Abstract

Watershed (DAS) of the upstream part of Kali Brantas, especially the catchment areas for the conservation in the lower part has experienced a decrease in production, especially the area of ​​Batu City as an agropolitan city has grown in such a way from year to year, so its main function as the rainwater absorption area increasingly reduced. This is due to the changing conditions of water catchment areas into agricultural land and settlements. Changes in land use conditions lead to land degradation, which is potentially catastrophic: landslides, erosion, floods, droughts and reduced water source discharges. Damage to water resources can not be separated from environmental damage in the vicinity such as land damage, vegetation and population pressure. These three matters are interrelated in influencing the availability of water resources. Identification of critical lands by Geographic Information System (GIS) method is expected to obtain valid and valid results. Based on the problems described above, the proposed solution is Land Conservation by vegetation and mechanical means. In the first method with vegetation, there are two mechanisms used: root systems and organic materials condition the growth of organisms that naturally create bio pores, thus increasing the porosity of the soil. Thus the soil recharge capacity will increase. In the second method mechanical is by making terras perpendicular to the slope line so that inhibits the erosion, which can lead to slope slope and the loss of nutrients in the soil

Abstract

MEA era since 2016, the opportunities for the creative industry are widening. In the past 2 years, the creative economy has contributed approximately 7% of Indonesia's GDP. The business potential in the creative industry sector is still widely open to work by business people in Indonesia. Creative industry channels have many types. As one example of this is the knitted business that is now becoming popular, both among adults, adolescents and children. Partners in this PKM are Barkarajuta in Savira, Beji-Municipality of Batu Housing, and Omah Benthelan N & N Collection in Lowokwaru Sub-District Malang. Output targets are: (1) Increasing business productivity both in quality and quantity, by increasing production facilities, (2) Partners understanding and possessing skills and knowledge of accounting records, creative industry business, financial management, and operating accounting software, (3) Making simple accounting software, and (4) Publications to national scientific journals, mass media and IPR. The results of PKM activities provide a significant increase in both partners in the form of increasing the number of new products, product quantity, order quantity and product quality.

Abstract

The typical written batik from Malang has enormous potential for development. As a product included in the regional cultural wealth, affordable both nationally and internationally, it is a unique product desired by many domestic and global consumers. The writer has identified the needs of Wiggrade and Wisnu Batik SMEs in Malang for strengthening in the management and development of their business. At the same time, current developments of batik business are in need of rejuvenation and innovation in the production equipment. The problems encountered in the production area are the ineffective and inefficient production process, the low quantity and quality of products, and unsophisticated management, such as lack of capability in preparing bookkeeping records appropriate with the needs of the SMEs. The solution offered to the SMEs is the necessary technological transformation which includes: production aspects capable of efficiently increasing production, increased quantity and quality through the procurement of production tools, trainings to increase the quality and quantity of products, management governance through the preparation of bookkeeping systems appropriate with the needs of the batik SMEs (as the main support of the development of batik business), and training and mentoring in the application of the bookkeeping systems. The results achieved in this activity include the availability of adequate production tools, increase in the quality and quantity of products, availability of bookkeeping systems, and increased understanding in the importance of bookkeeping systems for activity partners.

Abstract

Along with the rapid development of the city of Batu to support tourist areas, there are growing culinary stalls, restaurants and hotels in the city of Batu. This opens up business opportunities for residents of Batu, one of which is by making salted eggs as snacks that can be processed with various creations by several stalls or restaurants, such as salted egg botok, salted egg gurami, fried salted sambal, salted egg sauce for various variations fish dishes, salted fried tofu and others. In addition, there are also many duck farmers in the city of rock, so the raw material in the form of duck eggs is very abundant. The problem faced by partners is the lack of available tools that support the production process, namely: (1) mixing bricks, salt and water powder, (2) gas stoves and pots for boiling salted eggs are still very limited, and (3) blenders for remove the grasak salt (4) where the eggs are cooked, (5) the bucket used is limited in capacity, (6) the table has limited capacity. In addition, in terms of management, partners lack understanding about financial reports and marketing management. The expected outcomes are community service reports, national-scale journals and print media. It is hoped that with the development of this business, it will help local communities to improve their opinions

