Abstract

The attendance system in education field is generally done manually, including school attendance, where this is very inefficient because there are often errors during the recapitulation process of student attendance data. The aim of this study is to design a Student Attendance Information System Using a Web Based QR Code to provide convenience in managing student attendance data. The type of research was Research and Development (R&D) with a Waterfall development model consisting of several stages, which are: Needs Analysis, System Design, Implementation, Testing, and Maintenance. The resulting system tested by using Black box test and validated by a system expert with the result is "Excellent" category which is validated by using usability aspect analysis through a questionnaire and the result of calculating the converted value is "Very Good". It shows that the Student Attendance Information System by using this Web-Based QR Code can provide convenience in managing data efficiently and make the attendance process more practical

Abstract

Fingerprint image recognition in computer applications is still rarely done, as in SMK Negeri 7 Pinrang which still elects student council presidents manually using paper media. The purpose of this study is to use fingerprint devices as a tool to obtain fingerprint data for students who will vote quickly and to reduce fraud that occurs in the election process. The problems that are often found in manual/traditional elections, fraud often occurs and require a large amount of money so that a new method is needed to solve this problem, namely by using a digital voting system or e-voting. This research is experimental in nature, where this type of research is direct field data collection which starts from directly observing conditions in the field, conducting interviews, collecting data, then processing it. The results of the tests carried out in this application have a 100% correct system success rate, system testing uses the Black Box Test and White Box Test and the system runs as expected in accordance with the design that has been made. So that the form of fraud in the process of selecting the student council chairman is no longer found

Abstract

A Detection or identification of student learning styles has a significant role in improving the teaching and learning process. Teachers who are aware of the diverse learning styles of their students can make learning adaptations or prepare learning instructions appropriately, while students who are aware of their learning styles can adapt their learning methods so as to produce better learning process outcomes. However, detecting student learning styles is complex and challenging and there are various factors that can affect the accuracy of detection. Various literature studies on detecting student learning styles note that there are various problems that occur in Virtual Based Learning Education (VBLE), namely the lack of investigations regarding the suitability of teaching and learning styles making it difficult to increase student learning motivation, the traditional instructions of some teachers which are still in conflict with the student learning style system so that it is difficult to adapt to the learning environment and most students do not know effective learning and do not pay the necessary attention to their learning style. This study aims at two (2) things, the first is to detect the learning styles of private high school students (SMAS) in VBLE with the Decision Tree (DT) C4.5 and Naive Bayes (NB) algorithms and the second is to compare the performance of DT and NB algorithms for the context of style detection. private high school students study on VBLE. Data collection was carried out using a google form questionnaire on 252 respondonce consist of alumni and students through 30 questions about learning styles. Student learning styles are identified as visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning styles. For data analysis, the Google Colab tool is used with Python programming. While the process of evaluating the performance of the algorithm is measured using the parameters accuracy, precision, recall/sensitivity, f-measure and time consumption. The results showed that the DT and NB algorithms were good at predicting SMAS learning styles, but the NB algorithm (98%) was slightly better than the DT algorithm (96%) in terms of accuracy, precision, memory/sensitivity, f-measure, while for time consumption DT (0,00505 seconds) much faster than NB(3,2895 seconds). This research contributes in two (2) ways, first scientifically by testing the DT and NB algorithms for detecting learning styles of SMAS students in the VBLE context and practically providing recommendations to education stakeholders namely teachers, students, student guardians and education policymakers to further pay attention to the detection of student learning styles

Abstract

The development of information and technology continues to increase, especially in the field of information, so it is very helpful in carrying out daily activities and activities. It is easy for people to access a variety of fast and accurate information, making the use of technology increasingly popular with all people. The information referred to here is information based on computer technology which is developing very fast, both in hardware and software. One of the applications of a practical money payment information system is using a website-based information system. The website is used in the application because the website is a place for user interaction. The website is used within the company to make it easier to access or input financial data in making practical payments. This study aims to facilitate the payment of internship money by designing a web-based information system. The existence of this system can make it easier for students to get information about paying internship money. And make it easier for Lkp Utama Jaya in the process of managing data for internship payments. The method used in this study uses qualitative methods. The design of a web-based practical money payment information system at Lkp Utama Jaya was built with the CI 3 Framework PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) programming language and mysql database and for the ex-editor it used the Visual Studio Code application. The results of the research have been successfully implemented so that it is expected to be able to help students to find out information about payment of internship money more easily

Abstract

Technological Technological developments affect the process of improving various fields of community service, one of which is education. The form of improving the quality of services in the field of education is e-learning at SMAN 2 Tabanan. The use of LMS is relatively new and a review is needed so that it can be used both online and offline. The quality measurement of SMAN 2's LMS was carried out to see the results of the evaluation of the LMS system on the success rate of using e-learning in the teaching and learning process. Quality measurement is carried out using the PIECES Framework and Equivalence Partitioning methods. The PIECES Framework is a method with six variables and 19 indicators. Equivalence Partitioning is a system test using two outputs, namely valid and invalid. The results of the measurement of the PIECES variable are in the range of values from 3.09 with the Fair category to 3.88 with the indicator category achieving Good results. The results of the Equivalence Partitioning Technique test obtained an effectiveness of 100%, which means that the e-learning functionality has been running well. The Equivalence Partitioning test supports the results of the PIECES questionnaire for providing recommendations for indicators that score below 3.40

