Abstract

The garbage retribution payment system in Kaligayam Village was still conducted manually, causing delays in reporting, data loss risks, and lack of transparency. This study aimed to analyse the existing garbage retribution information system and propose an efficient digital solution. The research employed direct observation, interviews with the leader of Neighborhood Association (RT), the BUMDes treasurer, and village officials, as well as literature review. Analysis was conducted using SWOT methodology and workflow mapping through Flow of Document. The results revealed that while the manual system benefited from strong social structure, it suffered from administrative inefficiencies. Therefore, a web-based system was recommended to enable automatic payment recording, real-time reporting, and improved accuracy and citizen participation in garbage retribution management.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the information system for scientific worktitle submission selection in the D3 Management Informatics Study Program at Digitech University. Based on observations, the title submission process is still carried out conventionally using Google Form and Microsoft Excel, which causes several problems such as title duplication, verification delays, and data tracking difficulties. This study uses observation, interview, and library research methods. SWOT analysis is conducted to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the current system. The results show that the conventional system is less efficient and needs to be immediately replaced by an integrated digital system that can improve the effectiveness of academic processes. The system recommendations provided are expected to support the institution's vision as a digital technology-based campus.

Abstract

Savings and Loan Cooperative (KSP) of Village Credit Agency (BKD) Kaligayam Unit plays an important role in supporting the rural economy through microfinance services, such as saving funds and providing loans. However, the administration system currently used is still manual and not integrated, resulting in various obstacles such as recording errors, late reporting, and the risk of data loss. This study aims to analyze the ongoing savings and loan information system, identify weaknesses in the administration process, and provide recommendations for designing a more effective and efficient digital system. The research methods used are direct observation, interviews with related parties, and literature studies. The results of the analysis show that system digitalization is needed to support service improvements, both in terms of recording accuracy, service speed, and customer data security. The proposed system will later be designed to be easy to use by officers, support automatic reporting, and have appropriate access rights settings. With the implementation of a computerized information system, it is hoped that cooperative management will become more modern, transparent, and able to compete with other financial institutions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang permasalahan pengelolaan surat masuk dan surat keluar di SMK YPE Nusantara Slawi yang masih dilakukan secara manual. Proses tersebut dinilai kurang efisien, rawan terjadi kehilangan arsip, dan memperlambat penyaluran surat kepada pihak terkait. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka untuk memperoleh informasi yang komprehensif terkait sistem administrasi surat yang sedang berjalan. Analisis dilakukan melalui survei terhadap sistem yang sedang berjalan, identifikasi kebutuhan informasi dari pihak terkait seperti admin, kepala sekolah, dan guru, serta analisis SWOT untuk menilai kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman dari sistem manual yang digunakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem manual menghambat efisiensi pencatatan dan penelusuran arsip, serta menimbulkan ketergantungan yang tinggi terhadap dokumen fisik. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan sistem informasi berbasis digital untuk meningkatkan efisiensi, keakuratan, dan keamanan data surat. Sistem digital ini juga diharapkan mampu mempercepat proses disposisi dan mendukung koordinasi antar staf secara lebih optimal.

Abstract

PT Tata Makmur Sejahtera is a textile company that since 2004 has grown rapidly in services and number of branches. Currently, stock management still uses Microsoft Excel and manual spreadsheets, which risks causing data input errors and is less efficient. To overcome these problems, a web-based inventory management system was developed using the Extreme Programming method to improve the efficiency and accuracy of stock management. The system is designed to be responsive, easy to use, and allows direct user testing for iterative UI/UX improvements. Through this system, the company has the ability to manage stock more systematically, prevent shortages or excess goods, and increase the effectiveness of warehouse operations.

Abstract

Digital transformation is driving the development of the culinary industry, including the cake and bread business. However, Dapur Bolu Ibu Kokom still uses a conventional ordering system that often leads to errors in recording orders and inefficiency of available stock. This research aims to design a web-based sponge cake ordering system to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Extreme Programming (XP) method is used to ensure the flexibility and responsiveness of the system by using javascript programming language and Unified Modeling Language system architecture design and blacbox testing system testing. The system features registration, login, ordering, stock checking, and delivery status. The results show that this system improves recording accuracy, speeds up ordering, and provides transparent stock and delivery information. Thus, the implementation of this system supports the digitalization of the culinary business and improves operational efficiency.

