Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the optimal competition between the two beverage businesses. Research Methodology: Collecting data using the questionnaire filling method and for data processing using queuing theory with pure strategy and dominant strategy. Result: Then it is found that game theory in the competition between Street Boba and Kamsia Boba is said to be optimal if the variables/attributes of service, marketing, and packaging quality on Street Boba, as well as service, marketing, and packaging quality attributes on Kamsia Boba are said to be optimal. Limitation: In this study, we will analyze the competition between the Street Boba and Kamsia Boba beverage businesses by using six attributes such as product, price, service, marketing, packaging quality, and labor. Contribution: This research can contribute to economic and academic development. In terms of economics, this research can be used to understand a good marketing strategy for business actors. And in the academic field, it can be used by academics to learn more about the methods used.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the effect of R&D investment, the volume of e-commerce transactions, and e-commerce companies’ employees on economic growth in Indonesia for the period 2010Q1 – 2020 Q4. Research methodology: The analytical method used in this study is OLS (Ordinary Least Square) and a method using time series data in the form of quarterly from 2010 to 2020. In conducting this research the author uses the help of the E-views 9 analysis tool. Results: The results of this study are that the variables of R&D investment, e-commerce companies’ employees, and the volume of e-commerce transactions have a partial or joint effect on economic growth in Indonesia from 2010 Q1 to 2020 Q4. Limitations: This research is limited by several factors, among others; R&D investment, e-commerce companies’ employees, and volume of e-commerce transactions. Contribution: The results obtained from this research are expected to be one of the references in making policy directions based on the data presented to adjust the right policies, especially to achieve economic digitization in Indonesia.

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to find demand and market structure for the cement trade industry in Gedong Tataan Subdistrict, Pesawaran District. Research Methodology: : The analytical method used in this research is quantitative with interviews,  questionnaires, literature study, and regression.  Result: Cement prices have a negative significant effect on cement demand, but product quality and consumer services have a positive significant effect on cement demand. The structure of the cement trading services market belongs to a monopolistic market. Limitations: The limitation of this study is using primary data Contribution: Some markets set prices according to the wishes of the actors themselves without following company rules, that is what causes some actors to discriminate. because it belongs to a monopolistic market, each company must implement a non-price policy. Meanwhile, from the performance aspect, it shows that the condition is very achieved. Therefore, there must be efforts from traders such as improvements in terms of products, prices, cleanliness of places and storage.

