Abstract

Morindacitrifolia is a medicinal plant has been long used as traditional medicine and food ingredients. The plant bioactivity as a drug is related to its secondary metabolites. The writing of the article is based on a review to scientific published online or offline of the journals and books. In the Indonesian homegarden, the MC most found and cultivated as traditional medicinal. The fruit of MC has been commercialized as a health drink, but the anthraquinone content used as an indicator its security. The bioactivity of MC is antioxidant, anti-cancer, anti-microbial, anti-cancer, immunomodulatory, increasing central nervous system activity, anti-psychotic, antihepatitic and hepatoprotective. The 6-O- (b-D-glucopyranosyl) -1-O-octanoyl-b-D-glucopyranose and asperulosidic acid have anti-cancer activity, while pheophorbide a and pyropheophorbide a have anti-hepatitis activity.

Abstract

Bogor Regency is one of the Jakarta’s buffer cities that able to provide alternative tourism locations for the citizen of the capital and surrounding areas. Ciasmara Village is one of the tourism villages located in Bogor Regency. The main problem encountered by tourism in Ciasmara Village is the lack of promotion and limited infrastructure. These two problems are the biggest factors that hinder the tourism potential of Ciasmara village from being optimally managed. The purpose of this community service activity is to optimize tourism potential through the information and communication technology. Furthermore, the other purpose is to support the behavior shifting of the youth organization in terms of utilizing information and communication technology for the benefit of Ciasmara Tourism village promotion. The method used in this community service activity was discussion and direct training to Ciasmara Village's youth organization. The objective of this community service is Ciasmara Village's youth organization. In the beginning, the target amount of the training participants was at least 20 young people, because there were only 20 active members of the youth organization. In its implementation, this activity was attended by 31-35 participants, indicating that this community service was enticing for Ciasmara village's youths. Through interviews with the head of the youth organizations and the participants, they acknowledged that they were interested in participating in this activity because they felt they had a responsibility to develop village promotions, some of the youth said that they had social media and could promote their area for free. From interviews with several participants and village officials, it was found that this community service activity was able to motivate them to study photography more seriously and utilize social media for the promotion of rural tourism. This can be recognized from the development of official Instagram social media account owned by Ciasmara Village which is indeed focused on promoting tourism and governance in Ciasmara village.

Abstract

Simulation-optimization inventory models are widely used in inventory management studies, including for perishable good. A good inventory management is required to save inventory cost. We use simulation approach to take into consideration of uncertain demand and lead time to obtain a better result of optimal order quantity that minimizes inventory cost. Simulation result shows that simulation-optimization models generates lower total inventory cost. The simulation provides information of objectives in inventory management: (1) how much to order and (2) when to order with minimum cost which gives valuable information in business decision making.

Abstract

Ciomas Rahayu Village, Bogor Regency is an area with populated densely. Knowledge of the benefits and making of Yoghurt for moms of family welfare coaching is very important. Because Yoghurt has been shown to improve the body's immune system and overcome lactose intolerance. The purpose of this program was provide counseling and accompanying about the making of yoghurt for the family as well as explanation of the benefits of yoghurt if consumed.  Activity method was practice in making yoghurt from basic ingredients of milk and were given starter to be fermented by moms of family welfare coaching Ciomas Rahayu Village Bogor Regency on 30 people cadres. Milk was fermented  in a bottle is done for 2 x 24 hours at a temperature of  37oC-42oC. Fermentation results were  added sugar  expected can make the family business knowledge. Evaluation of Yoghurt production results done that moms can make yoghurt well so that result satisfactory. To do business need existence of cooperation with other party funding. Outcome of this activity was the increasing understanding and skill of partner of Ciomas Rahayu Village, Bogor Regency in making Yoghurt and increasing family business skill.

Abstract

Educational game is a game that raises local wisdom in which there are values of local wisdom that can be remembered and implemented by users in everyday life. in this educational game made in accordance with the rules needed in the world of education. starting from the elements of game design and techniques used in making games. This application was built using MDLC (Multimedia Development Live Cycle) combined with FSM (Finite State Machine) so that this educational game is very easy to understand and understand by users, especially millennial generation. after the socialization to the millennial generation there was an increase in understanding of the local wisdom of Bogor, especially the Kujang and the batik of Bogor.

Abstract

The role of the teacher is needed to help students in the learning process so that the material can be understood optimally. A teacher is not just teaching in front of the class, but must be able to inspire students. The process of implementing learning in the 2013 curriculum requires the ability of teachers in the IT field, especially in making learning media easy and interesting because learning in the 2013 curriculum consists of observing, asking, reasoning, trying and communicating. The assessment conducted in the 2013 curriculum includes three domains, namely affective, cognitive, and psychomotor. The purpose of community service is to provide assistance in making media powtoon learning in the thematic 2013 curriculum learning for class V of the Cluster 1 Elementary School in Bogor City. This assistance gets a positive response as evidenced by the enthusiasm of the teacher in following from beginning to finish. Although this mentoring training is different from usual, using online media or webinars because of Covid-19. When giving material about the introduction of the Powtoon program, the teachers learned a lot, because this program was a new program. The enthusiasm and readiness of the teachers signifies motivation to foster student activity in learning.
