying hen manure rock; 100% marble powder; and 50% marble powder + 50% manure rock laying hens. The variables observed in this study include the volume and time required for methane gas to flow through the adsorbent, the time required for methane gas to pass through the adsorbent to the gas-holding balloon as a sample, and the gas content in methane gas before purification, the percentage levels of CO2, CH4, O2, and N2. The results showed that the use of marble powder and manure rock adsorbents for laying hens on the percentage of biogas content gave no significant difference (P > 0.05) to the percentages of CH4, O2, and N2 gases, but gave a significant difference (P <0.05 ) to the percentage of CO2 gas of 11.33% was found in the P2 treatment which used 100% marble powder adsorbent. P2 treatment was able to reduce CO2 levels by 59.70%. It can be concluded that the greater the CH4, the better the calorific value and is inversely proportional to CO2.

Abstract

Violet Pet Clinic & Shop is a place to day care and care for pets such as cats which is located at Jalan Borobudur No.11, Mojolangu, Kec. Lowokwaru, Malang City, East Java Province. At Violet Pet Clinic & Shop, it provides various facilities including grooming, day care, doctor consultation, and ultrasound. The type of research carried out includes the type of development research, which functions to produce certain products and test product effectiveness. Equipment testing results show good performance. The tools developed can be a solution to problems at Violet Pet Shop & Clinic. The temperature sensor has an average reading error of 0.88 percent with an accuracy percentage of 99.12 percent, the ESP32 camera can capture images properly. In one of the control systems, feeding in large quantities with a feed dose weighing 150g can only provide 4 times of feed with a delay of 10 seconds.

Abstract

The food filling system in raising chickens is still relying on human power. Breeders must regularly check on everything in the cage.  In addition, if the farmer forgets to check it will be fatal and will affect chicken production. The research method will be carried out by monitoring feeding, drinking, vitamins and cleaning cages when ammonia gas is detected which increases above 50. Where in previous studies it was still done manually. Automatic control will be carried out using a microcontroller as the command brain and processing sensor data on the system. Where the trigger for cleaning is based on the ammonia level, while for feed it is based on the volume of the place to feed and drink. The weight sensor has an accuracy rate of 99.9% while the range is 99.13%. For the measurement of chicken manure ammonia gas can be done with a reading accuracy level of 99.69%. After using this system, the value of weight and gas content of Ammonia decreases from the first day to the third day. From the 3-day test, the highest value of ammonia gas content was obtained at a value of 197.56 ppm with a weight of 9.8 grams. The lowest was obtained on the third day with ammonia gas content of 18.37 ppm with a weight of 2.1 grams. For network quality, the system has an average delay of 0.07580 seconds and the packet loss obtained when testing is 6.11% (Very Good).
