Abstract

Technological developments and the occurrence of social restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic have caused changes in various aspects of people's lives. This also has an impact on Hindu religious instructors in carrying out their duties as disseminators of dharma messages to sedharma people. The use of traditional methods in today's era cannot take place optimally. Therefore, the use of social media as a medium for Hindu religious education is very relevant. Apart from being easier to reach the public, relatively affordable costs and ease of conveying information are also positive things from the use of social media and Hindu religious instructors. The analytical method used in this study is literature study and document analysis related to the field of study, and describes it by means of interpretation and description analysis. In providing an analysis of the use of social media as a medium for counseling Hindu religion. The results and conclusions in this study are that in carrying out their duties, Hindu religious instructors have three important functions, namely: a) Informative and Educational Functions; b) Consultative Function; c) Advocative Function. Hindu religious instructors have six methods commonly used in spreading dharma teachings known as Sad Dharma, namely: a) Dharma Discourse; b) Dharma Tula; c) Dharma; d) Dharma Yatra; e) Dharma Sadhana; and f) Dharma Shanti. To answer the existing challenges and maximize the task of Hindu religious educators in the current era, social media is used as a means of disseminating dharma messages by Hindu religious educators, including: Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, and Tiktok.Keywords: Social Media, Hindu Religion Counseling

Abstract

Bali dikenal sebagai sebuah pulau yang menjadi destinasi pariwisata di dunia, hal ini dikarenakan oleh kekayaan budaya, adat istiadat, ritual dan alam pulau Bali yang begitu indah dan menawan bagi banyak wisatawan. Jauh sebelum Bali menjadi destinasi wisata, Bali adalah sebuah pulau yang bernafaskan budaya-budaya agraris, yang dimana para leluhur orang Bali telah menjalankan budaya tersebut selama turun temurun. Budaya agraris ini melahirkan begitu banyak bentuk ritual yang saat ini semakin memudar, salah satunya adalah lelakut. Lelakut sendiri adalah sebuah bentuk budaya agraris yang lahir dari ritual yang dilakukan oleh para petani padi, dimana lelakut tersebut berfungsi sebagai pelindung tanaman padi dari serangan hama burung dan hal-hal negatif lainnya. Saat ini keberadaan persawahan di beberapa wilayah di Bali semakin menurun, hal ini terjadi karena lahan persawahan banyak mengalami alih fungsi menjadi bangunan atau infrastruktur yang mendukung perkembangan industry pariwisata di Bali. Hal tersebut tentu saja berpengaruh besar terhadap keberadaan atau eksistensi dari bentuk-bentuk budaya agraris, yang dimana salah satunya adalah lelakut itu sendiri. Guna menangulangi hilangnya bentuk budaya agraris tersebut maka beberapa cara telah dilakukan salah satunya adalah dengan mengadakan lomba lelakut yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah kota Denpasar, hal ini bertujuan untuk mengembalikan keberadaan atau eksistensi dari lelakut dan juga bentuk-bentuk budaya agraris lainnya di Bali.Kata Kunci: Eksistensi, Lelakut, Budaya agraris, Konversi lahan

Abstract

The archaeological relationship with the community is very important, both in its management and utilization so that later it can be mutually beneficial. The existence of archaeological remains scattered in the Buleleng area indicates that long before there was a high civilization, thus on this occasion there will be a way of history and culture of Buleleng based on the existing archaeological remains. In this study there are several stages, namely data collection through observation and literature study, data processing with classification, data analysis with qualitative methods, and description of research results. The results of the study show that there are many archaeological remains scattered in the Buleleng area, the findings of the perimbas ax are the opening evidence of human life who inhabited Buleleng since the Pleistocene period. Along with the development of the human mindset, the activities of human life became increasingly complex, starting to recognize the belief system, social organization and government system controlled by the king until the entry of colonial influence in Buleleng. The variety of Buleleng culture in the past was very complex, starting to develop, arts, agricultural knowledge systems, languages, shipping and foreign cultural influences.Keywords: History, Culture, Archaeological remains

