Abstract

Media pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran belum sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa sehingga kurang efektif untuk membantu siswa memahami konsep perkalian bilangan asli. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan produk media pembelajaran Game Online Ular Tangga. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan, yaitu Research and Development. Langkah-langkah pengembangan memperhatikan model Hannafin dan Peck, yaitu analisis kebutuhan, desain, pengembangan dan implementasi. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas III salah satu Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Tebet Timur. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan angket. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa validasi ahli media menunjukkan persentase 86% dengan kriteria sangat baik, validasi ahli materi menunjukkan persentasi 88% dengan kriteria sangat baik, dan validasi ahli bahasa menunjukkan persentase 95% dengan kriteria sangat baik sehingga dapat dikatakan sudah valid dan layak digunakan. The learning media used in learning are not following the needs of students, so they are less effective in helping students understand the concept of multiplication of natural numbers. This study aims to develop the learning media products Snakes and Ladders Online Game. This type of research is development research, namely Research and Development. The development steps were taken by Hannafin and Peck's model. That is analysis, design, development, and implementation. The research subjects were third-grade students of one of the State Elementary Schools in East Tebet. The instruments used are observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Results of the study show that the validation of media experts shows a percentage of 86% with very good criteria, material expert validation shows a percentage of 88% with very good criteria, and linguist validation shows a percentage of 95% with very good criteria so that it can be said to be valid and feasible to use.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa SMA pada materi Pertidaksamaan Dua Variabel yang dikategorikan ke dalam lima kategori yaitu sangat baik, baik, cukup, kurang, dan sangat kurang. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas X MIPA 3 di SMAN 2 Bantul sebanyak 31 siswa. Instrumennya yaitu instrumen tes kemampuan penalaran matematis dan wawancara. Bentuk tes kemampuan penalaran matematis yang disajikan sebanyak 2 butir soal dan wawancara kepada beberapa siswa yang terpilih pada setiap kategori. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tes kemampuan penalaran matematis dan wawancara diperoleh hasil sebesar 22,58% kategori sangat baik (7 siswa), 6,45% kategori baik (2 siswa), 48,39% kategori cukup (15 siswa), 16,13% kategori kurang (5 siswa), dan 6,45% kategori sangat kurang (2 siswa). This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach that aims to analyze the mathematical reasoning ability of high school students on the Inequality of Two Variables material which is categorized into five categories, namely very good, good, sufficient, less, and very poor. The subjects in this study were students of class X MIPA 3 at SMAN 2 Bantul as many as 31 students. The instruments are mathematical reasoning ability test instruments and interviews. The form of the mathematical reasoning ability test presented as many as 2 questions and interviews with several students who were selected in each category. Based on the results of the analysis of the mathematical reasoning ability test and interviews, the results obtained were 22.58% very good category (7 students), 6.45% good category (2 students), 48.39% sufficient category (15 students), 16.13% poor category (5 students), and 6.45% very poor category (2 students).

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan representasi matematis siswa bergaya kognitif reflektif dalam menyelesaikan masalah sistem persamaan linear dan untuk mendeskripsikan representasi matematis siswa bergaya kognitif implusif dalam menyelesaikan masalah sistem persamaan linear. Peneliti menetapkan empat subjek penelitian dari hasil tes gaya kognitif reflektif-implusif yang terdiri dari dua subjek bergaya kognitif reflektif dan dua subjek bergaya kognitif implusif. Peneliti melakukan tes masalah sistem persamaan linear dan wawancara terhadap ke empat subjek tersebut. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa bergaya kognitif reflektif mampu menyelesaikan masalah sistem persamaan linear menggunakan representasi visual dan simbolik, serta siswa bergaya kognitif reflektif mampu menggunakan representasi verbal namun masih kurang tepat. sedangkan sisiwa bergaya kongnitif implusif mampu menyelesaikan masalah sistem persamaan linear menggunakan representasi verbal. The purpose of this study is to describe the mathematical representation of students with reflective cognitive style in solving linear equation system problems and to describe the mathematical representation of students with impulsive cognitive style in solving linear equation system problems. Researchers set four research subjects from the results of the reflective-impulsive cognitive style test consisting of two subjects with reflective cognitive style and two with impulsive cognitive style. The researcher conducted tests on the system of linear equations and interviewed the four subjects. The type of research used is a case study with a qualitative approach. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that students with reflective cognitive styles could solve linear equation system problems using visual and symbolic representations, and students with reflective cognitive styles could use verbal representations but were still not precise. while students with impulsive cognitive style are able to solve linear equation system problems using verbal representations.