Abstract

Samiler merupakan makanan tradisional yang berbahan dasar singkong yang dihaluskan dan diberi bumbu. Krupuk samiler sangat dekat dengan kehidupan masyarakat. Mitra 1, Kelompok produksi Samiler “Gurih-Enak” dan, Mitra 2, Kelompok produksi Samiler “Renyah-Enak” keduanya berada di Desa Kemasantani, Kecamatan Gondang Kabupaten Mojokerto. Permasalahan : Bidang Produksi : bagaimana : 1) meningkatkan kuantitas dan 2) meningkatkan kualitas produksi. Solusi pemecahan permasalahan : membuat rancang bangun teknologi tepat mesin pencetak samiler dan rak produksi,. Bidang Manajemen : bagaimana meningkatkan tatakelola keuangan dan administrasi. Solusi pemecahan permasalahan : penyediaan sarana prasarana, pendampingan dan pelatihan pembukuan dan adminsitrasi, rak penyimpanan produksi dan penyiapan penjadwalan pemesanan bahan baku. Kesimpulan ; Aspek produksi. Program pendampingan, mampu meningkatkan kebersihan dapur produksi, melakukan perawatan sarana produksi, memperhatikan adonan dan melakukan usaha diversifikasi produk. Aspek manajemen, melaksanakan arus kas pembukuan 20%, mengadakan rak penjemuran secara mandiri secara bertingkat, dapat melakukan perencanaan produksi dan meningkatkan keuntungan usaha sebesar 66 %. Aspek pemasaran, kemasan lebih variatif sebesar 200%, system pemasaran lebih beragam, mampu penggunaan sarana hand phone dan meningkatkan keterjangkauan produksi sejauh 40 km atau 66%.

Abstract

Kendalpayak Village, Pakisaji Subdistrict, Malang Regency is a strategic and potential village to be made into the Central Village of Chips. There are two PKM partners in this village, namely: (1) a partner of the cassava chips group "Cap Kunci", managed by Mr. Misbachul Munir 37 years and (2) business group partners "Kripset Si Iteng", managed by Mr. Opid 45 year. In line with the increasingly tight competition of UKM, there are obstacles faced by these business groups, such as: production, marketing and financial management. The solution given to partners for aspects of production is increasing the quantity and quality of products by making tastes better and more variants. Marketing is done with online media / market expansion and packaging that follows market trends. As for financial management problems, managerial and bookkeeping are well planned. It is expected that with this PKM program, both partners can increase production, innovate chips packaging design, expand marketing networks, manage finances independently and evaluate.

Abstract

The handling of garbage settlements in urban areas is largely still conventional, that is, with a waste-pick-up system. On the one hand, the quantity of waste generated is quite large, so this handling pattern has the potential to cause problems. One of them is the provision of advice and infrastructure. Most of the people in Tunjungsekar Village, especially RW 04, manage their waste with conventional and even individual patterns. Understanding of economic value and the value of other benefits is still uneven. While it is known that most of the waste can still be reused, one of which is organic waste. Where organic waste has the potential to be reused as compost. The method used in community service is counseling and assistance on the use of simple technology for the utilization of organic waste. The goal to be achieved is the occurrence of knowledge transfer in the utilization of organic waste. The work partners in community service are people in the RW 04 area, especially environmental cadres. The results of this activity were that the target community: (1) began to understand the value of organic waste use, (2) began to understand about the existence of simple technology for the utilization of organic waste, (3) began to understand the procedures for composting. The next hope is that the community can independently manage organic waste with a simple composting method.

Abstract

Donomulyo Subdistrict is one of the Districts in Malang Regency, it is more convenient to be close to quite famous tourism objects, namely Ngiyep Beach, Bajul Mati beach and Ngebros beach. This area has a population of almost 50%, which is poor and most of the people's livelihoods are planted on land that relies on rain. The partners in community service are 2 (two) micro-snack entrepreneurs whose production is processing bananas into banana chips, cassava chips, banana sake chips and processing various types of crackers and then spice them up and sell them in plastic packaging ready to be eaten. The production process of each partner still uses very simple equipment so that the increasing market opportunity still cannot be utilized maximally by micro entrepreneurs. The marketing area of ​​partner products is in schools and food stalls and in vegetable vendors who are traveling around the community every day, in shops in Malang City, and there are even people who sell online. It is hoped that the Community Entrepreneurship program will have an impact on the growing development of these micro-enterprises which can create greater employment opportunities so that they can absorb labor in the village, which the average population lives below the poverty line.

Abstract

The business of selling fresh flowers is a quite profitable business, because interest is needed for many events. Flower selling business problems include the fields of production, management and marketing. The solution to problem solving from priority scale is: Creating appropriate technology design in the form of adequate sales window. Manfaan and purpose of making this flower display or tool: able to maintain the freshness of flowers, slow down the fading color of flowers, able to maintain the original scent of flowers and minimize the level of damage and loss of interest due to wind. Conclusion in the production field. and the brightness of the flowers and the level of damage has decreased. The management field has had a positive impact on the fresh flower sales program. The marketing sector as a whole also has a positive impact on the fresh flower sales program.

Abstract

The socio-economic conditions of Kedungkandang Subdistrict especially Kedungkandang Sub-District and Buring Sub-District as relatively disadvantaged areas in Malang City become relevant as a target area to be developed into a more developed area of awareness about their education, health and environment as well as their social economy When agriculture is still the economic foundation of the community but still fails to improve welfare, efforts to increase added value for agricultural commodities are one of the solutions that need to be tried. Pineapple cultivation is chosen because these plants do not require intensive care and pineapple processed products in semi-finished and finished goods are common in the community so they can be marketed and increase family income.
