Abstract

Nowadays, many Muslims are not interested in reading and memorizing the Al-Qur'an. Therefore, an application is needed that can make it easier for Muslims to read, memorize and repeat this memorization. It is hoped that the Fun Murojaah application will be able to overcome this problem. The Fun Murojaah application is a mobile application that can test or memorize the Al-Qur'an as an effort to increase enthusiasm and development in the Al-Qur'an memorization program. This application is an application to help repeat and improve memorization of the Al-Qur'an in the form of a fun quiz game. So it is hoped that this application can help whenever memorizers of the Al-Qur'an want to try the Al-Qur'an memorization test. The aim of the research is to assess user satisfaction with the application using the End-User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) method and identify factors that influence user satisfaction. The research began with a literature review and observations to identify problems. The conceptual model was then developed based on previous research, which consists of five variables Content, Accuracy, Format, Ease Of Use, and Timeliness. The sample in the study was 385 users. Questionnaires were developed and distributed to respondents. Data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method. The research results show that accuracy, format, and ease of use have a significant influence on user satisfaction with an influence value of 68.6% on user satisfaction and the format has the largest path coefficient value, namely 0.334. The values of the content and timeliness factors are not very significant because the test results have a content value of 0.167 and a timeliness value of 1.692, both of which have low values. The reliability and validity of the measurement instruments were also assessed and were satisfactory. These findings can be used by developers to improve app design and functionality, ultimately improving user experience and satisfaction.

Abstract

Inventory has a very important role in the company, because it indirectly influences the company's income. If a company does not have inventory, it will experience the risk of not being able to fulfill consumer desires. One data mining technique that can help in processing data to obtain useful information is clustering. The aim of this research is to group inventory of goods, by attributes, initial quantity, quantity sold, and quantity available. Management of inventory data using data mining techniques with the elbow and K-Medoid methods. Then the data that has been grouped can make it easier for stores to determine inventory carefully in terms of procuring stock of goods or products. The results of this research are the use of the elbow method in determining the optimal number of clusters using Python at point 7 (cluster). The clustering results using the k-medoid method with elbow show 7 clusters using the RapidMiner tool. Cluster 0 has 145 products, cluster 1 has 135 products, cluster 2 has 200 products, cluster 3 has 76 products, cluster 4 has 101 products, cluster 5 has 208 products, and cluster 6 has 135 products. Where cluster grouping is based on initial quantity, sold quantity and available quantity with the same or similar value. Clustering results using the k-medoid method without elbows, the clustering process uses 3 clusters with the RapitMiner tool. Cluster 0 has 169 products, cluster 1 has 410 products, and cluster 2 has 421 products. Cluster 0 grouping is based on quantity sold and available quantity, the value is the same, cluster grouping 1 is based on greater quantity sold, and cluster grouping 2 is based on greater quantity available. From the two analysis results it can be seen that the analysis using the k-medoid method with elbows is quite good because in determining the optimal number of clusters using the elbow method and the clustering results in grouping inventory are more effective.

Abstract

National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) is an institution responsible for managing zakat established by the government. BAZNAS has a presence in every district or city, and one of them is the BAZNAS in the city of Pekanbaru. BAZNAS in Pekanbaru city is responsible for distributing zakat to various empowerment programs, one of which is the Pekanbaru Cares program. Currently, BAZNAS in Pekanbaru city is facing issues related to the method of distributing zakat, where the process of determining the criteria for zakat recipients is still being done manually by the committee of BAZNAS in the city of Pekanbaru. This condition is considered inefficient and poses one of the challenges that need to be addressed. To overcome the mentioned constraints, steps are needed to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of data collection for potential zakat recipients. One of the solutions is to implement a classification system to facilitate the data collection process, using the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) method. This approach functions as a tool to classify data for potential beneficiaries. This research aims to classify data and measure the accuracy in assessing the eligibility of zakat recipients based on predetermined criteria, utilizing the K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) algorithm. A total of 602 data from BAZNAS in the city of Pekanbaru were used in this study, by dividing the training and test data, namely divided 90:10, 80:20, and 70:30 splits. The evaluation results from the confusion matrix of k=3, k=5, k=7, k=9, and k=11 show that the highest accuracy is achieved at k=5 with an 80:20 split, with an accuracy rate of 89.3%. Furthermore, a precision of 87.3% and a recall of 91.4% can also be attained through this approach.

