Abstract

This study aims to find out the improvement of the competence of grade 1, 2, and 3 teachers in the thematic learning model, find out what obstacles are faced by the teacher in applying thematic learning models, find out the responses of students in class to the application of thematic learning models, and know the effect of the workshop for teachers grade 1, 2, and 3. This type of research is the School Action Research (PTS). The subjects of this study were all teachers in grades 1, 2, and 3 of MI Negeri 1 Banyumas in the 2018/2019 Academic Year as many as 18 people. Data collection instruments used in this study were observation sheets, interview sheets, learning evaluation sheets for students, and teacher performance assessment rubric sheets. Data in this study were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of this study indicate that the workshop activities in increasing the competence of grade 1, 2, and 3 teachers in MI Negeri 1 Banyumas were successful and proven by student learning outcomes also increased to 70%.In addition, the teacher ’s response to this workshop was very good because it could share experiences and find solutions to learning problems together. The obstacle in this activity is the suggestion of infrastructure in the form of a thematic book that is lacking and often late in procurement.

Abstract

Becoming a professional teacher is not a smooth path, but there are many obstacles. For example, the relationship between fellow teachers and madrasah principals is more of a bureaucratic and administrative nature than in the ministry, so that it does not encourage the building of an atmosphere and a professional academic culture among teachers. The teachers are increasingly trapped away from professional principles. They are far from books, the habit of discussing, writing, let alone doing research. Therefore, according to Suparman (2006) improvement and improvement of teacher quality related to professional competence must apply throughout his career. The purpose of this action research is to determine the extent to which madrasah head coaching through the academic supervision of madrasah principals in improving teacher performance in the preparation of learning administration. In this school action research (PTS) is carried out in 3 cycles, from the results of the action taken is proven to improve teacher performance by achieving ideal standards. From 69.28% in cycle I, it can increase to 75% in cycle II, and cycle III to 87, 14%. The results of this action research indicate that coaching through the academic supervision of madrasah principals can improve teacher performance in the preparation of learning administration with completeness reaching 100%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in mastery of sociology subject matter in the competency standards of applying values and norms in the personality development process through the cooperative learning model of class X IPS2 students of SMA Negeri 1 Plaosan Magetani Regency in the 2018/2019 academic year. For this reason, the research used is PTK. with three cycles. Each cycle consists of four repeated steps, namely planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The results of this study are quite good because student learning outcomes have increased from the first cycle to the third cycle. Based on research data, the results of the third cycle can be seen that the average value is 75.74. Students who score> 65 are 32. All students in class X.IPS 2 have increased mastery of sociology subject matter in competency standards applying values and norms in the process of personality development.

Abstract

The media of sunda manda learning is the intermediary used by the teacher in delivering mathematics learning material of plane class II SD/MI by introducing the type and nature of the form of plane in a traditional game, which is applied Sundanese in the games of sunflower that contains of plane build component namely triangular, irregular hexagon, and square. By playing while learning hopefully students will be more enthusiastic in receiving learning materials and patents in the memory of students. The research methods used are qualitative research methods, and types of research actions. To obtain the research data, researchers use three data collection techniques: observation, interviews, documentation. Based on qualitative analysis results showed enthusiasm and interest in learning the flat build material with good student attitude and learning outcomes. The results of this research are important as a new study in finding mathematics learning Media on SD/MI flat build material.

Abstract

The teaching method used by the teacher in teaching and learning activities must be adjusted to the formulation of learning objectives. Teaching and learning activities require mental involvement and student work. The problems examined in this study are: (a) Can the application of a complete learning model improve student achievement in Islamic Religious Education subject matter? (b) How is the effect of the complete learning model in increasing the motivation to learn Islamic Religious Education? To improve student achievement and motivation in learning Islamic Religious Education, at SDN Donan 04 Kec. Central Cilacap, one of which is by applying a thorough learning model. By applying this learning method it is hoped that the achievement and motivation to learn Islamic Religious Education can increase. The objectives of this action research are: (a) Knowing the increase in learning achievement of Islamic Religious Education after the application of a complete learning model. (b) Knowing the effect of the complete learning model in increasing learning achievement and motivation on the subject matter of Islamic Religious Education. From the results of the analysis, it was found that student learning achievement had increased from cycle I to cycle III, namely, cycle I (66.67%), cycle II (75.56%), cycle III (86.67%). The conclusion of this study is that the complete learning model can have a positive effect on student achievement and learning motivation at SDN Donan 04 Kec. Central Cilacap 2017/2018 school year. This learning model can be used as an alternative to learning Islamic religious education.

