Abstract

Knowledge about clean and healthy life in children needs to be given early to shape behavior in everyday life. Knowledge about healthy living can be provided at school through various learning programs. This study aims to find the effectiveness of health promotion programs (JUMSIH) to increase children's knowledge about clean and healthy living. The research method is a pre-experimental one-shot case study design. The respondents of this study were 68 students aged 7-8 years. The results showed that the JUMSIH program can help children have knowledge about healthy living. Based on data analysis, n = 15 generally obtained scores above 2.6. It was concluded that healthy living skills are often performed by students such as hand washing, bathing, and toothbrush behavior which are basic skills for children to be able to live healthy lives. Suggestions for further research which is the development of various programs to increase awareness of clean and healthy living from an early age. Abstract

Perkembangan ilmu dan kemajuan teknologi memerlukan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas agar mampu bersaing dengan bangsa lain. Meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia merupakan tujuan setiap bangsa dalam menghadapi tantangan kemajuan zaman. Peningkatan mutu pendidikan menjadi salh satu factor yang sangat penting kaitannya dengan upaya meningkatkan sumber daya manusia. Pembelajaran kooperatif (cooperative learning) merupakan model pembelajaran yang di dalamnya siswa bekerja dalm kelompok-kelompok kecil untuk membantu satu sama lain dalam belajar dan dihargai atas prestasi kolektif mereka (Slavin 1995:2; Cruickshank, Bainer, dan Metcalf, 1995:205). Pembelajaran kooperatif bukan merupakan hal baru dalam pendidikan. Banyak metode pembelajaran kooperatif yang telah dikembangkan oleh para pakar. Sejalan dengan itu metode Jigsaw di Sekolah Menengah Pertama kiranya merupakan alternatif untuk memenuhi kebutuhan siswa, sehingga dapat mengoptimalkan kemampuan, penalaran, dan keterampilannya untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA. Dari pembatasan masalah di atas dapat dirumuskan permasalahan sebagai berikut. “Apakah dengan penerapan metode Jigsaw dapat meningkatkan kompetensi belajar khususnya dalam penguasaan konsep IPA?”Manfaat bagi sekolah, sebagai masukan dan dapat dikembangkan dalam pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran yang lain.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in mastery of sociology subject matter in the competency standards of applying values and norms in the personality development process through the cooperative learning model of class X IPS2 students of SMA Negeri 1 Plaosan Magetani Regency in the 2018/2019 academic year. For this reason, the research used is PTK. with three cycles. Each cycle consists of four repeated steps, namely planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The results of this study are quite good because student learning outcomes have increased from the first cycle to the third cycle. Based on research data, the results of the third cycle can be seen that the average value is 75.74. Students who score> 65 are 32. All students in class X.IPS 2 have increased mastery of sociology subject matter in competency standards applying values and norms in the process of personality development.

Abstract

This article focuses on research on the role of the Cheng Hoo Mosque in the multicultural da'wah movement in Makassar City and the challenges it faces. This study uses a qualitative method with a sociological and da'wah approach. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the existence of multicultural da'wah at the Cheng Hoo Mosque in Makassar City and the challenges it faces from aspects of identity, plurality, and puritanity. Data were collected through interviews, field observations, and documentation studies. The research findings show that the Cheng Hoo Mosque is a religious and cultural identity of the Chinese Muslim community in Makassar City. The challenge faced by multicultural da'wah is plurality, especially in the field of religion and religious puritanism which leads to division. The multicultural da'wah movement at Cheng Hoo Mosque is carried out with three approaches, namely non-mazhab mosques, mosques that are open to all groups, across cultures and religions, and acceptance and respect for local culture. Abstract

Kegiatan belajar dan pekerjaan yang memiliki tuntutan tugas yang harus diselesaikan dengan batas waktu yang relatif singkat. Berdampak pada berkurangnya intensitas waktu beristirahat yang dapat menimbulkan berbagai macam penyakit, meningkatnya stres seseorang yang dapat memicu kelebihan berat badan. 13,5% orang dewasa usia 18 Tahun keatas mengalami kelebihan berat badan, 28,7% mengalami Obesitas (IMT ≥ 25). Kapasitas VO2Max juga berpengaruh terhadap kinerja yang baik seseorang dalam menunjang setiap produktifitasnya dan seseorang memiliki kapasitas VO2Max yang berbeda-beda. Freeletics adalah olahraga yang menggunakan berat badan sebagai hambatannya. Melatih kekuatan otot dan daya tahan tubuh. Sifat gerakan yang intens membuat tubuh mampu membakar banyak kalori dalam tubuh. Komunitas olahraga Freeletics Kota Surabaya merupakan salah satu komunitas olahraga yang dapat memicu seseorang lebih tertarik untuk melakukan aktifitas olahraga, dapat menambah pertemanan, berpotensi meningkatkan hubungan kerjasama dalam suatu pekerjaan, dan dapat menghindari efek bosan dalam melakukan olahraga sendirian. Peneliti merumuskan penelitian pengembangan program latihan Freeletics terhadap indeks massa tubuh (IMT) dan VO2Max di komunitas Freeletics kota Surabaya. Metode penelitian menggunakan Metode Kuantitatif, dengan rancangan dukungan eksperimen Pre-Experiment dengan One Group Pretest-Posttest difungsikan pada suatu kumpulan tertentu. Berdasarkan klasifikasi sesuai Sampling Purposive yang memenuhi berjumlah 8 orang tergabung dalam 12 Weeks Program Batch 8. Beberapa uji analisis yang digunakan untuk mengolah data seperti uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji t. hasil dari pengolahan data uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji t sebagai berikut: (a) Uji Normalitas Pengolahan data: (1) Pretest dan Postest Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT) dengan skor Signifikasi 0.181 > 0,05 dan 0.402 > 0,05, sehingga berdasarkan uji normalitas data IMT mengasilkan distribusi normal. (2) Pretest dan Postest VO2Max dengan skor Signifikasi Pretest dan Postest VO2Max pada uji Kolmogorov-Smirnov 0.332>0,05 dan 0.263>0,05, sehingga berdasarkan uji normalitas data VO2Max mengasilkan distribusi normal; (b) Uji Homogenitas di dapat skor Signifikasi IMT dan VO2Max pada uji homogenitas sebesar 0.003<0,05, hasil data data bervariasi atau bersifat Heterogen; (c) Uji t diperoleh skor Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar (0.004 < dari 0.05), menunjukan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) lebih kecil nilai probabilitas 0,05 dan dapat disimpulkan ada pengaruh program latihan Freeletics terhadap indeks massa tubuh (IMT) dan VO2 Max.

