Journal of Computer Science and Information Technology is a threetly journal published by Universitas Putra Indonesia YPTK, Padang. It publishes scientific and technical papers describing original research work or novel product/process development. The objectives are to promote exchange of information and knowledge in research work, new inventions/developments of Computer Science and on the use of Information Technology towards the structuring of an information-rich society and to assist the academic staff from local and foreign universities, business and industrial sectors, government departments and academic institutions on publishing research results and studies in Computer Science and Information Technology through a scholarly publication. Abstract

Designed and developed an automatic organic fertilizer maker using Arduino ATmega microcontroller. This tool is designed to automate the process of making organic fertilizer which usually requires a lot of energy and time. This system is equipped with temperature, humidity, and pH sensors that function to monitor the condition of the compost material in real-time. In addition, this tool is also equipped with an automatic stirring mechanism that operates based on predetermined parameters. All sensor data is processed by Arduino ATmega, which then controls the stirring motor to ensure even mixing and optimal fermentation. The developed prototype has been tested and shows that this system can operate well, producing quality organic fertilizer with minimal human intervention. The implementation of this tool is expected to increase the efficiency of organic fertilizer production and reduce dependence on less efficient traditional methods. This innovation also has the potential to support sustainable agriculture by providing a more effective and environmentally friendly alternative in fertilizer production.

Abstract

Soil quality on agricultural land is one of the important things that needs special attention in its management. It is not easy to create ideal soil conditions for plants. For that, farmers need to know the variables that affect ideal conditions. The easiest way to find out the variables is to measure the pH and humidity of the soil conditions. designing and building an automatic drip irrigation system device. This system can be used as irrigation in highland agriculture. Therefore, in order for farmers to save water when the dry season comes, sophisticated technology is needed to minimize the risk of crop failure. The use of computer technology in the railroad crossing security system can be an optimal solution. This tool consists of Arduino Mega 2560 as the control center for all sensors, NodeMCU Esp8266 as a telemonitoring device, Soil moisture sensor as the key to this drip irrigation device can carry out irrigation connected to the Water Pump. In this study, a telemonitoring system will be created with telegrams on chili plant planting media based on soil acidity and soil moisture using the help of sensors that can be monitored online using the internet. Data will be stored in a database and displayed on the web. The results of the research on the planting media for chili plants obtained produced soil that is suitable for chili plants, namely sandy soil media that has a moisture value of 7 to 8 and a pH value of 6.5-7.5. The average time required to communicate between nodes to telegram is 344 ms, the process has moderate quality.

Abstract

The development of information technology in the modern era is currently very rapid and has a significant impact on various aspects of life, including data processing in companies and MSMEs. Data processing that is still carried out traditionally tends to take a long time and has a low level of accuracy and precision. As technology advances, the use of computer-based applications has become a common solution to support data processing and decision-making. The use of computer technology can help improve work efficiency, speed up data processing, and increase the accuracy and precision of the resulting information. OkeStoRen is an MSME engaged in PPOB, selling mobile phone accessories, and various other goods located in Padang City, West Sumatra. In the process of processing transaction data, OkeStoRen still uses traditional methods with paper and pen media, so the recording process is considered ineffective because it requires a long time, has a low level of accuracy, and has a fairly high risk of data loss. Therefore, a computerized data processing system is needed to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and security of transaction data at OkeStoRen..