Abstract

In Indonesia, English has become a common language in everyday life in various sectors such as economy, politics, tourism and others. There are four basic skills in English that must be mastered, namely reading, listening, writing and speaking. And what is no less important in English is the pronunciation of the word or pronunciation, because if the pronunciation is not correct, the meaning will be different from the actual meaning. Mispronunciation of words in English often occurs, as experienced by students of Class XI IPS 2 MAN I Banyumas. This research was conducted on 23 students of class XI IPS 2 with 9 male students and 14 female students. The research data were collected through observation, tests and field notes. Technically, the method used in this research is through English songs. The students were asked to listen to and say a few words in the English song lyrics correctly. The average of all aspects in cycle 1 was 78.70 and cycle 2 was 87.88. Based on this, the use of songs as a learning medium can improve pronunciation skills in English.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the teacher in delivering learning materials using only the lecture method. With this lecture method students do not experience direct learning but memorize. This study is intended to answer the following problems: 1) How can the learning process using audio-visual media with VCD increase the attention, activeness, and learning outcomes of students in learning Al-Qur ’an Hadith for grade III Semester 2 students of MI Salafiyah Kebarongan in the 2016/2017 academic year? This problem is discussed through classroom action research which is carried out in 2 cycles with each cycle of stages being planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The research data is obtained through classroom observations and documentation of the results of the actions taken as well as data about the description, with this action research it will be known that the increase or decrease after the classroom action is carried out per cycle. This study shows that: 1) Learning using audio- visual media can increase students’ attention in learning Al Qur ’an Hadith reaching 96.15%. 2) Learning using audio visual media can increase student activeness in learning Al Qur ’an Hadith which reaches 90%. 3) Learning using audio-visual media can improve student learning outcomes which is marked by the achievement of student learning completeness reaching 81, 92%.

Abstract

This study aims to reduce student tardiness by using self-management strategies. This shows that many students do not arrive on time. For this reason, the data is taken from the late events that occurred and then coached with a self-management strategy. From the data per cycle, it was found that each cycle of students experienced a decrease in tardiness. With the self-management strategy, student delays can be better reduced.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem of this research is (1) Can the school KKG training activities improve the ability of teachers to prepare lesson plans for teachers of SD Negeri Danawarih 03 for the 2018/2019 academic year? (2) How big is the increase in teacher competence in preparing RPP after participating in the KKG School training at SD Negeri Danawarih 03 for the 2018/2019 academic year? (3) Can the school KKG training activities change teacher behavior in compiling RPP at SD Negeri Danawarih 03 for the 2018/2019 academic year? This school action research was conducted for 6 months. The subjects of this study were 7 teachers of SD Negeri Danawarih 03. This study was designed with 2 cycles and each cycle consisting of 4 stages, namely planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The results showed that the ability to make mathematics teaching aids from cycle I to cycle II had a significant increase. The final result obtained from this study is that 100% of 7 SDN Danawarih 03 teachers have achieved the very good category in making lesson plans in accordance with process standards. Suggestions relating to this research, among others, are for teachers to have to master and understand how to make lesson plans that are in accordance with the rules, according to instructions, be creative and innovative so that learning is more interesting so that it has an impact on student achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes by using the inquiry approach to the concept of acid-base solutions. Therefore, this study uses classroom action research. The research subjects were XI-MIPA 5 students at SMAN 1 Kawedanan, Magetan. The data obtained are in the form of student cognitive learning outcomes and student and teacher activities. Data on cognitive learning outcomes were obtained from the final cycle test, while student activities were obtained from observation sheets and field notes. Sources of data in this activity are students in the learning process. Student learning outcomes showed an increase with an average value in the first cycle of 75.15 and the second cycle of 80.74. With the percentage of the number of students who reached the KKM in the first cycle of 67.65% and the second cycle of 85.29% with success indicators of 75% of students who reached the KKM.
