Abstract

Background: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) has become a huge public health problem in the world. In Asy-Syaafi Hospital, COPD is the most commonly found disease after bcronchitis among the patients in out patient unit of lung desease. Self efficacy showed patients’ confidence in independently managing chronic desease. Wheter they want or not to start the treatment is determined by their self efficacy. Peak expiratory flow rate showed condition and problems of lung function and the narrowing or blockage of the airway. Objective: Identify conditions and problems on self efficacy and Peak expiratory flow rate of COPD patients in Asy-Syaafi Hospital Pamekasan, East Java. Method: This research was descriptive study used non analytic cross sectional design, with total sampling, involving 30 respondents. Data were collected with a questionnaire of the COPD self efficacy (CSES) and peak flow meter. Data analysis was performed with a univariate analysis. Results: Self efficacy was in low category with score less than 99 (86.7%) and peak expiratory flow rate was less than <50% of the PEF (90%). Conclusion: Most of COPD self efficacy in Asy-Syaafi Hospital Pamekasan were in not good category and peak expiratory flow rate contained in red zone or the occurrence of major constriction of the airways. Abstract

One of the diseases that is now considered a problem that has received enough attention from the government is HIV and AIDS. Talking about HIV and AIDS means it discusses health issues that are currently quite sensitive to talk about. This relates to the unique nature of this disease. Besides the case which is like an iceberg phenomenon, namely the spread of HIV and AIDS cases that cannot be predicted at the initial phase and also has not found a cure to cure it. The purpose of this study is to obtain in-depth data on the implementation of HIV/AIDS policies in the Model Health Center, whether the policies made by the government run well or not in the field. This research uses a qualitative research method with descriptive research type on June 28, 2019, by interviewing informants and distributing questionnaires. As for the total overall value of the Government Policy Implementation is 235. The value of the implementation of government policies, amounting to 78.33% of the 100% expected results. The overall total value of HIV and AIDS is 83. HIV/AIDS counts in the working area of the Exemplary Health Center, which is 92.22% of the 100% expected results. Conclusions policy implementation has been going well and has been socialized to the community and health services, people at risk and sufferers of  HIV/AIDS in the work area of the Community Health Center already has its own organization where this organization is expected to help achieve the goals of this HIV/AIDS program, and to achieve this goal the Community Health Center conducts activities in the form of mobile clinics where the exemplary Community Health Center goes directly to conduct examinations to the community, and in terms of treatment for patients so far it can be said to be in good category and runs smoothly but there are obstacles where sufferers continue to do things that can trigger the development of the HIV virus although in addition patients continue to take drugs to inhibit and minimize the development of the HIV virus.

Abstract

Leucorrhoea (fluorine Albus / vaginal discharge) is an excessive discharge of non-blood from the female genitals (vagina). Leucorrhoea is often considered normal by the community so that it is not handled properly, but this vaginal discharge could indicate disease. Physiological leucorrhoea is found in the condition before and after menstruation, sexual stimulation, pregnancy, ovulation, and emotional stress. The mentoring method used is to provide health education on reproductive health. The results of the implementation of health education were Al Muqri Parenduan Islamic boarding school students were active, enthusiastic in participating in activities, and active in discussing reproductive health. Activity participants can understand the level of stress on vaginal discharge and can explain again what has been conveyed.

Abstract

Background: Corona Virus Disease-19 is becoming a pandemic. The easy-to-spread nature of the virus which requires good knowledge and good attitude in determining preventive measures to break Covid-19 transmission.Purpose: This study aimed to determine the effect of community-based health education on knowledge and attitudes of Covid-19 prevention.Methods: This is quantitative research with design of quasi-experimental. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling, the samples were 62 people divided into two groups. The intervention group that received the intervention of community-based health education and control group that received a Covid-19 leaflet.Results: The research result found that Mann Whitney U test score of knowledge between intervention and control group after the given intervention was p=0.004. Independent T test score of attitudes between intervention and control group after intervention was p=0.003. The Mann Whitney U test score of knowledge differences (?) between intervention group and the control group after intervention was p=0.002. Mann Whitney U test of attitudes differences (?) between intervention group and the control group after intervention was p=0.000.Conclusion: The research showed that respondents in the intervention group have better knowledge and better attitudes. The community-based health education method can be an alternative option to promote and prevent the spread of Covid-19 infection

Abstract

ASI Eksklusif adalah ASI yang diberikan kepada bayi selama 6 bulan tanpa tambahan cairan maupun makanan lain. Persepsi dapat terjadi saat rangsang mengaktifkan indera atau pada situasi dimana terjadi ketidakseimbangan pengetahuan tentang obyek, symbol, atau orang akan membuat kesalahan persepsi. Timbulnya keraguan di pikiran para ibu ialah tidak cukupnya produksi ASI untuk kebutuhan bayinya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui persepsi kecukupan ASI dengan perilaku pemberian ASI pada bayi 0 – 6 bulan di tempat praktik mandiri bidan Ida Royani. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik observasional dengan desain penelitian Cross Sectional. Sampel sejumlah 44 responden yang memiliki bayi berusia 0 – 6 bulan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner perilaku pemberian ASI. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah Uji Chi Square dengan koefisien korelasi uji pearson. Hasil analisis membuktikan bahwa terdapat hubungan signifikan dan kuat antara persespi kecukupan ASI dengan perilaku ibu dalam pemberian ASI pada bayi 0-6 di kecamatan Gayam di Kabupaten Sumenep