Abstract

Employee performance appraisal at PT Muawanah Al Ma'soem is still done manually, causing problems of efficiency, accuracy, and objectivity. This research is focused on designing a web-based information system used to assess employee performance, with the aim of increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the evaluation process. To produce an objective assessment based on a number of criteria, the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is used, while the Rapid Application Development (RAD) approach is applied to accelerate system development through an iterative process and the use of prototypes. The result of the research is a web-based system with features of employee data management, assessment criteria, and automatic ranking. Tests show that the system runs well and helps speed up the assessment process and improve the accuracy of the results. The system that has been developed is proven effective in accelerating the appraisal process while maintaining objectivity in employee performance evaluation.

Abstract

The rapid increase in scientific publications has created significant challenges for researchers in finding relevant literature. Conventional citation-based recommender applications often have drawbacks, such as bias toward popular articles and vulnerability to manipulation through citation cartels, which reduce objectivity. To address these limitations, this development aimed to design and develop a web-based scientific article recommendation application using a hybrid recommender system approach. The development followed the waterfall methodology, covering requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing stages. The hybrid approach combines Content-based filtering by analyzing content similarity and Collaborative filtering based on user interaction history. Scientific articles and user preferences were modeled in a graph database to map relationships, with the implementation of Graph Data Science Library using algorithms named K-Nearest Neighbor, Degree centrality, and PageRank.  Based on 101 black-box unit test cases, the application successfully delivered three main recommendation features by integrating content analysis—based on access history and currently viewed articles—with user preference modeling through peer institutions. The testing results confirm that all recommendation functions operated as intended across various user scenarios.  Overall, the developed application provides multiple recommendation features that enhance objectivity and relevance, supporting researchers, students, and practitioners in discovering

Abstract

The dissemination of job vacancies through online platforms still faces limitations in understanding the semantic relationships between the skills possessed by job seekers and the qualifications required by a job position. This mismatch results in an inefficient search process and longer search times. This study aims to develop a semantic-based job vacancy recommendation application (talent matching) using a skill ontology approach. One of the main challenges in developing the ontology is the lack of standardized data structures in job vacancy postings, particularly in the job description section. To address this issue, Named Entity Recognition (NER) techniques are applied to automatically extract skill entities from job description texts. The extracted results are then classified into a taxonomy structure using SkillsGPT, thereby forming a hierarchical skill concept model semantically represented within the ontology using Protégé. The matching process between user skills and job qualifications is conducted through semantic similarity calculations employing the Sánchez Similarity method. Job vacancy data are collected via web scraping, while system development follows the Rational Unified Process (RUP) methodology and is evaluated using Black Box testing. Evaluation results demonstrate that the developed system is capable of providing semantically relevant job vacancy recommendations according to the user's skill profile. Therefore, this study contributes both theoretically and practically to the development of ontology-based recommendation systems, particularly in the automated modeling of skill taxonomies from unstructured data.

Abstract

PT Selada Indonesia Produktif is an information technology company that also operates in the culinary industry through the Pempek Duo brand. In the operational business of the culinary sector, PT Selada has developed the Mireta Point of Sale (POS) system as a transactional and reporting tool. However, the existing system has not been equipped with a transaction history data analysis feature to predict sales trends. This condition makes it difficult for the company to identify which products are best-selling and which ones are less popular. This development aims to create a sales forecasting feature based on the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average with Exogenous Input (ARIMAX) method in the Mireta POS system. The ARIMAX model was chosen because it can incorporate external variables into the prediction calculations, in this case, holiday factors. The development was carried out using a waterfall approach which includes the stages of requirements analysis, system design, model implementation, and accuracy testing. The data used consists of the sales transaction history of Pempek Duo products from January 2022 to February 2023, which has been grouped by week, as well as holiday data as an external variable. The model evaluation results show that the best parameter combination is ARIMAX(1,0,2) with a Mean Absolute Error (MAE) value of 4.3333. This value indicates an average prediction error of 4 sales packages per week. With this feature, Mireta POS can provide more accurate sales predictions, making it easier for the company to identify the best-selling and least popular products.
