Abstract

Agroforestry or intercropping is a land use and management system by combining forest plants with agricultural crops or livestock with the aim of obtaining optimal and efficient results. Sremben Hamlet is one of the hamlets in Wulunggunung Village, Sawangan District, Magelang Regency which utilizes land as agricultural land. This study aims to determine the agroforestry system in agriculture and its contribution to the household income of the Sremben hamlet community. The method used in this study is the observation method in the Sremben Hamlet area regarding the land that uses the agroforestry system and the types of plants on that land. Land measurement is carried out to calculate the average area of land used. As for the total income data of farmers from agroforestry land, it was collected through interviews using the snow balling method. The results showed that there were 5 agricultural lands using the agroforestry system (intercropping) in Sremben Hamlet, Wulunggunung Village, Sawangan District, Magelang Regency. The agroforestry system contributes to the income of farmer households on only planted seasonal crops. For annual plant species, it is utilized from an ecological perspective and as a potential for future savings for personal needs. Abstract

Pitcher plants (Nepenthes sp.) grow well in the Sobleman Campground area located in the Wonolelo Resort area. Pitcher plants that grow at an altitude of 1,682 meters above sea level (the highest) with the lowest temperature of 22.8 and humidity of 83.5 Rh have the highest growth rate characterized by the highest number of pockets and long and branched plant stems so that they grow higher. Pitcher plants located at an altitude above 1,665 meters above sea level are also found flowering with brown flowers. It is also known from observations, the higher the location, the higher the level of solar irradiation because it is not blocked by the plant header. This study shows that altitude, temperature, humidity, and the level of solar irradiation will affect the growth of pitcher plants. This study aims to determine the growth of pitcher plants in terms of phenology and anthropological factors that influence it.

Abstract

Elephant grass (Pennisetum purpureum) is a grass plant commonly used by the community as animal feed such as cows, buffaloes, and goats. The utilization of this crop can be done in an agroforestry system where the plant (Pennisetum purpureum) is planted in the same land management as wood plants as is done in the utilization zone of Mount Merbabu National Park. The use of Elephant Grass plants (Pennisetum purpureum) in this system needs to be considered because it is carried out close to protected areas. Land area management affects crop yields and their interactions as a sustainability of the agroforestry system carried out. The results showed that the people of Sremben Hamlet have implemented an agroforestry system in their field crops in the form of agricultural commodities and animal feed. The purpose of this study was to determine the agroforestry system applied in the use of Elephant Grass (Pennisetum purpureum) and its benefits for the economy by the people of Sremben Hamlet, Wulunggunung Village.

The results showed that there were 22 types of orchids and one type of kantong semar plants found and cultivated. The cultivation technique used is the split technique (vegetative) and natural pollination (generative), which is the growth of flower seeds that fall on the planting media. Data collection was carried out using observation methods, interviews with officers in charge of demonstration plots, and literature studies. The purpose of this research is to find out the efforts made for the conservation of orchids and kantong semar plants in Wonolelo Resort. Abstract

Integral is one of the topics discussed in Basic Calculus course which is one of the courses taken by Informatics Students. Based on the problems experienced by students, related to the subject is in the Integral concept. In Basic Calculus lectures which have 2 credits and no practicum, it requires additional theory related to the use of software that can be used in understanding integral concepts. Therefore, this training provides training related to the use of computer technology in the form of Maple 18, which can be used to understand and complete the Integral concept. And after the training, the evaluation results show that the training process provides an understanding related to the use of Maple 18 to solve Integral concept problems. Thus, Informatics students not only understand the concept in theory manually, but also understand the Integral concept with the help of software, namely Maple 18.
