Jurnal Ekonomi dan Perbankan Syariah is a scholarly journal published by Islamic Banking Department, School of Islamic Economics STEI SEBI The JEPS journal has been issued since 2013 and it’s have published twice in a year in April and October. The journal has been publishing scholarly papers since 2013. Starting in 2018 onwards, we encourage authors to only submit research papers written in good-read English academic writing. The journal is designed to provide a forum for researchers or academicians and also practitioners who are interested in knowledge and in discussing ideas, issues and challenges in the field of Islamic economic and banking. To solve the problem of the ummah and to provide the solution for the gap between the theories and practices. The scope or coverage of this journal will include but are not limited to Islamic economics, Islamic business, Islamic banking, Islamic capital markets, Islamic wealth management, issues on shariah implementation/practices of Islamic banking, zakat and awqaf, takaful, Islamic corporate finance, shariah-compliant risk management, Islamic derivatives, issues of Shariah Supervisory Boards, Islamic business ethics.

Abstract

This study aims to collect empirical evidence regarding the effect of CAR, ROA, Inflation, BI Rate / BI7DRR partially and simultaneously on problematic financing at Islamic Rural Banks (BPRS) in Indonesia for the 2015-2019 period. The method in this study using Multiple Linear Regression Analysis (OLS). The results of this study are the independent variables partially have a significant effect on the NPF variable except for the CAR variable. The variables CAR, ROA, Inflation, BI Rate / BI7DRR together influence the NPF variable. This research implies that based on CAR, ROA, Inflation, BI Rate / BI7DRR which can affect problems in BPRS in Indonesia, the results of this study have previously had similarities and differences with previous studies. The equation is that the independent variables jointly influence the dependent variable, and the difference is that the CAR variable does not have an effect on problems.

Abstract

This research is to analyze the effectiveness of the utilization of zakat funds to the development of community economic empowerment program at Zona Madina Dompet Dhuafa. This research uses quantitative approach with explanatory and explorative research type. Data collection through field observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The data analysis used the calculation of effectiveness ratio and Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test to analyze the effect of the program on the condition of beneficiary community between before and after program. The results of this study show the utilization of zakat funds to the community economic empowerment program at Zona Madina Dompet Dhuafa from 2015 to 2017 amounted to 99.92%. So that the utilization of zakat funds to the community economic empowerment program in Zona Madina Dompet Dhuafa has been very effective, because the effectiveness ratio shows lebiih besar dari 90%. Then based on statistical test nonparametrik Wilcoxon showed that the community economic empowerment program positively affect the changing economic conditions of the beneficiary community program.

Abstract

As known, the competition between banks in Indonesia is increasingly tight. Making each bank in various ways such as developing products, improving services, procuring promos, etc., continues to be carried out to get potential customers for the continuity of their business. Only banks are able to attract new consumers and retain old consumers who may be able to grow and develop for long periods of time. Therefore, it becomes a challenge for sharia bank marketers in creating marketing strategies in accordance with Islamic law. In this case, one of the things that can be done by Islamic bank marketers is to approach the community by identifying whether or not there are customers of conventional banks who want to move to Islamic banks. This study aims to determine the effect of customer perceptions of Islamic banks and variety seeking on the customer intention to switch from conventional banks to Islamic banks. Data collection techniques in this study were conducted by distributing questionnaires to all Muslim society in Bekasi City. Sampling is done by judgmental sampling technique so that it gets 101 samples. The research method used is quantitative associative research and data is processed using Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of this study indicate that only variable perception society about the bank sharia who influential significant effect on the customer intention to switch from conventional banks to Islamic banks, while variety seeking does not have a significant effect on the customer intention to switch from conventional banks to Islamic banks.

Abstract

The issue will be discussed in this paper is how the relationship and influence of HR management role, and the performance of the employees in Islamic bank. In addition this study will try to answer; whether the role of human resource management has a strong relationship with the employee's performance of Islamic banks or not; and whether the role of human resource management have a significant influence on employee performance of Islamic banks. This study focuses on BMI as a business unit and on the role of human resource management that includes the four functions, namely payroll management, knowledge management center, bussines strategic partner and champion employed. The results shown that HR Management has is no significant relationship to staffing, performance evaluation, compensation and industrial relations.Keywords: Human Resource Management, Employee Performance, BMI