Abstract

The development of information technology has been highly significant, enabling users to access data or information quickly, effectively, and accurately. However, the company's data management system still relies on manual methods, including attendance and payroll systems, leading to administrative inefficiencies and an increased potential for errors in record-keeping and accounting. This research aims to design a web-based information system with geolocation technology, employing a waterfall methodology involving requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Developed using the Codeigniter framework, this web application is tailored to the company's specific needs while considering employee requirements. A new paradigm in human resource management encourages the creation of effective web-based solutions for employee payroll and attendance. Geolocation is implemented as a security measure, with a specific radius limitation. The web application development process follows a waterfall methodology, involving requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The application is expected to provide an innovative and practical solution for managing payroll and attendance while addressing the needs of employees. Therefore, the designed employee data management information system has successfully achieved its objectives and provides an integrated solution to enhance the employee data management process through the utilization of website-based geolocation.

Abstract

The classification of public sentiment towards Ganjar Pranowo on Twitter can provide insights into his popularity, support, or criticism. This research aims to classify public sentiment towards Ganjar Pranowo on Twitter using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) method. The research data consists of 4000 tweets collected from Twitter. After undergoing preprocessing, these tweets are classified using SVM into positive or negative classes. The classification method is optimized to produce the most optimal model by testing the influence of feature selection stages and SVM parameter tuning. The data is divided into 80% training (TRAIN_SET) and 20% testing (TEST_SET). The optimal model is validated using 10% of the randomly selected TRAIN_SET for validation data. Sixteen experiments are conducted to explore the optimal model, with the highest validation results (top rank 4 models) tested on the TEST_SET, yielding F1-scores of 84.13%, 84.13%, 84.13%, and 84.13% for experiment IDs 1, 7, 14, and 16, respectively. In this research, SVM proves to be sufficiently effective in classifying sentiment-related tweets about Ganjar Pranowo on Twitter

Abstract

When someone chooses a major, they will focus on a particular area of study throughout their learning period. Usually, each department has a curriculum that has been specially prepared to provide in-depth understanding, specific skills and knowledge in that discipline. Decisions in choosing a major are often based on personal interests, talents, environmental influences, including parental views and personal career goals. Some courses may have specific entry requirements or may involve developing specific skills over the course of your studies. Apart from that, choosing a major can also influence the direction and career you will follow after graduating. Therefore, it is very important to make careful decisions and obtain the views of educational advisors or career counselors according to personal educational and career goals. This research discusses studies at a high school, where there are only two major choices, namely science and social studies. In the process of selecting majors, schools use special selection methods other than the general test route. The problem that arises is the need for flexibility and accuracy in decision making. To overcome this problem, researchers used a decision support system method by combining the ROC and SAW methods. ROC is used to calculate criteria weights, while SAW is used to assess preferences. The results of applying these two methods show that the initial major choices made by students are often different from the majors determined using these two methods. A total of five students were assigned to major in science, including alternatives A2, A3, A7, A8 and A10, while five other students were assigned to major in social sciences, namely alternatives A1, A4, A5, A6 and A9.

Abstract

Various government institutions endeavored to transition towards a e-government system. This initiative aimed to enhance public services, rendering them transparent, effective, and efficient. It enabled citizens to participate in developing and improving public services in Yogyakarta, regardless of time and place. As part of the broader strategy to transition to a e-government system, one practical approach involved leveraging mobile computing devices, such as Android-based mobile applications. Android-based mobile application was used to capture the public's aspirations, thereby fostering the creation of a public opinion that could serve as a benchmark for relevant authorities. This study used an ethnographic approach to identify the features within social media that facilitated the formation of online public opinion. Furthermore, the application utilized GPS technology to pinpoint the locations associated with each aspiration and complaint. All data was securely stored in the Firebase Database, ensuring accessibility and data integrity. Based on the outcomes of this system, this Android application played a pivotal role in categorizing aspirations and complaints based on multiple factors, including user engagement metrics such as comments, likes, and shares, as well as user interactions and content relevance. Notably, content garnered higher engagement levels was more likely to reach a broader and more diverse audience. This research will produce an application that provides insights into recognizing the diverse preferences and affiliations of the community. By doing so, the system can help local government to make informed decisions that align more closely with the needs and desires of their community, thereby contributing to an enhanced and responsive governance framework

