Abstract

Technology in the 21st century is valid in human social life. Almost all people all over the world use technology to complete their needs. Using the WhatsApp application on mobile phones or social media connected with a network of students in SMA Xaverius Ambon is more beneficial. This research focuses on the actual condition related to the impact of WhatsApp in EFL classes on The learning performance of second-grade students of SMA Negeri Xaverius Ambon. The researcher used a survey design to find the results of the students in the EFL Classroom perspective in using WhatsApp on students' learning performance. Fifty students' perspective answers from class A and class B of the second grade of SMA Negeri Xaverius Ambon were interviewed, and 50 questionnaires were given to students in the classroom. This research maintained that harmful purpose impacts the student's learning performance more. This research revealed that WhatsApp can be used to communicate easier and faster, providing specific and practical information and sharing knowledge among students; instead, it is acquired negatively on the performance of SMA Xaverius Ambon students. The findings of this research can be beneficial to SMA Xaverius EFL students and classroom teachers in developing WhatsApp in the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

Soil is vital as a construction material and load support in civil engineering building work. The aim of stabilization itself is to increase the bearing strength of the soil by increasing soil cohesion and friction angles in the soil and maintaining good soil bearing strength so that it does not experience a decrease due to the influence of weather and air. Based on the Unified classification system, it is included in the OH classification or what is usually called clay soil with high organic plasticity, while based on the ASSHTO classification, the soil in Pancoran Village, Glagah District, Banyuwangi Regency is included in group A-7-5(25). The addition of Holcim Cement to clay soil from the Pancoran Village area, Glagah District, Banyuwangi Regency in the Direct Shear test obtained the most significant value in the 8.5% mixture with a curing time of 9 days for the ? value, namely ? = 19.8 ? from ? = 11.6 ? in the original soil or there was an increase amounted to 41.41% and for the c value, namely c = 9.75 kg/cm2 from c = 1.6 kg/cm2 in the original soil or an increase of 83.59%. The carrying capacity of soil tends to be greater after mixing cement additives. The maximum soil bearing capacity occurs when mixing 8.5% cement with nine days of curing, namely 66,458 t/m2 from 4,696 t/m2 of the original soil capacity or 92.93% for the Terzaghi method. Meanwhile, for the Meyerhoff Method, the maximum soil bearing capacity occurs when mixing 8.5% cement with nine days of curing, namely 92,696 t/m2 from 7,526 t/m2 of the original soil permit carrying capacity of 91.88%.

Abstract

The traffic jam that occurred in the city of Bojonegoro on the Rajekwesi – MT road section. Haryono, the leading cause of problems in the area, is at intersections and meetings with railroad tracks. Building a flyover is one solution to congestion that occurs at railroad crossings. An economic feasibility study must be carried out to assess the characteristics of a development project. This study aims to determine how much profit and costs are obtained and the extent of its economic feasibility. The project that will be examined in this study is the construction of a flyover in Bojonegoro district. Then, the feasibility of the Flyover construction project is based on the calculation of Net Present Value (NPV), Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR), and Internal Rate of Return (IRR). The results of this economic feasibility analysis There are three alternative route selection that are associated with economic feasibility where the first alternative with NPV: 2,121,743,718,000, BCR: 12.7499 and IRR: 57 then the second alternative with NPV value: 1,733,795,057,000, BCR: 10.3771, IRR: 50% and the third alternative with an NPV value: 1,395,424,941,000, BCR: 6,978 and IRR: 37%. Based on the economic feasibility analysis using process hierarchy analysis, the first alternative was chosen with a score of 0.571. With the construction of the flyover, it is hoped that it can break up the flow of traffic on the Bojonegoro - Cepu - Nganjuk section to encourage economic growth, trade, and regional development in the Bojonegoro district.

Abstract

“Metaverse” is the idea of a shared virtual environment that is “parallelized” to the real world thanks to advances in technology. The metaverse world is currently not only used as a platform for playing games but has also been used as a place for doing business. The purpose of this research is to identify articles that study the metaverse in marketing and provide an overview of the Metaverse knowledge domain as a new marketing world and to show and explain the research mapping. This mapping will help researchers explore and develop research related to the metaverse as a new marketing world landscape. Marketing is a promotional activity that can attract consumers to increase sales. Metaverse is a virtual universe that imitates real world procedures. In this 3D virtual environment, users can carry out activities in the digital world like in the real world, as is done with the Gucci brand which uses the metaverse as a marketing medium based on blockchain TheSandbox. This will have a major impact on how companies implement marketing in the future and how people communicate with each other. In Industry 5.0, metaverse has entered the world of marketing and has begun to be used by several companies. So, metaverse becomes a new world in marketing. This research uses qualitative methods with bibliometric techniques by utilizing Visualization of Similarities (Vosviewers) as an application. By entering keywords such as Metaverse; Metaverse marketing; Digital Marketing; New Marketing Universe; Gen z to search for articles via Publish or Perish with a total of 940 articles which were then processed using VosViewers. The results of the analysis found scientific mapping and possible future studies regarding the metaverse as a new marketing world that can be used as variable recommendations for future researchers as a reference for subsequent articles.

Abstract

Indonesia is an earthquake-prone area; to reduce the risk of disasters, it is necessary to construct earthquake-resistant buildings. The concept of earthquake-resistant buildings attempts to make all structural elements into a unified whole that is not easily collapsed by an earthquake. In general, the planning of the structure of an apartment is made of a prototype whose structure is calculated to be earthquake-resistant. However, not all flats are built in earthquake-prone areas. One is in Central Borneo Province, which is not prone to earthquakes. The research aims to determine the comparison of the dimensions and reinforcement requirements on the prototype with Kriteria  Desain  Struktur (KDS) 'BC' Structural Design Criteria compared to structural planning in the Central Borneo Seismic Mitigation Area. Design standards refer to SNI 1727:2013, SNI 2847:2013, SNI 2847-2019, and SNI 1726-2019. The building being studied is the Type 36 Prototype Flat (5 floors) using concrete fc' 22.8 MPa and reinforcing steel my 420 MPa. Research on Columns and Beams' superstructure includes the design of the structural dimensions and reinforcement requirements. Structural dimensions and reinforcement area will be designed efficiently and declared safe by controlling the reinforcement ratio(p). Structural dimensional limitations. Structural calculation analysis using the  ETABS computer application.