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Islam menghalalkan jual beli karena sangat diperlukan masyarakat. Namun demikian dalam pelaksanaannya diperlukan aturan-aturan yang kokoh yang harus dipelihara untuk menjamin muamalah yang baik. Jual beli tidak sempurna jika tidak ada kepemilikan barang oleh pelaku akad. Semakin canggih dan berkembang teknologi informasi yang pesat dapat memacu pergeseran dalam dunia bisnis, menyebabkan muncul bisnis yang tidak mengharuskan penjual memiliki barang, yang disebut dengan dropshipping. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi literatur pustaka, menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan : (1). Praktik jual beli dropshipping dari sisi pelaku akad (penjual pembeli) dan ijab qobul telah memenuhi rukun dan syarat jual beli Islam, dari sisi kepemilikan atas objek barang memiliki dua pendapat, yaitu: pertama, diperbolehkan dengan catatan penjual mendapatkan ijin dari pemilik barang dan penjual dapat mengadakan atau menghadirkan barang tersebut. Kedua dilarang, karena penjual menjual barang bukan miliknya/ barang masih berada pada pemiliknya (supplier). (2). Dalam proses dropshipping, penjual dilarang melakukan penipuan atau kecurangan, penjual tidak boleh memberikan penjelasan yang tidak jelas tentang barang dan harga kepada konsumen dan melepas keluhan dari konsumen.Kata Kunci: Jual beli, Dropshipping, Akad, dan HargaABSTRACT: Islam has allowed trading because it’s very needed by the society. However, in its implementation required the substantial rules stout that should be maintained to ensure the good transaction. Trading is not perfect but having any goods by the seller. Increasingly advanced and developmental the information technology a rapid progress encourage a movement in the business world, causing the emergence of business that is not requires the seller possess items that is dropshipping. The research use the library study, using qualitative descriptive method. The results showed that: (1). Dropshipping from the side of the seller and buyer and ijab qobul have met cornerstone and the conditions of buying and selling of islam, and from the side of possession of an object goods having two: first, it is allowed, with note seller get permission from the owner of goods and seller can convene or presenting these goods. Second, forbidden, because the seller sells goods instead of possession and still to the owners (supplier). (2). In the process the seller is prohibited from conducting fraud or cheating, can not give the unclear explanation about the goods and the price to consumers and release complaint from customer.Keywords: Trade, Dropshiping, Contract, and Price

Abstract

This study aims to examine the antecedents of the philanthropic behavior in the Jabodetabek community in the era COVID-19 pandemic. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative study consisting of 2 (two) variables used, namely exogenous and endogenous. The population in this study is the Jabodetabek community with 400 samples of respondents. The data analysis method used is the partial least squares structural equation modeling (SEM-PLS) method with the help of SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of this study indicate that: (1) individual factors on philanthropic behavior in this study do not have a positive and significant effect, (2) organization factors on philanthropic behavior in this study have a positive and significant effect, (3) social factors on philanthropic behavior in this study. This has no positive and significant effect.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of price and product reviews on online purchasing decisions through Shopee during the Covid-19 pandemic in Banjarnegara Regency, Central Java. This study uses a quantitative approach. The data collection technique was conducted with a questionnaire. The number of samples in this study was 120 respondents using the purposive sampling method or with certain criteria, namely, the respondents are Shopee consumers who live in Banjarnegara Regency, Central Java, and have experience doing online transactions at Shopee at least 2 times since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia. The data analysis technique used validity test, reliability test, multiple linear regression analysis and t-test (partial), and F test (simultaneous), and the coefficient of determination (R2). The data processing uses SPSS version 26.0. The results of this study indicate that prices and product reviews partially and simultaneously influence online purchasing decisions through Shopee during the Covid-19 pandemic in Banjarnegara Regency, Central Java.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Influence of Inflation, BI rate and Exchange Rate on The Profitability of Sharia Banks In Indonesia for the period 2014-2020. The type of research is quantitative descriptive, with multiple linear regression analysis processed using SPSS software. Using the annual time series 2014-2020 data published on the OJK official website. The population and sample of 34 BUS and UUS were published in the Islamic banking statistics report by the OJK. The results of this study show that inflation has no partial effect on the profitability of sharia banks in Indonesia, while Bi rates negative affect and significant the profitability of sharia banks in Indonesia. And Exchange rates positive affect and siginificant. However, simultaneousy all independent free variables affect the profitability of sharia banks, and are able to explain the dependent variable of 70% and the remaining 30% are explained by other models not discussed in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the factors that influence the intention of Indonesian Muslim millennials in paying cash waqf using e-payment. This study uses the UTAUT theory where Religious Belief, Level of Knowledge, and Image are added to the main components. As well as testing the Effort Expectancy variable as a moderator between Performance Expectancy and Behavioral Intention. This research was conducted through an online survey involving 310 respondents who have never had cash waqf. Quantitative analysis based on PLS-SEM shows that Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, Level of Knowledge, and Image variables significantly affect the millennial generation's intention in paying cash waqf using e-payment. However, the variables Facilitating Condition and Religious Belief were found to be insignificant, as well as Effort Expectancy as a variable moderator between Performance Expectancy and Behavioral Intention was found to be insignificant on the millennial generation's intention in paying cash waqf using e-payment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine what factors influence MSMEs in taking business capital financing at a sharia financing institution, peer to peer lending namely qazwa.id. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a non-probability namely sampling technique, purposive sampling. The results of this study indicate that there are three factors that influence MSMEs in taking business capital financing in qazwa, namely easy and fast access to financing, margins and the sharia system. Among these three factors, the factor that greatly influences MSMEs in taking business capital financing at qazwa is the sharia system used by qazwa, namely mudharabah and murabahah contracts as evidenced by the results of interviews the majority of 4 out of 10 respondents chose it.
