Abstract

The current billing system can only be done at the cashier by relying on human resources. So that it can increase the number of queues when consumers increase and purchase more than one product. Longer queues can waste time and energy so that it can reduce customer satisfaction. The billing process that can only be done at the cashier can also be an obstacle for customers in knowing the total bill when shopping. This can trigger an over budget so that customers have to increase their expenses. This research proposes an automatic billing system on a smart cart that can support the billing process, especially reading the total bill in real time. This system uses a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) passive label attached to each product as a unique identification code. In the shopping cart there is an RFID reader that functions to read the label. The products that have been added to the cart will be displayed on the application intended for customers and the web server for the cashier. Information on the website includes product name, price per product unit, product quantity, and total bill.

Abstract

The orientation of local cattle farms generally only aims to take cow's milk, so local farmers do not have bulls and only have female cows to milk them. If a cow gives birth to a bull, the bull will be sold. This creates a separate problem for these farms because without a bull, the female cows cannot be fertilized naturally and can only be fertilized through artificial insemination so that the number of cows on the farm does not decrease and run out. However, this artificial insemination can only be given when a cow is in heat and cannot be done at any time. However, there are many ordinary dairy farmers in Indonesia who often lack knowledge about the signs of cow lust, making them run out of time for cow lust. Therefore, a device is made that can monitor the heat condition of cows on farms by using an infrared temperature sensor that is connected via the internet network and can be accessed via a smartphone, which can be monitored anytime and anywhere to help cattle breeders. The results of the implementation show that the performance of the infrared temperature sensor is very good because the measurement results are quite accurate because the accuracy level reaches 99.529 percent. The performance of the color sensor is also very good because it can detect colors accurately. The average delay obtained is 1.0175975 seconds. Meanwhile, the packet loss value obtained during the test was 16.11%.

Abstract

Establishing the five obligatory prayers is a necessity that Muslims must undertake. Problems often occur in people with memory problems, such as the elderly. Obstacles that often occur include forgetting the rak'ah and difficulty remembering the next pose to be performed. New technologies continue to emerge including digital imagery. Digital imagery can be used to help with these problems by utilizing pose detection using the MediaPipe library. MediaPipe is used to determine body parts visibility and joint angles captured by the webcam to detect performed pose. By detecting the pose, the output is then generated in an LED Matrix display namely the rak'ah and pose. The results of this study showed that the percentage of success in identifying ruku’ is 93.73%, i’tidal is 94.12%, sujud is 92.55%, first tahiyah is 89.17%, final tahiyah is 82%, with the highest percentage of 98.04% in standing pose. The pose detection success percentages based on the distance between the performer and the webcam are from 150cm is 91.88% success percentage, at 200cm success percentage is 92.42%, and at a distance of 250cm is 93.75%, with the highest success percentage at the distance of 250cm. The system average delay for detecting poses is 1.028 seconds.

Abstract

In the current era of 4.0 technology, there are many quadcopter applications for testing and usability in life) to monitor the surrounding environment while operating and navigate through the GCS depending on the purpose made. Therefore, the operation of the drone is controlled directly by the operator through certain communication networks such as remote control or automatically through devices that have been previously programmed. This is necessary in order to make it easier to move the drone and monitoring can be done through operator directions or image processing. Image Processing in the form of a QR Code that can provide directions to the drone so that navigation can run smoothly. Research using how the camera detects QR Code will give directions to the drone to navigate to make movements following the QR Code directions in a sequence of numbers so that the final result in the form of video can be viewed via GCS and camera via IP CAM. The results of this study indicate that the drone can detect QR Code and opencv also successfully translates pixels is a distance of 5 meters and navigating based on pixel size with more than 100 pixels, the drone can move automatically to a certain destination. With a distance of 1 meter, it produces 100 pixels on the x-axis and 108 pixels on the y-axis, while for the furthest distance from the QR Code, which is 5 meters, it produces 50 pixels on the x-axis and 80 pixels on the y-axis.