Abstract

Abstract This study aimed to describe the integration of character education values and the feasibility of learning materials for character education values in the thematic textbook theme VII, "Events in Life," for class V students. This study was qualitative with a discourse analysis research design. The data sources in this study were the 7th-theme "Events in Life" of the thematic textbook for class V students at MIS Muhammadiyah Gowa. The instruments used were interview guidelines and data cards. Data processing and analysis techniques were carried out in three stages: data condensation, data presentation, data verification and conclusion drawing. The results showed that there were 14 values of character education in the thematic book, religious character values, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creativity, democratic, curiosity, national spirit, love for the homeland, friendly/communicative, peace-loving, fond of reading, social care, and responsibility. Three main things were found, which indicated that the book has the feasibility to be studied by students, namely: (1) increasing faith and piety, (2) character and mastery of science and technology, and (3) increasing sensitivity and concern.

Abstract

This service research aims to introduce scientific publications to participants in order to understand the form of scientific publications. Service research activities carried out by lecturers and students of the Mathematics Education Study Program in the form of socialization which took place face-to-face at the As'adiyah Sengkang Islamic Boarding School, involving 21 MTs / MAS As'adiyah Sengkang teachers. The data collection instrument uses a questionnaire through google form, then the data obtained is analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this service research are considered useful, especially in the personal and professional lives of participants, and after participating in the socialization, participants will conduct research and publications.

Desa Ngembat merupakan salah satu desa yang berada di Wilayah Kecamatan Gondang Kabupaten Mojokerto. Potensi alam wilayah desa Ngembat salah satunya penghasil petai. Petai adalah potensi lokal yang cukup banyak dan belum dimanfaatkan dengan baik oleh masyarakat desa Ngembat. Fokus kegiatan PPM adalah mengenai petai yang diolah menjadi olahan pangan berupa stik berbahan dasar petai untuk memberdayakan masyarakat terutama ibu-ibu kelompok PKK desa Ngembat. Pemanfaatn petai menjadi olahan stik bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan sumber daya alam yang menjadi sumber pendapatan bagi masyarakat desa Ngembat dan untuk memberikan inspirasi serta motivasi masyarakat desa Ngembat mengenai peluang wirausaha stik berbahan dasar petai yang memiliki nilai jual. Metode pelaksanaan program PPM berdasarkan pengamatan di lapangan (observasi) dan wawancara (interview) meliputi penyuluhan (sosialisasi) dan praktek langsung. Dampak dari kegiatan PPM diperoleh manfaat peningkatan pengetahuan ibu-ibu PKK desa Ngembat tentang potensi lokal petai menjadi olahan pangan berbahan dasar petai dan terampil dalam membuat olahan pangan berupa stik berbahan dasar petai. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh bahwa program olahan kekinian berupa stik berbahan dasar petai mendapat respon positif dari ibu-ibu PKK dan hasil olahan stik tersebut direncanakan dipasarkan melalui program wirausaha desa sebagai komoditas khas oleh-oleh desa Ngembat.
Optimizing the Role of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of NTB Province in Information and Communication Management for Nazhir Development and Empowerment of Waqf Assets Suharti

Abstract

In the execution of his responsibilities outlined in article 11 of Law No. 41 of 2004 concerning Waqf, the Nazhir sought guidance from the Minister and the Indonesian Waqf Board. The primary objective of this study is to examine the program and enhance the effectiveness of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion in the NTB Province by utilizing information and communication management to support the Nazhir and bolster waqf assets on Lombok Island. Employing a qualitative-descriptive research approach, data collection involved methods such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings of the study suggest that the coaching initiative conducted by the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs in the NTB Province, utilizing information and communication management to strengthen the capacity of Nazhir in enhancing waqf assets, has been structured in the form of various activities including training, counseling, workshops, orientation sessions, and similar endeavors. The guidance provided encompasses several aspects: 1) the enforcement of Law No. 41 of 2004 concerning Waqf; 2) enhancement of competencies for waqf managers (Nazhir); 3) the protection of waqf assets through legal means; 4) monitoring the implementation of waqf management; and 5) promoting community awareness about the significance of waqf assets within societal contexts. The coaching efforts conducted by the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion in the NTB Province align with its institutional functions, serving as a regulator, facilitator, motivator, and provider of public services. However, due to financial limitations, the effectiveness of the coaching program is perceived as suboptimal, evident in the significant number of Nazhir who have yet to benefit from the guidance provided by the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion in the NTB Province