Abstract

The professionalism of the leader is very much needed, considering that his position is very important, so that the leadership spirit should be instilled and developed in managing the organization. The village government is an official government institution whose level is in every village in Indonesia, has the function to carry out the affairs of the interests of the local community in relation to government affairs in the state of Indonesia. Bakbakan village is one of the villages in the Gianyar sub-district, Gianyar district, this village was chosen as the focus of research because one of the village heads in managing the governance of his village by prioritizing Hindu leadership. This research was conducted to make a practical contribution for village leaders who are Hindus to always carry out swadharma (obligations) departing from the teachings of Hinduism. Data collection techniques in this study consisted of observations to research locations, interviews, literature studies, namely determining the concept of Asta Bratha's teachings in the Ramayana book and related literacy. Documentation is looking back at the document notes and photos of the village head who is carrying out his duties in the office and in the midst of the community. The implementation of the asta bratha teachings applied in leadership at the Bakbakan Village Office, Gianyar District, Gianyar Regency by imitating the attributes of gods consisting of: Indra Brata, Yama, Brata, Candra Brata, Surya Brata, Bayu Brata, Kuwera Brata, Baruna Brata , Agni Brata. The eight asta brata leadership are guidelines for bakbakan village heads in carrying out their duties as village leaders who are submissive and obedient to Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia and Bhineka Tunggal Ika. In carrying out his leadership, the Bakbakan village head prioritizes the interests of the community, improves community welfare, minimizes unemployment, improves education, and creates peace in the Bakbakan village environment.Key Word: Implementation, Hindu Leadership, Ramayana, Bakbakan Village Government

Abstract

Ngusaba Kaja is the embodiment of an aesthetic experience when the state of the soul is experiencing peace and purity. This ascent can only be achieved by immanent appreciation and practice of the teachings of Hinduism. Ngusaba Kaja grows, lives and develops as a religious culture. The study in this study, focused on the implementation of the ethical teachings contained in the Ngusaba Kaja, so that they can be understood and practiced in people's lives. This study of Ngusaba Kaja uses several theories, namely; the theory of Structural Functionalism, and the theory of religion as an auxiliary theory which is supported by literature studies and through information from resource persons as informants. Ngusaba Kaja as part of culture, is a symbol of society and contains values that live in society.The existence of Ngusaba Kaja can be understood through the functions and meanings contained in it. Its existence needs to be explored, developed and preserved. One conservation step, even on the simplest scale, would have a defensive meaning, in alerting the totality of oneself to face the wave of pluralism in the next century.Keywords: Teachings of Susila and Ngusaba Kaja

Abstract

Nowadays, divorce cases are increasing. To avoid this, it is necessary to anticipate the younger generation of Hindus in planning their weddings. One effort that can be done is through premarital counseling. The purpose of this paper is to find out the purpose of implementing premarital counseling and the benefits that can be obtained when prospective brides carry out premarital counseling. The purpose of premarital counseling itself is to equip the younger generation of Hindus in living a married life (Catur Ashrama) in order to form a happy family (sukinah). In order to achieve a happy family, it is necessary to explain the duties, rights, and obligations of husband and wife in premarital counseling material. By understanding each other's swadharma, it is hoped that the household will be happy and be able to give birth to a superior and positive generation.Keywords: premarital counseling, Grhasta Ashrama