Abstract

The service queue system at motor vehicle repair shops in Malang city is still manual, customers must find the nearest repair shop and visit the repair shop then queue for service without knowing the queue information. With a system like that, it will be difficult and take a long time for customers who want to do service. For this reason, we need an application to search for the nearest motor vehicle repair shop based on maps based on LBS (Location Based Service) and a motor vehicle service queue information system using a web server and applications with the Android operating system. The application of the location-based service concept to the workshop queuing information system application can be used to provide location-based information services. Customers will use an application that displays workshop information and the number of service queues according to what is input by the workshop admin. The result of this research is workshop queue information system application can be used to find out the user's location and the location of the nearest special vehicle repair shop around the user. From the experimental results, it is found that the web and application can work well.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an energy capture system, specifically an antenna rectifier. The chosen antenna for this purpose is a microstrip antenna operating at a frequency of 2.4 GHz, utilizing a 2x4 array configuration to enhance the collection of electromagnetic waves emitted by an Access Point. To enhance the rectifier's voltage-doubling capability, the design incorporates three distinct levels: level 8, level 12, and level 14. Experimental results from implementing the 2x4 rectangular H-Slot array microstrip antenna rectifier demonstrate its capacity to convert incoming AC waves from the antenna into DC voltage. During the implementation phase, the rectenna harvesting system exhibits notable outcomes. The most significant outcome is observed in the 14th-level rectifier circuit, yielding a conversion of 101.98 mV when positioned 50 cm away from the wireless source or access point. This voltage reading diminishes to 49.148 mV at 200 cm. In the 12th-level rectifier circuit, the values are 64.8 mV at 50 cm and 39.08 mV at 200 cm. Furthermore, the 8th level circuit generates 24.72 mV at 50 cm and 11.4 mV at 200 cm. Evidently, the proximity of the testing distance correlates with the magnitude of the produced voltage.

Abstract

Quadcopter is an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) that uses 4 motors arranged crosswise as a propulsion system. The quadcopter's capabilities are supported by a main component called the flight controller or control system. The operation of this unmanned aircraft is controlled automatically through a program run from the GCS (Ground Control Station) so that the quadcopter can fly according to the desired destination. The control system is needed to maintain the balance of the quadcopter while flying and maneuvering to remain stable. PID (Proposional Integral Derivative) method as a counterweight when manoeuvring on the y-axis (pitch) and x-axis (roll) and Kalman Filter as processing the resulting sensor output. The results of this study show that setting the value for the proportional constant (Kp), integral constant (Ki) and derivative constant (Kd) determines the quadcopter can fly or maneuver well. The gain values used are Kp of 0.135, Ki of 0.135 and Kd of 0.003. However, the output generated by the gyroscope in pitch and roll still has noise caused by the vibration of the mover during flight and maneuvering. So the Kalman filter is needed to find out the value that is close to the actual output of the gyroscope.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed many areas of life. One of the consequences is that the learning zone causes reduced mobility and limited face-to-face meetings. State Polytechnic of Malang in overcoming face-to-face learning, especially practical learning in the AI ??Building, of course, many students, not only have the need for practical lectures. The research that the author is doing here is a field research using a quantitative approach. This research was conducted at the AI Building of the State Polytechnic of Malang. In collecting the data needed the author uses observation techniques. Discussion used data analysis methods. The results of the research for the RSSI pattern with the transmit power set at 18dBm lora and the antenna frequency used at 433MHz obtained the RSSI value. At a distance of 2m to 8m there is a decrease in RSSI starting from -57dBm to -80dBm, continuing from a distance of 8m to 42m there is an ups and downs in RSSI. The throughput result is strongly influenced by the value of bytes and the time the throughput value when done twice scanning is smaller than four times scanning because the scanning processes have different times, this is in accordance with the calculation formula.