Abstract

In the current era, information technology has become increasingly crucial in almost every aspect of work, both within organizations, communities, and industries. The Panca Bhakti Bandar Lampung STIKes laboratory supports students in carrying out practical activities that require them to use specific tools and materials for the lab work. However, the absence of a technology to assist in the borrowing of lab equipment and materials has posed challenges for both the laboratory staff and students. Therefore, a laboratory asset management information system is needed to help laboratory staff in managing data, especially asset borrowing data, and to assist students in requesting lab asset borrowing for their practical needs. The research method will be based on the Human-Centered Design (HCD) approach with Inspiration, Ideation, and Implementation phases. The design result in the form of a prototype will be tested using the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire method to determine whether the laboratory asset management information system design is suitable for use or not. Based on the SUS score of 78.5, which falls under the excellent category, it can be concluded that the application design is suitable for use

Abstract

At this time BAPENDA has been following globalization developments in the field of information technology which is useful for supporting the operational performance of financial management in a fast, accurate, precise and quality manner. At BAPENDA there is an information technology application, namely SISMIOP or an extension of the Information System and Management of Tax Objects. This study aims to find out how the perceptions of BAPENDA staff in Kab. Pemalang regarding the SISMIOP application or information system and management of tax objects, this study will explore system users through questionnaires given to district Bapenda office staff. Pemalang, in order to improve the service quality system. This analysis will facilitate the delivery of information to those who use it and those who need it. This study uses the UEQ method or the abbreviation of User Experience Questionnaire, because UEQ is quite efficient and effective for measuring User Experience. UEQ has 26 questions with a linear scale of 1 to 7. UEQ measures 6 user experience factors, namely attractiveness, perspicuity, efficiency, dependability, stimulation, and novelty. . The results of the research on measurement for each aspect obtained attractiveness values ??of 1,767, perspicuity of 1,800, efficiency of 1,600, dependability of 2,050, stimulation of 1,800, novelty of 1,550. On all scales get a positive impression. The benchmark results show that the dependability and stimulation aspects are included in the excellent criteria (very very), while other aspects are included in the good criteria

Abstract

Ignorance of telecommunications companies regarding the reasons and characteristics of customer churn causes telecommunications companies to suffer huge losses. This makes customer churn a big problem for telecommunications companies. This study uses data mining with classification techniques as a solution to analyze customer churn characteristics. This research will use Rapid Miner and the C4.5 algorithm to carry out the data mining process. . The purpose of this research is to find out what are the characteristics of customer churn so that companies can make policies that can retain customers and increase customer retention. This research is based on CRISP-DM. Data taken from kaggle.com with 21 attributes and 7034 rows of data and data preparation will be carried out. From the research results it is known that there are 5 attributes that have a considerable influence on customer churn, namely contracts, InternetService, TotalChares, tenure, PaperlessBilling, MultipleLines, StreamingMovies. And from the results of this study has an accuracy rate of 79.53%.

Abstract

Universitas Teknologi Sumbawa adalah salah satu Perguruan Tinggi Swasta yang berada di Kabupaten Sumbawa, dalam pelayanannya Universitas Teknologi Sumbawa menyediakan informasi berupa website baik informasi pengenalan Universitas ataupun yang berkaitan dengan seputar perkuliahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa serangan DDoS pada website Universitas Teknologi Sumbawa. Serangan Distributed Denial of Service menjadi salah satu pilihan hacker karena telah terbukti menjadi ancaman didunia internet. Serangan DDoS dapat membuat suatu website menjadi lambat atau bahkan down. Pada penelitian ini melakukan pengujian serangan DDoS menggunkan Low Orbit Ion Cannon (LOIC) pada website kemudian menganalisa serangan DDoS dan memonitoring lalu lintas jaingan menggunakan wireshark. Hasil dari penelitian ini Website UTS meliki keamanan yang baik diketahu dari hasil pengujian serangan DDoS yang walaupun sudah dilakukan penyerangan dari 500, 1000,5000 hingga 10.000 Packet website masih tetap bisa diakses walaupun lambat. Rekomendasi keamanan website dengan menerapkann teknik blacklist IP dan firewall untuk mengantisipasi terjadinya serangan DDoS

Abstract

This study discusses the design and development of a website for calculating progressive income tax on Performance Allowance (Tukin) in the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud). There are often issues in the manual calculation process of Tukin tax, resulting in errors and consuming a lot of time. To overcome these problems, this research proposes the use of a website that can perform fast and accurate calculations. The utilization of information technology in this process provides various benefits, including improving efficiency, facilitating access, and ensuring transparency in tax calculations. With this website, employees can understand and calculate their taxes more effectively and accurately. In this research, the development method known as Extreme Programming was used. The programming language used was PHP, while Bootstrap and CodeIgniter were used as frameworks. The implementation carried out in this research demonstrates how the appropriate technology and development methods can simplify the tax calculation process and improve accuracy. The result of this research is a well-functioning website for calculating progressive Tukin tax. The website was also tested using black box method with various conditions, and the results met the desired expectations. Therefore, it is expected that this website can be widely used and help improve the overall Tukin tax calculation process in Kemendikbud, significantly enhancing efficiency and accuracy
