<![CDATA[Community Radio (CR) in Indonesia has emerged as a media that able to disseminate information to audience. Since this function can not be fullfiled by both private and public radios, CR is important for audience especially for those who lives in remote or even blank spot area. However, Government regulation on CR is feared to deprive the existence of CR. The regulation ranging from limitation of frequency allocation, criteria on coverage area and limited emmitance strength compare to public and private radios. This imply that the Government has never supported the existence of Community Radio. Government and Indonesia Broadcasting Commistion (KPI), as the powerful bodies, ought to reevaluate broadcasting regulation especially on Community Radio. Reformulation on the regulation is needed to maximilize the function of CR in Indonesia as independent media and to support democratization in the broadcasting system in Indonesia.]]>

<![CDATA[This study examines the development of photographic technology that facilitates the development of the phenomenon of social climbing by highlighting the hyperreality of social media, thereby resulting in the emergence of a new identity for social climbers. Photography technology has evolved over time. Digital technology has created instant technology that makes it easy for camera users to operate cameras with automatic adjustment features, therefore the technology industry is constantly looking for ways to develop and make smartphones. Smartphones integrate image and communication technology into one device, making it easier for users to communicate. This smart phone supports online access to social media because of its features that can be connected to the internet. So anyone can share their photography using this tool and also social media. social media makes it easy for everyone to access information including personal activities that are shared, so that phenomena that are often referred to as social climbing phenomena are phenomena marked by social media users who are competing to improve their social status on online social media. The phenomenon of social climbing makes someone create a new identity for themselves on social media. Creating a life that is exaggerated from its original reality or also called hyperreality. This study aims to provide education related to the use of photography and social media, so that people do not fall into the phenomenon of false identities in social media.]]>

<![CDATA[The sense of nationalism is very important for the young generation of Indonesia to be able to become a developed nation, a modern nation, a nation that is safe, and peaceful, just and prosperous in the midst of globalization that increasingly challenges the Indonesian state. As a nation and country in the midst of other nations in the world, it requires a high nationalism identity of citizens, especially among the young generation of Indonesia. The spirit of nationalism is still needed by the existence of the Indonesian nation and state. High nationalism from citizens or the younger generation will make positive and best behavior for the nation and state. In the current era of globalization there are several trends of depletion of the spirit of nationalism among the younger generation. This can be seen from a number of benchmarks, namely the lack of appreciation of the younger generation of Indonesian native culture, patterns and lifestyles of Westernized teenagers, and so on. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to have an intensive and continuous movement in the world of education related to the planting of a sense of nationalism towards students from elementary to tertiary levels that must be done by teachers and lecturers by respecting and being proud of indigenous Indonesian culture. In this paper the author tries to explain the circumstances and facts about the development of nationalism through library studies.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini berlokasi di tempat Pariwisata Bukit Mangunan. Alasan penelitian ini dilakukan adalah karena peneliti melihat kehadiran Pariwisata Bukit Mangunan telah membawa perubahan terhadap masyarakat di sekitar lokasi wisata. Perubahan yang terlihat antara lain adalah perubahan pada status sosial masyarakat. Antara lain terhadap tingkat ekonomi, tingkat pendidikan dan aspekaspek lain. Dengan penelitian ini, penelitian ingin mendiskripsikan dengan lebih jelas dan valid seperti apa proses perubahan itu terjadi dan aspek apa saja yang berubah dari keberadaan Pariwisata Bukit Mangunan ini terhadap masyarakat. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode penelitian deskriptif Kualitatif. Pengambilan data dilakukan secara acak dari unsur Snow Ball. Metode ini dipilih karena pelaku Wisata di daerah Pariwisata Bukit Mangunan memiliki 16 lokasi titik Wisata dan dipilih 8 lokasi sebagai tempat penelitian. Hasil yang diperoleh pada perubahan status sosial ekonomi terjadi perubahan yang cukup berdampak. Untuk dampak positif yang ditingkatkan oleh Pariwisata Bukit Mangunan dari penelitian ini masih terus dalam proses peningkatan yang diinginkan oleh masyarakat. Pengelolaan Pariwisata Bukit Mangunan dilakukan oleh Pokdarwis, yang memberikan dampak positif bagi kesejahteraan masyarakat di sekitar kawasan wisata. Dengan adanya kegiatan pariwisata tersebut membuka peluang usaha bagi masyarakat untuk meningkatkan status sosial ekonomi mereka. Pemanfaatan sumber daya alam dan sumber daya manusia yang ada, menjadikan Pariwisata Bukit Mangunan salah satu tujuan wisata yang banyak dinikmati saat ini. Sebagai pusat pendidikan di Indonesia, tentunya banyak masyarakat dari seluruh wilayah yang datang ke Yogyakarta. Beberapa tahun terakhir, Yogyakarta menerima hasul survey menjadi kota 10 besar yang intoleran. Hal ini berpengaruh terhadap citra yang dimiliki oleh kota ini. <![CDATA[Negara dengan sistem demokrasi yang biasanya menitikberatkan pada kebebasan, paling sedikit memiliki 2 (dua) unsur kebebasan yang secara umum digambarkan, yaitu kebebasan berekspresi dan kebebasan pers. Kebebasan pers di negara demokrasi dapat dijadikan sebagai indikator untuk mengukur demokratis tidaknya suatu negara. Jurnalis sebagai elemen terpenting dalam pers atau media seringkali menghadapi berbagai bentuk kekerasan yang dilakukan oleh berbagai elemen masyarakat, salah satunya adalah polisi. Kekerasan terhadap jurnalis oleh polisi kerap terjadi saat jurnalis meliput demonstrasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan kepustakaan yang bertujuan untuk melihat bentuk dan dasar dari kebebasan pers di Indonesia, serta mengidentifikasi tindakan kekerasan yang dialami jurnalis oleh oknum pihak kepolisian saat meliput aksi demonstrasi yang terjadi di Jakarta dalam kurun waktu 2019-2020. ]]>

