ABDI SABHA (Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat) was published by the Center for Research and Development Indonesia (CERED Indonesia) in February, June and October this year. ABDI SABHA aims to disseminate information on scientific papers related to community service activities by academics and practitioners. ABDI SABHA accepts submissions of articles written in Indonesian and English. Determination of articles to be published is carried out through a blind review process by the editorial team by paying attention to aspects such as: meeting the requirements of scientific journal publication standards and contributing articles for professional development. The editor is responsible for providing a constructive review of the articles to be published and (if deemed necessary) as well as submitting the evaluation results of the article to the author. Articles that are proposed to be published in the journal are recommended to follow the guidelines for writing articles made by the Editor.

Abstract

Desa Tanjung Rejo, yang terletak di Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Sumatera Utara mayoritas penduduk bekerja sebagai petani dan nelayan. Desa ini memiliki potensi besar dalam sektor maritim, termasuk perikanan, pariwisata, dan kawasan hutan mangrove seluas 602.181 ha. Pendapatan nelayan yang rendah dan limbah ikan yang tidak terkelola dengan baik menjadi masalah utama, dengan limbah ikan mencapai 50-100 kg per hari yang dapat menyebabkan dampak lingkungan negatif. Permasalahan mitra Limbah ikan dapat mencemari air dan udara jika tidak dikelola dengan baik. Program ini bertujuan untuk mengelola limbah ikan secara efektif, meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat, serta memberikan dampak positif baik dari segi ekonomi maupun lingkungan. Metode pelaksanaan antara lain metode Penentuan lokasi dengan, metode pendekatan, metode pelaksanaan, metode pembagian tugas. Adapun kesimpulan dari kegiatan penyuluhan anatar lain: Sebelum penyuluhan: Mayoritas peserta hanya tahu istilah “pupuk organik”, tapi tidak paham ciri, jenis, manfaat, dan potensi limbah ikan. Setelah penyuluhan: Peserta menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman signifikan di semua aspek, termasuk potensi limbah ikan menjadi pupuk bernilai ekonomi. Sebelum pelatihan: Tidak ada peserta yang mengetahui bahan, proses, atau nilai ekonomis pupuk dari limbah ikan. Setelah pelatihan: Semua peserta memahami dan mampu menjelaskan bahan, teknik fermentasi, waktu penggunaan, dan manfaat ekonomisnya.

Abstract

Aquaponics is an environmentally friendly agricultural alternative that integrates fish farming and plant cultivation within a single ecosystem. This concept is particularly suitable for household-scale application, as it enhances the use of home yards and supports family food security. This Muhammadiyah Community Partnership Program aimed to: (1) improve the knowledge and skills of members of Aisyiyah Branch Medan Perjuangan in constructing aquaponic systems, and (2) raise awareness of the importance of environmentally based sustainable agriculture. The training was conducted using a participatory approach involving socialization, hands-on practice, and active discussion. The program successfully increased participants' awareness and motivation to utilize their home yards productively. Participants demonstrated high enthusiasm throughout the activity, with hopes that similar training initiatives could be extended and developed in other communities.

Abstract

The strategy and effort to build villages accommodate village activists to create collective learning spaces in village resource governance. Village initiatives and capabilities in managing existing resources in their areas are the basic capital to create strong, advanced, and independent villages. Literacy in the form of information technology is a learning tool that can bridge village activists in various regions through relevant and sustainable community service program interventions to reduce and minimize the presence of poor communities in villages. Gorontalo Province is ranked 6th out of 10 regions with the highest number of poor people in September 2023 (BPS, January 2024), with a poor population of 15.41 percent and Central Sulawesi is ranked 10th with a percentage of poor people of 12.18 percent. The distribution of poor population areas is found to be in the Tomini Bay area. The Thematic KKN Program by LPPM UNG in 2025 is oriented to improve the quality of the number of community service of UNG lecturers. Providing solutions to partner problems with a holistic approach based on multidisciplinary research that has been implemented and is able to be effective for the priority scale of community development in the 3T region as stated in Presidential Decree No. 63 of 2020 and based on BPS data in 2021. The target of the community-based social literacy empowerment program to support the development of local food economic independence through this Thematic KKN program is the realization of a community that has good knowledge and understanding of social literacy as part of the learning process and has skills that are an effort to improve welfare through economic independence and local food security of the community. The type of literacy development developed is a community-based potential that is worth exploring (village) that is available and has comparative advantages and competitive advantages both economically, socially and environmentally that can be produced and marketed in order to create community economic independence through a local food security program.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the patterns of interpersonal communication between the owner and employees in the management of UMKM Man Mun in Gorontalo City. The research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, direct observation, and documentation. The informants in this study consisted of three individuals: one owner and two employees. The data analysis technique refers to the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results reveal that interpersonal communication within the organization is informal, direct, and familial. The owner provides instructions verbally and via short messages, while also showing concern for the personal situations of employees.
