Abstract

This study aims to find out how much forecasting the production of concrete brick at CV. Sinar Sowi. The data analysis method used is the Exponential Smoothing method by using forecasting error measurements namely Mean Square Error (MSE) and Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD). From the data that has been analyzed, the writer can conclude that the use of alpha model 0.1 Exponential Smoothing method, the value of the Exponential Smoothing method, the value of Mean Square Error is 11,114,950 and the value of Mean Absolute Deviation is 962. The use of alpha 0.5 model Exponential Smoothing method, the value of Mean Square Error is 1,114,776 and the value of Mean Absolute Deviation is 305. While the use of the alpha 0.9 model is Exponential Smoothing, the Mean Square Error value is -9.374 and the Mean Absolute Deviation value is -28. Of the three existing alpha models, namely 0.1; 0.5 and 0.9, then what will be used in forecasting is alpha 0.9 because the error value is the lowest, namely the Mean Square Error of -9,374 and Mean Absolute Deviation is -28. From the calculation of concrete brick forecasting at CV. Sinar Sowi in Manokwari Regency, the forecasting results were 39,698 units.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Break Even Point of mining of sirtu at PT. Klawafun Alam Lestari Provinsi Papua Barat. The method used in this research is quantitative method. Break Even Point shows the point where income is equal to cost. Intended costs are variable costs and fixed costs. Where fixed costs consist of capital costs and labor costs, while variable costs consist of production costs. From the results of data collection and calculation, the fixed cost is Rp. 9,501,158,600 and variable cost of Rp. 48,972/m3, at the selling price of sirtu Rp. 150.000/m³. From the analysis, Break Even Point of mining of sirtu is obtained when the minimum mining production reaches 94,045 m³/year with an income of Rp. 14,106,720,810.07/year.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the positive association of government expenditure on health (PK) with Maternal Mortality Rate (AKIM) and Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) with government expenditure on education in East Java Province. Analysis of the data in this study uses the analysis of ARIMA multivariate time series models. The ARIMA model has three modeling parameters, namely: (1) Autoregressive or AR processes, (2) Integrated or I processes, and (3) Moving Average or MA processes. The results showed that the reduction in infant mortality rate (IMR) was positively associated with the East Java Provincial government spending on health (PBK) and government spending on health was not significantly associated with the reduction in maternal mortality (AKIM).

Abstract

Financial ratios are employed in this research to measure the influence of profitability, solvency and price to book value on stock return in restaurant, hotel and tourism companies which are listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange from period 2014 – 2018. The objectives of this study was to provide empirical findings whether profitability, solvency and price to book value have a significant influence on stock return. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to identify the strength of the effect of Return On Assets (ROA), Return On Equity (ROE), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Price to Book Value (PBV) on stock return simultaneously and partially. The result of this study indicates that simultaneously ROA, ROE, DER and PBV have a significant effect on stock return and there is a positive significant effect of return on assets on stock return. Whereas price to book value has a negative significant effect on stock return in restaurant, hotel and tourism companies listed on IDX. Furthermore, return on equity and debt to equity ratio have no significant impact on stock return. Among the predictor variables, the data analysis showed that return on assets is the most important predictor variables in this regression model.

Abstract

Special Economic Zones (SEZ) are one of the drivers of economic activity supported by various investment activities. The development of Sorong City SEZ is marked by the increasing interest of investors in developing their businesses, both in the industrial sector which has an impact on the formation of added value in the form of increased income and output of the GRDP, as well as in other economic sectors. The analysis of the data collected was done descriptively and tabulated to see changes in income over the past 5 years. The results obtained indicate that there has been an increase in income planning in each region (Sorong Regency, Raja Ampat Regency and Sorong City). Sorong City per capita income which is more dominant shows that the added value of the service sector is more competitive compared to other sectors. The development of Sosong City as a central KEK has encouraged the development of Sorong Regency and Raja Ampat Regency, so that it is important to note that the two regencies must be able to encourage the production factors which become inputs to the development of Sorong City. An important factor that must be considered in the development of the SEZ is the increase in population capacity as a factor of production and the development of home industries that utilize local raw materials to support the leading sectors in each region of the SEZ, so as to spur an increase in public income.
