Abstract

The property industry in Indonesia is experiencing rapid development along with improving economic conditions, causing consumers to face difficulties in choosing a house that suits their preferences. Various factors such as price, location, facilities, and payment methods often make decisions complex.The Fuzzy Multi Attribute Decision Making (FMADM) method is used to determine and evaluate the best options based on the degree of suitability of all criteria, with ranking carried out using the defuzzy method. The results of this study are expected to provide practical solutions for consumers in choosing a house that suits their needs and improve the quality of property developer services in Indonesia. The author's test results show that 72% of users feel helped by this solution method.

Abstract

The research aims to design an automatic cooling jacket based on the Internet of Things (smart jacket) that can be used when riding motorbikes, including online motorcycle taxis. The methods used in this research include user needs analysis, system design, prototypes, and fan speed performance testing. In the user needs analysis stage, a survey was conducted among motorcyclists to identify problems faced when riding in hot weather conditions. Next, a system design consisting of a temperature sensor and an IoT communication module was carried out. After designing the system, an automatic cooling jacket prototype was developed. This prototype is equipped with a temperature sensor that will detect the rider's body temperature level, and an IoT communication module to allow users to control the jacket via an application on a smartphone. The results of this research show that an IoT-based automatic cooling jacket can effectively reduce the body temperature of motorcyclists when riding in hot weather. In speed performance testing, this jacket succeeded in reducing the rider's body temperature efficiently. This research is expected to contribute to the development of wearable technology that can increase comfort and safety for motorcyclists. Apart from that, this research can also be the basis for developing IoT-based automatic cooling jacket products that can be mass-produced and sold on the market.

Abstract

Along with the modern Indonesian society's need for electricity consumption, the level of electricity consumption continues to increase. Electricity consumption among postpaid PLN customers with single-phase connections is often poorly regulated due to inadequate monitoring of power usage and frequent payment delays between the 1st and 20th of each month. This study involved the development of a monitoring device designed to track power usage for single-phase PLN customers. Additionally, an electricity circuit breaker was created that can be controlled remotely via the officer's smartphone. This monitoring system uses PZEM-0004T as the sensor. The voltage, current, power and energy data will be read by the sensor and then sent by the ESP8266 to the Internet of Things (IoT) based Blynk Website. This breaker tool uses a relay as an electrical circuit breaker on the customer side. With this tool, it is possible to reduce illegal use of PLN electricity and reduce the number of arrears in customer electricity bill payments to PLN.

Abstract

Sprout cultivation is one of the practical and economical methods to obtain a type of food rich in nutrients. However, the success of sprout cultivation requires proper control of soil moisture and water pH in the cultivation environment. Watering begins when the moisture of the mung bean plant reaches the specified parameters with a soil moisture of 67 and a pH value of + 9. This tool aims to make manual work easier to automate, a benefit in watering sprout plants. This tool uses a water ph sensor and a soil moisture sensor or soil moisture sensor that functions as a soil moisture detector that will send commands to the Arduino uno to turn on the relay so that the water pump can automatically water according to the needs of the soil. The creation of this final project is carried out by designing, making and implementing system components which include Arduino uno as a controller, relay to turn on the water pump and turn off the water pump, LCD (linquit Crystal Display) to display the soil moisture value and water ph value. The results of the research value prove that the tools to be made can function properly and can be developed as expected.

Abstract

This research develops a prototype of a lamp setting system in a chicken incubator using DHT11 and Arduino Uno R3 sensors. The purpose of this system is to control the temperature and humidity inside the incubator automatically to create optimal conditions for hatching chicken eggs. The DHT11 sensor serves to measure temperature and humidity, while the Arduino Uno R3 is used as a microcontroller that processes data and regulates the heating lamp. This system works by comparing the sensor measurement results with a set setpoint value. If the temperature or humidity is outside the desired limits, the Arduino will turn the heating light on or off to return the ambient conditions to the optimal range. Tests show that this system is effective in maintaining the appropriate temperature and humidity, thus increasing the success rate of hatching chicken eggs. The results of this study show that the prototype developed can be a practical and efficient solution for the process of hatching chicken eggs.

