<![CDATA[This study intends to analyze the influence of education level, infrastructure sector and real estate sector on labor absorption in West Papua Province. The data used in this study are secondary data, namely labor force data in districts and cities in West Papua Province, recent diploma data aged 15 years and over in West Papua Province 2010-2014, GRDP data on the basis of the constant price of the infrastructure sector (construction, transportation and warehousing) and GRDP data on the basis of the constant price of the real estate sector. Using panel data regression analysis, the results of this study indicate that the level of education and the infrastructure sector have a positive but not significant effect on labor absorption rates. Furthermore, the real estate sector has a positive and significant effect on labor absorption rates in West Papua Province]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to examine the influence of personal background, political background and knowledge of council about budget towards the role members of DPRD on financial region supervision. This research is motivated by the fact individual backgroundwill effect to individual behavior for their role and on political activity. Dependent variable in this research are the role members of DPRD on financial region supervision. Independent variables are personal background, political background and knowledge of council about budget. The data in this research consist of primary data that taken from questionnaires distributed directly to respondents. The collected are from 43 respondents that members of DPRD at West Papua Province. Hipothesis of this study are examine by using Multiple Linear Regression use SPSS 22 program. The result of this indicated that‟s, first, there is a positive influence of personal background toward the role members of DPRD on financial region supervision. Second, political background haven‟t effect towards the role members of DPRD on financial region supervision. Third, knowledge of council about budget affect towards the role members of DPRD on financial region supervision. The suggestions for further research, research instrument of variable education and trainning, organizational experience, experience in DPRD should be developed. Measurement of variable length of employment in government should be developed.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to examine the influence of several factors of Internal Control Systems (control environment, risk assessment, control activities, information and communication, and monitoring) on the quality of local government financial statements. The population in this study are all working in SKPD Manokwari. The sample in this study is the head of department and the staff/employees of the financial part. Our sample are 45 respondents. The samples were selected by using a probability sampling method. Data was collected by distributing questionnaire to the respondents directly concerned. The results show that all independent variables of Internal Control System has a significant effect on the quality of local government financial statements. It then can be concluded that all element factor of Internal Control System is the most effective.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to examine the influence of internal and external factors partially on the performance of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) of industrial sector in Manokwari Regency. Research data is obtained by giving questionnaires and interviews to 34 MSMEs owners of industrial sector in Manokwari Regency. The data was then analyzed by using a multiple linear regression analysis tool. The results of this study indicate that internal factors have no significant influence on the performance of MSMEs. Whereas, external factors have a significant influence on the performance of MSMEs.]]>

<![CDATA[The study aims to determinen: (1) the influence of the use of information technology on the timeliness of local government financial reporting, (2) human resources on the timeliness of local government financial reporting. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study is the number of staff of regional (OPD) in Manokwari regency totaling 1.925 which are devided into 27 OPD. The sampling technique wed 331 random sampling and individuals using the slovin formula. This type of research data is primary data, this study use data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires to respondent, while the primary data source in this study is obtained from respondents’ answer to the questionnaires distributed to respondents’ namely employes OPD. The result of the study conclude that: the use of information technology and human resources has a significant positive effect on the timeliness of local government financial reporting.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leadership style and organizational culture on the performance of employees of PT PLN (Persero) Region of Papua and West Papua Manokwari Area. This research is an associative study using quantitative data. Data sources include primary data and secondary data. The population in this study were all employees of PT PLN (Persero) in the Papua and West Papua Areas of the Manokwari Area. The sampling method uses simple random sampling with the number of respondents 67 employees. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression. The results showed that, both partially (t test) and simultaneously (F test), leadership style and organizational culture had a significant effect on employee performance. Adjusted R Square value of 0.495 shows that 49.5% of the variation in the performance of employees of PT PLN (Persero) in the Papua and West Papua Areas of Manokwari is influenced by leadership style and organizational culture.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effectiveness of tax collection rate hotels and restaurants and their contribution to Local Revenue in Manokwari Regency in the period of 2014 – 2018. Methods of data collection in this study is the observation non-participant. The variable in this study is the ratio of the effectiveness and contribution to the Local Revenue. Data analysis in this study is quantitative analysis. According to data analysis, the average effective tax collection hotel and restaurants in the Manokwari Regency years 2014 – 2018 amounted to 91 percent, which is categorized effective, while the average contribution of tax revenue hotels and restaurants in the same period is 10,82 percent, which is grouped in a less good category.]]>

<![CDATA[Agriculture, forestry and fishery sector has an important role in generating the economic growth in Tambrauw Regency. It can be seen from the amount of its contribution to the gross value added which is more that 33 percent. The aim of this study is to identify and analyse the potential subsector of agriculture, forestry and fisheries sector in Tambrauw Regency. By using Location Quotient (LQ) Method and Shift Share analysis and supported by a time series data of GDP growth between the study area and reference area in the recent five years the potential subsectors can be determined. The research result reveals that food plant, horticulture group and forestry and logging subsector are the potential subsectors to promote the regional income due to their location quotient greater than 1 and have positive competitive advantage values.]]>

<![CDATA[increasing regional revenue. For a region with limited potential of its’ natural resources it will be a challenge in an attempt to maximize the potential of the region. One of the effort to maximize the regional revenue is by optimizing potential in the tourism sector. Types of data in this research are secondary data such as tourist numbers, consumer price index, General Allocation Grant, and Local Revenue of Wonosobo Regency. The analytical tool is multiple regression analysis with statistical tests and classical assumption. This research aimed to understand the effect of the number of visits tourist, consumer price index, and General Allocation Grant against the Local Revenue of Wonosobo Regency from 2015 to 2017. The results of the regression processing of short-term models show that the consumer price index variable has a significant effect on Regional Original Income with a probability value of 0.0090 smaller than the real level α = 5%. While the variable number of visitors and General Allocation Funds did not have a significant effect on Regional Original Income with a probability value greater than the real level α = 5%.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the correlation of climate change on the quality and quantity of yields, technological change, and rice farmers' income in Manokwari Regency (case study of farmers in Prafi District). This type of research is quantitative associative. The type of data used is primary data obtained through an observation and interview approach to rice farmers to explain the relationship of climate change to income, rice quality and technological changes made in the Prafi District of Manokwari Regency. And secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Agriculture and Food Security Agency of Manokwari Regency. The data collection method uses the method of observation, interviews, questionnaires and literature methods. While the analysis method uses crosstabs analysis (cross tabulation). With the significance test using chi-square analysis. The results showed there was no correlation of climate change on the quality and quantity of yields, technological change, and rice farmers' income in Manokwari Regency.]]>