Abstract

The Qur'an, as a guide to life for Muslims, has given birth to various disciplines such as tafsir science, fiqh science, hadith science, nahwu science, and balaghah science. However, the limited number of websites on learning and understanding the Qur'an is a problem that can hinder Muslims from exploring the contents of the Qur'an. To overcome this problem, the Quranpedia project was initiated. Quranpedia is a web-based application designed to resemble Wikipedia in providing in-depth explanations of derivative words in the Qur'an. Using the "Scraping" technique, Quranpedia collects data from various sources to provide a comprehensive explanation of nouns in the Qur'an and Hadith. One of the main challenges in this project was to find the common root of nouns in the Qur'an and hadith. To overcome this challenge, a method was used to transform words from sentences to their root words. Thus, Quranpedia can have the ability to look up the root word of a noun. This allows users to have a better understanding of derivative words in the Qur'?n and how they are used in different contexts. The objective of this research is to create a derivative word scraping program that scrapes all derivative words in the Quran from the Corpus Quran web accurately. The problem discussed in this research covers both how one can scrape derivative words of each root word in the Quran from the Corpus Quran web and whether the data scraped from the web is complete and accurate. The method to ensure that these problems are solved includes using the Python programming language to create the program and then testing the program itself. The interim results achieved is whether the data is complete or not

Abstract

Society's demands on the quality of educational services are increasing from time to time. Along with the rapid development of science and technology, educational institutions at various levels and levels of education can no longer stand idly by to preserve the cultural capabilities and performance of a school, but must be persistent in innovating changes in various aspects so as not to be left behind by the people who live in in the era of globalization. Realizing this, schools as agents of change in society must always make changes in accordance with the dynamics of community development in the development of science and technology. Computer-based information technology is one medium that is quite effective in managing school academic information systems. One effort that can be used as a best practice flagship program for a school education institution is the creation of a school website which is seen as a golden bridge for achieving a bright future, moreover on this website there is a system that allows monitoring of student scores as evaluation material that can be monitored by parents/guardians in various places where processing can be done online. Besides that, various school information is also the main attraction for the community in viewing the image of the school. For this reason, it is appropriate for educational institutions to have websites as a means of communication between teachers, students and student guardians. In addition, the school's website can also be an information center for visitors and those who wish to continue their education at a higher level. MAN 2 Aceh Tengah is a madrasa education institution which was founded in 1992 in Central Aceh district. This MAN is classified as a school that has been around for a long time, so a website is needed to convey information to the public about school profiles, school facilities, school organizations, and others. The objectives of this research include designing and creating academic information system applications using the PHP and MySQL programming languages as databases, providing facilities and convenience for teachers and students in finding out school information and helping the public obtain complete and fast school information through this online website. as well as helping to promote MAN 2 Aceh Tengah. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see the effectiveness of employees from the work from home (WFH), work from office (WFO) and WFH-WFO (hybrid) methods after the Covid-19 pandemic PPKM (Implementation of Restrictions on Community Activities) was revoked by the government in December 2022 This research is a descriptive research using a survey method using a purposive sampling technique, in which the authors distribute questionnaires to respondents from 100 employees to ask for their opinion. Respondents are employees of the telecommunications sector in one of the telecommunications companies in the city of Medan. The survey period was conducted for one month in January 2023. The Covid-19 pandemic has changed many patterns of human life, one of which is the work from home, work from office, and hybrid work systems. With the announcement of the end of the Covid-19 PPKM in Indonesia, researchers wanted to find out how much influence the effectiveness of employees who had previously been accustomed to working patterns during the Covid-19 pandemic, this is what is discussed in this article. There are four criteria in determining the effectiveness of employees after the Covid-19 pandemic PPKM. The first criterion is productivity, then flexibility, then communication and the last is administration. From the results of the data processing, some data was generated showing that employees preferred the WFH work system, namely with the highest ranking value of 0.4734, which was still carried out after the PPKM information was revoked by the government, because with this working method employees are more flexible, can work at any time and feel more protected and considered comfortable to complete the job.