Abstract

Purpose: The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of e-WOM, Image, and Facilities in tourism destinations because those three variables are connected and are used to build visitors’ perception of a tourist destination and serve as some of the determinant factors of tourist satisfaction. Methodology: This research is using a quantitative approach by distributing survey questionnaires to 120 respondents. However, the fully filled-up questionnaire is only 100. Results: The result of the survey questionnaire is analyzed using SPSS 25 software with descriptive statistics and regression analysis. In this research, e-WOM is not influencing the satisfaction of visitors to Purwodadi Botanical Garden. However, images and facilities are influencing the visitors' satisfaction. All three variables are simultaneously influencing the visitor satisfaction of Purwodadi Botanical Garden so the management has to improve all those aspects. Limitation: This research has limitation because it is only investigating the influence of three variables to visitor satisfaction namely: e-WOM, image, and facilities. Other researchers are expected to study the influence of other variables to visitor satisfaction. Contributions: This research is filling up the gap of research on visitor satisfaction based on the influence of e-WOM, image, and facilities in Purwodadi Botanical Garden. Until this research is conducted, there are no other researcher conducting the research with the same variables on visitor satisfaction in Purwodadi Botanical Garden. The result of this research is expected to give insight to Purwodadi Botanical Garden to improve on visitor satisfaction.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to determine the effect of Job Satisfaction and Job Stress on Employee Turnover Intention. Research Methodology: This study uses "Literature Review" which uses Google Scholar to collect data from online journal article literature. Results: The results of this study show that Job Satisfaction and Job Stress have a significant effect on Turnover Intention. Limitations: This research was only conducted for employees in one company. These variables include Job Satisfaction and Job Stress to see their effect on Turnover Intention. Contribution: The researcher hopes that this research will be able to provide management with an overview of what conditions occur in the company, and hope to provide insight into managing the company and creating a good working atmosphere so that it can affect Employee Turnover Intention.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to determine whether there is a significant influence between communication and the work environment on job satisfaction. Research Methodology: The study uses “Literature Review” which use Google Scholar to collect data from online journal article literature. Result: The result of this writing is that communication and work environment affect job satisfaction. Limitation: This research was only conducted on employees in a company, these variables include communication, work environment and job satisfaction. Contribution: This research is expected to be useful for companies in realizing effective communication and a good work environment, so that there is an increase in job satisfaction for employees.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to determine the effect of the work environment, training and motivation on employee job satisfaction. Methodology: In this method using a literature review using Google Scholar to be compiled and summarized in this study, in addition to the literature review it also uses references from various written data sources. Mendley and Google Scholar were widely used to write this article. Results: the results of this study can be said that motivation is not significant to employee job satisfaction that occurs in CV. We Succeed Independently. but in the system the variables of training and work environment variables are significant. meaning that motivation is an obstacle in this research but not too serious. Limitations: This research was only conducted on employees in the company. These variables include work environment, training and motivation to see the effect on employee job satisfaction. Contribution: The researcher hopes that this research can provide management with an overview of what conditions are currently happening in the company, and hope to provide insight into managing the company and creating a good working atmosphere so that it can have a positive influence on employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aimed to determine the performance of CV. Tidar Jaya what kind of employee performance occurs during work Constraints in the work discipline that occur in this company that cause this research to take place in a less optimal work discipline make it less able to do a job that is undertaken. In this study, we also examined the communication system and work environment; however, for these variables, everything was significant. Methodology: A literature review using the Google Scholar tool was conducted and summarized in this study. In addition to the literature review, it also used references from various written data sources. Mendley and Google Scholar were widely used to write this article. Results: The results of this study indicate that discipline is not significant for employee performance in CV. Tidar Jaya. However, in a communication system, work environment variables are significant. means that discipline becomes an obstacle in this research but is not too serious. Limitations: This literature review explains the role of work environment, discipline, and work communication on employee performance. Contribution: This research can contribute to readers and anyone who wants to conduct research on work environment, discipline, and communication on employee performance. If someone wants to conduct the research and read what happened in this research, they can better conclude what they should make.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to determine the effect of product quality, price and loyalty on Nako coffee consumer satisfaction. Methodology: This study uses the "Literature Review" method using Google Scholar to obtain data from online journal article literature. Results: The results of this study indicate that product quality, price and loyalty have a significant effect on customer satisfaction of Nako coffee. Limitations: This research was only conducted on Nako coffee consumers. These variables include product quality, price and loyalty to see the effect on customer satisfaction of Nako coffee. Contribution: The researcher hopes that this research can provide an overview to the company about the conditions that are currently happening in the company, and hope to provide insight into managing the company and creating good quality so that it can have a positive influence on customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the SWOT of the University of Melaka Malaysia to formulate a development strategy for the University of Nahdlatul Ulama Surakarta. Research Methodology: This type of research includes qualitative field research and uses SWOT analysis as an analytical knife. Data collection techniques included interviews, documentaries,, and observation methods from February 12 to 15, 2023 at the University of Melaka Malaysia. Results: The findings of this study indicate that four alternatives can be developed for Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surakarta: SO, WO, ST, and WT strategies. The SO strategy includes institutions, curricula, and student development. The two WO strategies covered employment, infrastructure, and student affairs. The three ST strategies are curriculum, institutions, management, and infrastructure. The four WT strategies covered infrastructure, foreign relations, employment, and student affairs. Limitation: This study focuses on two tertiary institutions, namely the University of Melaka and the University of Nahdlatul Ulama Surakarta. Contribution: First, it can be used as evaluation material for the University of Melaka. Second, it can be an opportunity for Nahdlatul Ulama University to collaborate with the University of Melaka as a higher education development strategy. Novelty: Based on the literature review that the authors explain in this article, it shows that the renewal of this research is to use the results of the SWOT analysis at Melaka University to formulate a development strategy for Nahdlatul Ulama University, Surakarta.