Abstract

Information technology is currently experiencing rapid progress, particularly in the world of business and trade. The use of information technology systems is needed to support company operations so they can run more effectively and efficiently, one example being inventory data processing. However, many trading companies still use manual inventory systems, which creates various problems such as slow stock information, late reporting, and the risk of overstocking. Furthermore, the shift to the digital era requires companies to utilize computer technology and human resources capable of operating the system optimally. Putri Meubel Store, a furniture store selling various types of furniture such as chairs, cupboards, mattresses, tables, and sofas, still uses a manual recording system through receipts and bookkeeping. This system leads to duplicate data recording, inaccuracy, and errors in inventory data processing. Therefore, a computer-based inventory information system is needed to simplify inventory data management, improve data accuracy, accelerate reporting, and help improve operational effectiveness and efficiency at Putri Meubel Store.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has significantly impacted the need for fast, accurate, and relevant information in the business world. Proper use of technology can help companies improve information quality through computerized systems, allowing data to be neatly organized, structured, and securely stored in databases. One technology widely utilized in the business world is the website, which serves not only as an information medium but also as a means of online product sales and promotion. Sales systems that still rely on direct interaction with customers and are centered on specific locations make it difficult for companies to expand their market, increase promotions, and maintain competitiveness amidst a growing number of competitors. Abstract

Silvia Wedding is a party equipment and music rental business in Pariaman City. The business has been operating for approximately 10 years and offers a variety of services, including Minang traditional wedding stage rentals, event decorations, photography, video shooting, catering, dance services, makeup, and music services. In managing rental and reservation transactions, Silvia Wedding still uses a manual system, recording customer data, party equipment rentals, and music reservations in a ledger. This system creates various problems, such as the risk of recording errors, data loss, and delays in obtaining information regarding the availability of party equipment according to customer schedules. To address these issues, the application of information technology is necessary through the development of a computer-based information system for party equipment rentals and music reservations. This information system is designed to facilitate more effective and efficient transaction management, facilitate owner access to asset availability information, and generate transaction reports quickly and accurately. With this information system, Silvia Wedding is expected to streamline business processes and improve the quality of service to customers.

Abstract In the current era of globalization, the development of science and technology continues to advance rapidly. Abstract

Technological advances that are developing rapidly encourage every agency or organization to keep abreast of developments and continue to improve their ability to process data and information needed to achieve goals. Cooperative is an organization or business entity that has a very important role in growing and developing the economic potential of the people. The Village Unit Cooperative (KUD Situjuh Batur) which has a type of savings and loan business where the cooperative management is still conducting savings and loan transactions using a manual recording system with books and using a calculator to calculate transactions which causes work to be less effective and inefficient because it will take up a lot of time and costs and has many disadvantages, including the book can be damaged, lost, wet, and torn. So that it can hinder the performance of cooperative employees. Because the process is still manual, it makes it difficult to find out which members have deposits or loans. For example, member data, loan size, installments paid, the problem is how to improve the existing system, to present accurate and timely data. Therefore we need a web-based savings and loan information system at KUD using the PHP and MySQL programming languages.

Abstract

Information systems are a crucial requirement in the development of modern technology because they can facilitate the processing of data into useful information. Increasingly sophisticated technological developments make it easier to access, manage, and present information through various media, including web-based ones. The use of web-based information systems can help make human work more effective and efficient, including in the creative and entertainment industries. Rotch Entertainment is a production house and modeling agency company that provides creative services, branding, advertising, film, videography, photography, event organizing, modeling school, acting, dancing, singing, and commercial modeling. In its operational activities, Rotch Entertainment requires an information system capable of supporting services to prospective clients and students, particularly in the registration and data management process. The problem is that the registration and data processing processes are still not optimally integrated, making them less effective in supporting management needs. Therefore, a web-based information system is needed that can simplify the registration process for prospective models and clients, and assist management in managing and monitoring data more quickly, accurately, and efficiently. With this information system, it is hoped that the service process and data management at Rotch Entertainment will run more smoothly and more structured.

Abstract

The design of this educational game aims to find out the results of the development of the human body parts recognition game using Adobe Animate CC, to find out the feasibility of the human body parts recognition game as a learning medium to improve learning outcomes for Android-based Kindergarten children, as a learning medium with basic material on part recognition. human body. The stages in this design process are analysis, design development, implementation, and testing. After the proposed procedures have been carried out and run accordingly, and the media meets the appropriate interactive criteria, a test is then carried out to determine feasibility in the field. With the introduction of human body parts educational game as an android-based learning media for Kindergarten children, it is hoped that it can attract interest in learning and simplify the process of recognizing human body parts.
