Abstract

Hypertension is a health problem that many elderly suffer from. Blood pressure in the elderly with hypertension can be controlled in various ways, namely doing physical activity regularly, performing activities related to cognitive function, and controlling stress levels so as not to affect contractions or pulsations of the heart and nervous system that can cause blood pressure to increase. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of partner support with physical, mental, and social activities of the elderly with hypertension. This study used a correlational non-experimental design with a cross-sectional approach. The number of samples were 102 respondents in the Morokrembangan area, where the sampling used Nonprobability Sampling method, namely Purposive Sampling. The research instrument used partner support questionnaires, Global Physical Activity Questionnaire (GPAQ), mental health practices, social activities and demographic characteristics. The analysis used Spearman Rho test. The results of this study were there was a relationship between partner support with physical activity (p = 0.000; r = 0.589 ), mental activity (p = 0.000; r = 0.778 ), and social activity (p = 0.000; r = 0.671) with positive and unidirectional correlation. As you get older, daily activities will decrease too. The better the support provided by the partner, the higher the level of daily activities carried out by the elderly. Therefore, elderly couples are expected to provide mutual support in carrying out physical, mental, and social activities.

This study uses univariate and bivariate analysis with Chi Square test. Results: based on univariate analysis of 80 people the majority with a high level of knowledge as many as 61 people (76.3%), sufficient motivation as many as 62 people (77.5%) and nutritional status normal children as many as 37 children (46.3%). The results of the bivariate analysis with the chi square test were obtained for the level of knowledge with nutritional status p-value 0.026, and the results of the bivariate analysis of mother's motivation with nutritional status p-value 0.006, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the level of knowledge and motivation of mothers about balanced nutrition with the nutritional status of children aged preschool 3-6 years. Abstract

Chronic kidney disease is a chronic disease that progresses damage to the kidneys which disrupts the body's fluid and electrolyte balance which affects all body systems. PGK is currently it is one of the many diseases that have become a concern in the world including in Indonesia. One phenomenon that often occurs is an increase in fluid volume between two times of dialysis. The purpose of this study was to find out the long relationship between hemodialysis and excess fluid volume status in patients with chronic renal failure in the Hemodialysis room at Ibnu Sina Gresik Hospital. This was an analytical study with a correlative analytic design. Data were collected by using the contingency coefficient. The result of this study shows that older respondents underwent <1 year of hemodialysis with excess fluid status >2,5 BB post HD as much 81,2%, which is more dominant than patients who undergo > 1-year hemodialysis with excess fluid status >2,5 BB post HD as much 58% of the total resulting in p-value 0,103 where p>0,05 so it can be concluded that there is no long relationship to undergo hemodialysis with excess fluid volume status in patients with chronic kidney disease. It is expected that patients undergoing hemodialysis can be more obedient to the recommended diet so that it does not cause other complications and can improve the quality of life patients
