Abstract

An understanding of the Qibla direction is very important for Muslims, because facing the Qibla is one of the legal requirements for performing prayers. Although now the technology to determine the Qibla direction is sophisticated, it is necessary to know how to determine the actual Qibla direction. The determination of the direction of the Qibla with the spherical triangle method is based on a triangle on the surface of the globe which is formed by three large circles of the globe, namely two circles of the earth's longitude and one circle of Qibla. The intersection of the three large circles forms three points, namely point A (Makkah), point B (the location where the Qibla direction will be calculated), and point C (the North Pole). The steps in determining the Qibla direction include: (1) Prepare the data needed in calculating the Qibla direction of a place, namely latitude and longitude data for the Kaaba (Makkah city), as well as latitude and longitude data for the location/city to be calculated. the qibla direction; (2) Calculation of the Qibla direction using the formula , with: B = Angle of the direction of the Qibla of a place, C = The difference between the longitude of the Kaaba and the longitude of the place where the Qibla direction is being sought, a = 90o – tp (latitude), and b = 90o – ka (Kaaba latitude); (3) Calculation of true Qibla azimuth from true north in a clockwise direction, where true Qibla azimuth = 360o – Qibla direction angle (B); (4) Determination of the actual Qibla direction by measuring using an arc ruler as large as true Qibla azimuth from true north.

Abstract

Fundamentalism is a religious ideology that emphasizes the existence of divinely revealed texts as they are. So that the term fundamentalist is equated with scripturalist because the religious rituals refer to the text rigidly. Etymologically the term fundamentalism in Islam has no equivalent, but in a historical perspective the movement is identical with the khawarij with its takfiri idiom. Indonesia is one of the countries where the ideology of fundamentalism has spread, infiltrating the domestic and public spaces of government and social organizations both personally and communally.

Abstract

The variants and patterns of Islamic economic thought from Islamic scholars provide a roadmap for Islamic economic empowerment and development. The economic activities of the Islamic community should refer to the concept of Islamic economics that has been built by the mujtahids. The principles of Islamic economics globally have historical equivalents to be used as the basis for Islamic economics from upstream to downstream. Islamic society only needs the will to implement it in real life in everyday life

Abstract

The mosque is a vital tool for Muslims in carrying out daily, weekly, and annual ritual worship. The mosque is a symbol of Islamic civilization. In essence, mosques can function as social facilities to mobilize, empower, and improve the quality of society. The sacredness of the mosque as the center of a place of worship in an area becomes a magnet in itself and can be used as capital in improving the quality of mosque congregations through activities with transcendental spiritual nuances. This study discusses the role and social function of the mosque as part of the religious system and social institutions. This type of research is field research with a qualitative approach. The results of the study indicate that the mosque can carry out its social roles and functions well as a center for community religious activities.

Abstract

One of the company’s decisions that are important in competing product strategy is marketing activities. This study aims to empirically test the variables of the research, includes the question of whether there are any influences of the Brand Image (X1), Brand Trust (X2), Price (X3), Service Quality (X4) and Satisfaction (X5) of the Purchase Decision (Y). The samples in this study are taken by using aAccidental Sampling. They are 93 people from the population of 950; they are student in the Darul Falah Ramban Kulon Bondowoso Islamic Boarding School. The analyzes are performed by using the multiple linear regression analysis. Furthemore, the testing of the hypothesis is done with the software of Statistical Package for the Sciences (SPSS) in 18 version. The results of the analysis show that the Brand Image has no effect on Purchasing Decisions with the results of tcount 0.142 <ttable 1.6614 significance value 0.887> 0.05. Brand Image has no significant effect on Purchasing Decisions with a tcount of 1.842> ttable 1.6614 significance of 0.069> 0.05. Price variable shows the results of a significant effect on Purchasing Decisions with a value of tcount 2.074> ttable 1.6614 significance 0.041 <0.05. The next result shows that service quality has a significant effect on purchasing decisions with a value of tcount 3.852> ttable 1.6614 and significance 0.000 and satisfaction variable has a significant effect on purchasing decisions with a tcount of 5.722> ttable 1.6614 significance 0.000. Simultaneously brand image, brand trust, price, service quality and satisfaction have a significant effect on purchasing decisions