Abstract

Salah satu media pembelajaran E-learning yang cukup dikenal masyarakat yaitu Google Classroom. Demi meningkatkan efektifitas penggunaan Google Classroom, diperlukan apliakasi penunjang yang familiar dan sering digunakan, yaitu WhatsApp. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan besar pengaruh media pembelajaran Google Classroom berbantuan Whatsapp terhadap hasil belajar metematika siswa kelas VII di MTs Miftahul Huda Ngreco Kandat Kediri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif jenis eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimen). Teknik sampling yaitu random sampling. Populasi penelitian yaitu siswa kelas VII sebanyak 120 siswa. Sampel penelitian yaitu kelas VII A dan VII B sebanyak 42 siswa. Metode pengambilan data melalui tes hasil belajar siswa. Analisis data menggunakan uji t dengan bantuan SPSS 26.0. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu (1) Ada pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan media Google Classroom berbantuan Whatsapp terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII di MTs Miftahul Huda Ngreco Kandat Kediri, dan (2) Berdasarkan nilai cohen’s penggunaan media Google Classroom berbantuan Whatsapp terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII di MTs Miftahul Huda Ngreco Kandat Kediri memiliki efek besar. One of the E-learning learning media that is well known to the public is Google Classroom. In order to increase the effectiveness of using Google Classroom, a familiar and frequently used supporting application is needed, namely WhatsApp. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect and magnitude of the influence of the Google Classroom learning media assisted by Whatsapp on the mathematics learning outcomes of class VII students at MTs Miftahul Huda Ngreco Kandat Kediri. This research uses a quasi-experimental (quasi-experimental) type of quantitative approach. The sampling technique is random sampling. The population of this research is class VII students as many as 120 students. The research sample is class VII A and VII B as many as 42 students. The method of data collection is through student learning outcomes tests. Data analysis using t-test with the help of SPSS 26.0. The results of this study are (1) There is a significant effect of using Google Classroom media with the help of Whatsapp on the mathematics learning outcomes of class VII students at MTs Miftahul Huda Ngreco Kandat Kediri, and (2) Based on Cohen's value the use of Google Classroom media assisted by Whatsapp on the mathematics learning outcomes of class VII students at MTs Miftahul Huda Ngreco Kandat Kediri has a big effect.

Abstract

Kemampuan representasi matematis penting dimiliki siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa SMP berdasarkan self-efficacy dengan dimensi generality, level dan strenght. Subjek penelitian kualitatif deskriptif ini terdiri dari tiga orang siswa kelas VII di Desa Cibunar. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, tes, dan wawancara. Data dianalisis dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa representasi matematis pada siswa yang memenuhi ketiga dimensi self-efficacy belum mampu memenuhi indikator membuat model matematis dari permasalahan yang diberikan dan menyajikan kembali data atau informasi representasi ke representasi diagram, grafik, atau tabel. Dua siswa yang memenuhi dua dimensi self-efficacy sama-sama hanya mampu mencapai satu indikator kemampuan representasi matematis yaitu menggunakan diagram sebagai fasilitas penyelesaiannya. Hal ini menunjukkan self-efficacy berpengaruh pada kemampuan representasi matematis. The ability to mathematical representation is important for students to have. This study aims to describe the mathematical representation ability of junior high school students based on self-efficacy on the dimensions of generality, level, and strength. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the subject of three seventh-grade students in Cibunar Village. Data were collected through observation, tests, and interviews. The data were analyzed in the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results showed that the mathematical representation ability of students who met the three dimensions of self-efficacy had not been able to meet the indicators of making mathematical models of the problems given and presenting data or information representations to diagrams, graphs, or table representations. Two students who meet the two dimensions of self-efficacy are both only able to achieve one indicator of mathematical representation ability, namely using diagrams as a solution facility. This shows that self-efficacy affects the ability of mathematical representation.

Abstract

Self-regulated learning merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam pembelajaran untuk mengendalikan diri dalam berpikir maupun bertindak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh self-regulated learning terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan jenis korelasional dan expost facto. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari siswa kelas VII dan VIII pada salah satu SMP Negeri di Kota Serang dengan rincian 20 siswa kelas VII dan 20 siswa kelas VIII. Instrumen yang digunakan berbentuk non-tes yang berisi butir positif dan negatif. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis inferensial menggunakan software SPSS 25.00. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh self-regulated learning atau kemandirian belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Self-regulated learning is one of the important factors in learning to control oneself in thinking and acting. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of self-regulated learning on students' mathematics learning outcomes. This research method is descriptive and quantitative with correlational and exposed facto types. The research sample consisted of students in grades VII and VIII at one of the public junior high schools in Serang City with details of 20 students in class VII and 20 students in class VIII. The instrument used is in the form of a non-test containing positive and negative items. The data analysis technique was carried out by inferential analysis using SPSS 25.00 software. The results showed that there was no effect of self-regulated learning or independent learning on students' mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