Abstract

The development of science and technology, especially in the fields of Electronics and Informatics, is expected to enhance room or home security systems, particularly home door security systems. Many door security technologies have been developed to prevent and ensure the comfort of homeowners when they leave their homes. Some commonly used door security systems include CCTV cameras, fingerprint sensors, voice sensors, and RFID. However, with technological advancements, these security systems have shown vulnerabilities, such as frequent errors in fingerprint and voice sensors. Based on this, to create a more secure and innovative home door security system, the authors developed a security system with face detection and a remote warning notification system using Telegram. The researchers created a door security system using the ESP 32-CAM for face detection and as a controller for the Internet of Things (IoT) system. Additionally, a manual system using a keypad for password input was also created. The results of this study include the accuracy and speed of face recognition and the speed of sending security system warning information through the Telegram application.

Abstract

Air conditioners are among the technologies that have been increasingly common, as time has gone on, from personal comfort to room comfort. A multi-story building is one location that requires air conditioning. This is because the structure's air pressure will rise until a certain level, making the temperature too low, so air conditioning is necessary to maintain a comfortable temperature. Similarly, in tropical areas where the temperature exceeds what is reasonably comfortable. However, the current air conditioner technology has the potential to harm the environment. Since Freon, which is used in it, can pass through the ozone layer. Eventually, global warming will happen and the world will get hotter. The SHT21 sensor is the kind of sensor that will be utilized in this final project since it has strong and steady chemical resistance over time and uses the I2C interface. This type of sensor is also capable of being utilized as a calibrated ambient temperature sensor, with a digital output form already comprised. This sensor will enable us to create a PID system with feedback that monitors the temperature produced by the Peltier module along with reacting to controlled PID by delivering PWM into the driver, then subsequently transmits the signal to the Peltier module for monitoring. When the duty cycle is 100 percent or the PWM value is set to 255, the Peltier module generates a 12-volt voltage at its best. When duty cycle 0 percent or PWM value 0 is selected, the module stops functioning. It is anticipated that this system will advance toward a Freon-free air conditioning system.

Abstract

Traditional authentication methods, primarily relying on passwords, face several critical challenges. Users often choose weak passwords, reuse them across multiple platforms, or struggle to remember complex combinations, leading to potential security vulnerabilities. As cybersecurity threats continue to evolve, traditional password-based authentication mechanisms have proven increasingly vulnerable to various attacks. Face detection-based login systems have emerged as a promising alternative, offering a balance between security and user convenience. This paper provides a detailed examination of implementing face detection-based login systems, focusing on using Python programming language. The research highlights both the advantages and potential vulnerabilities of such systems while proposing mitigation strategies for enhanced security.

Abstract

Motor speed control can be done using PID. Through the PID tuning process on the Simatic PCS 7 PLC, the values ​​Kp = 6, Ki = 45 and Kd = 8 were obtained as parameters for regulating the rotation speed of the pump motor. PID tuning was previously carried out in Matlab by entering the transfer function equation of the pump motor and then obtaining the constant values ​​Kp = 4, Ki = 12 and Kd = 16 through the PID tuning process. The performance of motor speed control using PID (PLC Simatic PCS 7) is not up to target, this is because the PID tuning process takes place simultaneously with the operation of the PLC as the main controller of the production process.

Abstract

Abstract- Supervision of children is an important thing to do for the development of behaviour and child safety. The existence of cases around such as after school not going straight home, skipping school to play online games, even in the mass media there are cases of elementary school children who do not go home immediately. in the mass media there are cases of elementary school children who died from drowning while playing. This can cause parents to worry about their children. On the other hand, the space for parents to supervise children directly is limited due to their activities such as taking care of the house or working, so there is an alternative to make a tracking device or GPS Tracker with the concept of the Internet of Things (IoT) that can solve the problem. The manufacturing method includes three stages, namely the design stage, the testing stage, and data analysis stage in order to produce the expected tool. The results of this research are first, GPS Tracker is built by three main components (Ardunino Nano, Ublox NEO-6M, and SIM800L). Second, the tool functions optimally when outside the room with percentage of error 0% and less than maximum when indoors with an error of 40%. room with 40% error. Third, the device is able to track position at various distances. Fourth, the tool has an average working endurance of 4 hours 26 minutes with a power source of 3.7 VDC 3500mAH battery.