Abstract

 Karya sastra merupakan hasil imajinasi penulis dalam menggambarkan kehidupan sosial masyarakat. Salah satunya adalah karya sastra yang berupa cerita yang dikenal di Bali disebut dengan Satua.  Para sastra Bali masih memandang Satua memiliki keistimewaan, karena kehadirannya mengandung arti tersendiri dan sikap mental serta tingkah laku dengan kehidupan masyarakat. Selain itu banyak ajaran-ajaran agama yang terkandung didalam satua-satua Bali salah satunya adalah satua Rare Sigaran.Satua rare sigaran merupakan sebuah cerita mengenai seorang anak yang terlahir dalam keadaan berbadan setengah karena ketika ibunya Rare Sigaran mengandung ia mencaci maki Bhatara Guru sampai akhirnya Bhatara Guru marah dan mengambil setengah badan dari anak yang ada dalam perut ibunya Rare Sigaran. Sampai akhirnya rare sigaran mampu menemukan setengah badannya kembali di alam sorga berkat keinginannya yang kuat,Ajaran agama yang tetmuat dalam satua Rare Sigaran seperti ajaran Karma Phala, ajaran Etika Hindu yaitu Kroda sifat marah yang memang dimiliki setiap orang dan ajaran Satya yang berarti kesetiaan.Amanat yang ingin disampaikan adalah bagaimana menjalani kehidupan yang seharusnya sikap seseorang bisa untuk mengendalikan diri dan tidak menyakiti orang lain baik itu dari perkataan maupun perbuatan. Salah berucap maka akan membuat seseorang itu akan mendapat karmanya sendiri.

Abstract

The development of communication technology with its various new media platforms forms a new society called cyber society. The massive digital content consumed by the cyber community results in frequent miscommunication and disharmony due to a lack of responsibility and communication ethics. This research is a qualitative research using literature study. Based on the results of this study, ethics has a very vital role in communication in the cyber era. We must implement internet ethics in cyber society, starting with ourselves, family and those closest to us, learning to use the internet safely and responsibly. This is very important to prevent violations of the law contained in Law Number 19 of 2016 amendments to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions. Imprisonment sentences accompanied by fines of hundreds of millions to billions of rupiah await if they violate the ethics of communication in the cyber world.Keywords : communication ethics, cyber era.

Abstract

Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System has emphasized that the goal of national education must be pursued to be achieved by all education providers in Indonesia. To achieve this, a special analysis is needed at the education level, adapted to the level of ability and needs of students. Formally, school is a place to study religion and a place to guide students.Education has meaning and an important role in life. Educational institutions are expected to take over the roles and responsibilities of families in shaping the character of students. In shaping students' morals and character, the application of morals and ethics is the basic point that must be realized by an educator. Learning is not only understood in theory but is applied in the behavior of each student's life so that it can show the character of students leading to a better direction. In this case, what is appropriate to be applied to overcome the problem of moral degradation is the teachings of Bhakti Marga so that it can shape the morals, ethics and habits of students towards male students. The forms of Bhakti Marga teachings in developing students' character are: carrying out prayers, preserving the environment, maintaining the cleanliness of holy places. Regarding the impact of Bhakti Marga teachings in developing student character, it is to increase students' religious attitudes, create student discipline, form tolerance in students, increase environmental care, and increase students' sense of responsibility. So that the teachings of Bhakti Marga can be used as guidelines in daily life in order to maintain a harmonious balance of the natural environment. Keywords: Bhakti Marga Teachings, Student Character

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Konsep Ekologi sebagai bentuk implementsi ajaran Tr Hita Karana dalam upacara ngusaba bulih Pura Manik Mas Desa Pakraman Nyanglan Kecamatan Banjarangkan Kabupaten Klungkung. Metoda yang digunakan dalam peneltian ini mempergunakan metode kualitatif, Metoda pengumpulan data yang dipergunakan seperti: observasi, wawancara, studi kepustakaan, studi dokumentasi. Upacara ngusaba bulih adalah suatau kegiatan yang dilaksanakan oleh krama subak dan masyarakat Desa Nyanglan untuk mengupacarai bulih dan memuja Dewi Sri sebagai penjaga tanaman padi. Prosesi upacara ngusaba bulih terdapat tiga tahapan yaitu praprosesi, prosesi inti dan prosesi penutup.  Konsep Ekologi dalam upacara ngusaba bulih merupakan implementasi dari ajaran Tri Hita Karana yang jika dikaji secara mendalam upacara ngusaba bulih ini merupakan sebuah media pemuliaan dan penghargaan terhadap alam lingkungan.
