Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of workload and burnout on employee work effectiveness. It employs a quantitative method with data collection through questionnaires. The research methodology involves data collection through questionnaires distributed to 120 employees of PT ABC in Gresik City. The sampling technique employed is saturation sampling, involving all employees of PT ABC in Gresik City. Regression analysis is utilized to test the relationship between workload and burnout variables on employee work effectiveness. The results of this study indicate a significant relationship between workload and burnout and employee work effectiveness. The higher the workload borne by employees, the higher the likelihood of experiencing burnout, which ultimately has a negative impact on their work effectiveness

Abstract

Processing of liquid waste needs to be done before the waste is suitable for disposal into the environment, so it does not pollute the environment. The purpose of wastewater treatment is to reduce BOD and COD levels, mixed particles, and kill pathogenic organisms. In addition, wastewater treatment also aims to remove nutrients, toxic components and materials that cannot be decomposed. In handling liquid waste, there are many ways and methods that can be used to treat the liquid waste properly. PT. XYZ uses a Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), which is an installation specially designed to treat industrial waste water. Physical, chemical and biological processes are applied to the WWTP. This paper aims to review these processes in the WWTP used. PT. XYZ is a manufacturing company engaged in the food sector, which produces ice cream products with various variants and flavors. But besides producing products with good quality, PT. XYZ is also able to process its waste properly. PT. XYZ there are two kinds of solid waste and liquid waste

Abstract

The digitization of the store industry has become an increasingly important trend in today's digital era, and internet marketing orientation and innovation are considered key factors in achieving competitive advantage in a digital environment. This study aims to analyze the role of internet marketing orientation and innovation in digitizing the shop industry and its impact on marketing performance. This study used a quantitative analysis method using primary data collected through a survey of shop owners and managers in Waru District, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java. The research sample consists of 50 shops that have carried out the digitization process. Sampling used accidental sampling which was then analyzed with multiple linear regression. The results of the analysis show that internet marketing orientation and innovation have a significant positive effect on marketing performance in the digitalization of the tavern industry. More specifically, the effective use of social media and e-commerce platforms increases the visibility and accessibility of stores, thereby increasing the number of customers and sales volume. In addition, product and process innovation in store digitization can increase differentiation and operational efficiency, which in turn affects customer satisfaction and business profits.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of environmental knowledge, quality of accessibility, attractiveness, and social media on the intention to return to an Eco Green Park tourist destination. The type of data used is primary data which is quantitative in nature. Primary data was obtained from distributing questionnaires to tourists visiting Eco Green Park. Respondents amounted to 100 people. The collected data were analyzed using statistical methods such as multiple linear regression. The results showed that environmental knowledge and accessibility quality had a significant effect on the intention to return. Understanding of the environment and good accessibility experiences can influence tourists' perceptions of destinations. For the next result, attractiveness has a significant effect on the intention to visit again. The last shows significant results between social media and intention to revisit, because information and reviews spread on social media platforms can influence tourist perceptions and decisions.

Abstract

Utilization of mandarin orange peel waste as an adsorbent for methylene blue  dye is carried out to minimize methylene blue contamination. The research was conducted by using spike method samples then analyte was adsorbed. This research aims to make an adsorbent with chemical activation, which has a particle size of 100 mesh, and the quality of the adsorbent based on SNI 06-3730-199 to determine the optimum time and weight required to adsorb methylene blue. This research use Freundlich isotherm data processing and analysis of variance ANOVA. Making adsorbent is done by cleaning, then drying in an oven at a temperature of 150˚C, then put into the furnace with a temperature of 600˚C, then continued the process of testing the quality of the adsorbent based on SNI 06-3730-199. The adsorbent based on parameters contained in SNI 06-3730-1995, including 9,13% for water content, 7,26% for ash content, and 959,2 mg/g for absorption of iodine. These results have met the requirements. The optimum weight from the research is 1,5 grams, and the optimum time required for the adsorbent to absorb the analyte is 90 minutes. The efficiency of the adsorbent for absorbing methylene blue at optimum weight and interaction time is 98,93%.

Abstract

The extent of critical and potential critical land in the Kambaniru watershed has encouraged community perceptions where management of land and forests in the watershed-based area of community empowerment is an important effort. To be able to achieve a good Kambaniru watershed condition, the behavior and activities of land and forest utilization by the community must comply with the principles of soil and water conservation. High population growth rate and followed by pressure on land has the potential to create new social problems in the form of poverty. On the other hand, the large potential of people who are willing to provide hydrological environmental services in watershed areas can be used as government investment. Therefore, opportunities for community participation need to be managed through an incentive approach through a cost-sharing mechanism. The overall objective of this study is to formulate a cost-sharing regression model of hydrological environmental services; to analyze the value of hydrological benefits for households at the upstream level in the Kambaniru watershed area, and assess the condition of community poverty levels based on pressure on land in the Kambaniru watershed area. This study concludes the formulation of the cost-sharing regression model of hydrological environmental services in the Kambaniru watershed area can explain the condition of the amount of water use and water requirements for households. The condition of population poverty is triggered by high pressure and dependence on land and forests. The recommendation is that farmer household should be given hydrological benefit compensation and lending without interest.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has the largest geothermal potential in the world because it is in the ring of fire. Indonesia's geothermal energy reserves are 29,4 GW. However, until 2022, geothermal installed capacity in Indonesia is only around 2,175 GW, which is still far from its true potential. Geothermal energy development is needed for Indonesia to empower sustainable energy systems, so as to achieve the target of 3,1 GW based on the 2017 RUEN. To achieve the RUEN target, better development is needed through the role of the oil and gas industry. Geothermal development is seen as a complex dynamic system, with complex challenges to achieve this goal. This paper aims to understand the complexities of geothermal energy development. For this purpose, this paper analyzes geothermal development with a holistic and systematic approach using the conceptual stage of the system dynamics approach. The conceptual model shows that there are many factors that underlie the development ofgeothermal energy in Indonesia.