Kemampuan komunikasi matematis merupakan salah satu komponen penting dalam proses belajar, terutama pada pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dengan self-efficacy pada tingkat rendah, sedang, dan tinggi dalam menyelesaikan masalah open-ended materi Himpunan. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Subjek penelitian 3 siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa siswa dengan self-efficacy rendah dalam menyelesaikan masalah open-ended belum mampu memenuhi indikator komunikasi matematis, siswa dengan self-efficacy sedang dalam menyelesaikan masalah open-ended mampu memenuhi beberapa indikator komunikasi matematis, siswa dengan self-efficacy tinggi dalam menyelesaikan masalah open-ended mampu memenuhi semua indikator komunikasi matematis. Mathematical communication ability is an important component in the learning process, especially in learning mathematics. This study aims to describe students' mathematical communication skills with self-efficacy at low, medium, and high levels in solving open-ended problems in the set material. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with the type of case study. Research subjects 3 students. The data analysis technique uses data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that students with low self-efficacy in solving open-ended problems have not been able to meet the indicators of mathematical communication, students with moderate self-efficacy in solving open-ended problems are able to meet several indicators of mathematical communication, and students with high self-efficacy in solving problems. open-ended problems are able to meet all indicators of mathematical communication.

Abstract

Salah satu upaya dalam meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dan kemandirian belajar siswa ialah dengan melakukan inovasi pada model pembelajaran yang digunakan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi dan kemandirian belajar siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan Discovery Learning. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 6 Garut, metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Quasi Eksperiment Design dengan menggunakan dua kelas sebagai sampel yaitu kelas X MIPA 7 sebagai kelas eksperimen 1 yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan X MIPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen 2 yaitu kelas yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning. Siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan Discovery Learning mengalami peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis dalam kategori tinggi dan sedang. Kemandirian belajar siswa yang mendapatkan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan Discovery Learning pada umumnya rendah dan sedang. One effort to improve students' mathematical communication skills and student learning independence is to innovate the use of the learning model. The purpose of this study is to analyze the differences in the improvement of communication skills and learning independence of students who are taught Problem Based Learning and Discovery Learning. This research was conducted in Senior High School 6 Garut, this research employed Quasi Experiment Design by using two classes as samples namely class X MIPA 7 as an experimental class 1 using the Problem Based Learning model while X MIPA 2 as an experimental class 2 using Discovery Learning model. Students who are taught Problem Based Learning and Discovery Learning have increased mathematical communication skills in the high and medium categories. The learning independence of students who get the Problem Based Learning and Discovery Learning model is generally low and moderate.

Abstract

Beberapa alasan perlunya kemampuan representasi yaitu untuk membangun konsep dan berpikir matematis, serta untuk memiliki kemampuan pemahaman konsep baik yang dapat digunakan dalam pemecahan masalah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan kemampuan representasi matematis antara siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning dan Discovery Learning. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Garut. Teknis pengambilan sampel menggunakan Purposive Sampling dengan sampel sebanyak dua kelas. Diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa antara yang mendapatkan model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning dan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning, kualitas peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang mendapatkan model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning dan Discovery Learning berinterpretasi sedang, dan sikap siswa terhadap model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning dan Discovery Learning berinterpretasi cukup. Some of the reasons for the need for representational skills are to build concepts and think mathematically, as well as to have good conceptual understanding skills that can be used in problem-solving. This research is a quasi-experimental study that aims to analyze the differences in mathematical representation abilities between students who receive Contextual Teaching and Learning and Discovery Learning. The population in this study were all eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Garut. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with a sample of two classes. It was concluded that there were differences in students' mathematical representation abilities between those who received the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model and the Discovery Learning learning model, and the quality of improving the mathematical representation ability of students who received the Contextual Teaching and Learning and Discovery Learning learning models with moderate interpretation, and student's attitudes towards the learning model. Contextual Teaching and Learning and Discovery Learning have sufficient interpretation.

Abstract

Beberapa penelitian menyatakan bahwa siswa SMP, SMA, maupun SMK memiliki kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis yang rendah. Bagaimana matematika yang diajarkan di kelas, sedikit demi sedikit mempengaruhi kepercayaan siswa terhadap matematika sehingga belief siswa terhadap matematika dipengaruhi situasi pembelajaran di kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis dan belief siswa pada materi persamaan dan pertidaksamaan linear. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode analisis deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII yang berada di Desa Wanakerta berjumlah 7 orang siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis, angket belief, wawancara, dan catatan lapangan. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa termasuk kategori sedang dengan persentase sebesar 58% dan belief siswa termasuk kategori baik dengan persentase sebesar 76%. Several studies state that junior high, high school, and vocational high school students have low mathematical creative thinking skills. How mathematics is taught in class, little by little affects students' belief in mathematics so that students' belief in mathematics is influenced by learning situations in class. This study aims to determine students’ mathematical creative thinking skills and beliefs in the material of linear equations and inequalities. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research. The research. The research method used is the descriptive analysis method The subjects in this study were grade VIII students who were in Wanakerta Village, which numbered 7 students. The sampling technique in this study is a purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique used is a mathematical creative thinking skills test, belief questionnaire, interviews, and field notes. The data analysis techniques in this study are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The result showed that students’ creative thinking skills were in the medium category with a percentage of 58% and students’ beliefs were in the good category with a percentage of 76%.