<![CDATA[The issue of drug abuse or drug use is still a problem that is quite concerning for the Indonesian people until now. Indonesia is the right target for drug traffickers because of its large population and a large number of young people. This is a big challenge for the government to overcome this problem, through the institution, namely the National Narcotics Agency. This research was conducted with the aim to finding out what steps have been taken by the National Narcotics Agency to overcoming the problem of drug use, especially in Yogyakarta. This research used descriptive research methods that try to obtain facts and provides an overview of events and phenomena in people's lives to describe what is currently applicable. In overcoming the problem of drug abuse, especially in Yogyakarta, the Yogyakarta Provincial National Narcotics Agency has taken several steps, including increasing knowledge, give understanding and awareness of drug use. Take preventive measures and carry out advocacy. In carrying out its duties, BNNP DIY also always collaborates with other institutions, such as government agencies, private agencies, educational institutions and the community.]]>

<![CDATA[Pemberitaan kekerasan seksual pada perempuan dalam Koran Merapi menempatkan posisi laki-laki menjadi subjek sedangkan perempuan menjadi objek, sehingga membentuk posisi yang timpang antara laki-laki dan perempuan. Posisi dominan laki-laki ini yang membuat pemberitaan masih terasa bias gender. Bordieu melihat fenomena ini sebagai kekerasan simbolik, kekerasan yang halus, tak kasat mata. Penelititan ini berupaya untuk melihat bagaiamana wacana kekerasan simbolik dalam pemberitaan kekerasan seksual pada perempuan di Koran Merapi. Untuk mengetahuinya penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis wacana kritis yang membedah jalinan teks, kognisi, dan sosial pada Koran Merapi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa wacana kekerasan simbolik yang terdapat pada pemberitaan Koran Merapi meliputi, objektivikasi seksual pada perempuan, perempuan sebagai penyebab kekerasan seksual, perempuan harus mematuhi kehendak laki-laki, melestarikan mitos “suci†pada perempuan, dan ketidak seriusan dalam memandang esensi kekerasan seksual.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to conduct a SWOT study in the development of Pulesari Tourism Village, Turi District, Sleman Regency. A qualitative descriptive approach is used to get a complete picture of Pulesari Tourism Village. Primary and secondary research data obtained through interviews, documentation, observation and FGD. The results showed that the development of Pulesari Tourism Village based on SWOT was very much needed. The results of the SWOT study conducted can provide the right strategic direction in the development of the Pulesari Tourism Village. Some of the superior strategies offered: (1) efforts to increase the economic value of zalacca by providing training to process zalacca fruits into various foods and drinks, packaging and marketing them; (2) presenting periodic local traditions as a tourist attraction; (3) increase the number of homestays and increase their eligibility standards as a tourist attraction; (4) Developing distinctive tourism icons that are different from other tourist villages with a choice of distinctive icons "Pulesari Tourism Village: cultural tourism village and outbound river tracking"; and (5) building networks with government agencies and the private sector to get assistance, training and assistance in the procurement and improvement of tourist support facilities as well as improving access to tourist village access roads. Following up on the offer of a number of these strategies, the Pulesari Tourism Village Manager needs to: 1) conduct further studies of the strategies that have been offered through a forum with the tourism village manager to determine the priority scale of the strategy chosen. 2) formulate coordination steps and establish intense communication with various parties, both with the Wonokerto Village Government, Sleman Regency Government through the Department of Tourism, other parties such as companies to obtain budget support as well as training, assistance and facilitation for the development of Pulesari Tourism Village.]]>