Abstract

Abstract: The Covid-19 pandemic that has hit the world requires the education process to be carried out innovatively, including the education process in Indonesia. At the elementary school level, the use of online learning is recommended by using a platform with a simple operating system such as WhatssApp. The application of online learning requires the readiness of various parties, both from schools, office holders, students, and parents.This research was conducted in grade IV of SDN Aengdake I using qualitative research methods (case studies). This study aimed to describe the obstacles or difficulties faced by teachers and students in learning English online at SDN Aengdake I. In general, there were two factors that underlie the obstacles in learning English online at SDN Aengdake I, they were management and technical factors. In terms of management factors, teachers had difficulty using innovative teaching methods, limited teaching time, and many students lack of discipline in learning process. Abstract

Pola asuh yang kurang tepat dalam keluarga serta ketertarikan pada iklan di media dapat menjadi faktor pemicu perilaku yang menyimpang pada remaja, salah satunya merokok. Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan pola asuh orang tua dan iklan rokok dengan perilaku merokok pada remaja di Kecamatan Bluto. Jenis penelitian ini adalah analitik korelasional dengan metode Cross Sectional. Subjek penelitian yaitu usia remaja (N=76) yang ditentukan melalui teknik Simple Random Sampling (n=38). Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan uji Rank Spearman. Hasil penelitian didapatkan lebih dari setengah orang tua memberikan pola asuh yang kurang baik pada anak (52,6%), lebih dari separuh anak tertarik pada iklan rokok (55,3%), dan hampir separuh anak berperilaku merokok kategori sedang  (44,7%). Ada hubungan antara pola asuh orang tua dan iklan rokok dengan perilaku merokok pada remaja (p=0,000 ; p=0,000). Pola asuh orang tua dan iklan rokok berhubungan dengan perilaku merokok pada remaja. Penelitian selanjutnya dapat membahas lebih mendalam tentang faktor yang paling dominan dan berpengaruh pada keputusan remaja dalam perilaku merokok. Abstract

Background: Patients with diabetes mellitus are at risk for complications of diabetic foot ulcers. This complication can avoid if people with diabetes mellitus have the proper knowledge of self-care management. This study aimed to determine the effect of self-care management education on preventing foot ulcers in patients with type II diabetes mellitus. Methods: The design of this study is quasi-experiment. The number of samples was 86 with a simple randomized sample divided into two groups, 43 in the treatment group caring base supportive educative activities, and 43 in the control group distributing leaflets on diabetes. Results from studies were analyzed using the paired t-test and the independent t- test. Results: These study results are based on independent t-test scores of self-care management in the treatment and control groups after the intervention, namely p = 0.002. The difference in the delta score of self-care management scores in the treatment and control groups after the intervention was p=0.000. Conclusion: The results showed that self-care management education interventions effectively increased the ability of self-care patients with type II diabetes mellitus to prevent complications of diabetic ulcers. This intervention can be a promotive effort to increase self-care independence in patients with type II diabetes mellitus to avoid complications of diabetic wounds.

Abstract

Background: K4 is the fourth prenatal check-up visit for health workers to obtain antenatal care according to standards and to detect complications as early as possible during pregnancy. The K4 coverage in Batang-Batang Daya village, the working area of ​​the Batang-Batang Puskesmas is still below the target in 2018. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between husband's support and the decision of pregnant women in carrying out K4 examinations. Methods: The design of this study is analytic correlational with a cross-sectional study approach, the population of pregnant women in the third trimester of pregnancy in Batang-Batang Daya Village in 2019 was 27 respondents, using total sampling techniques, husband's support data was collected using a valid and reliable questionnaire. K4 examination data used a checklist in the KIA book, and the statistical test used was Chi-Square with an expected value of less than 5. Result: The results showed that most of the pregnant women received support from their husbands as many as 20 people (74.1). Most of the pregnant women underwent a K4 examination (4th pregnancy visit), as many as 20 people (74.1%). The analysis result from the Chi-Square test shows the value (ρ) = 0.000. Conclusion: It can be concluded that the husband's support is related to the decision by pregnant women to carry out K4 examinations. Husbands should always provide support to their wives to carry out routine checks so that pregnant women are motivated to carry out K4 examinations, and are more confident about carrying out their pregnancy.

Abstract

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a public health problem. Shortness of breath is a major problem on patient COPD. The shortness of breath caused decrease of PEF value. The intervention can be done to patients COPD is pursed lips breathing exercise. The method of this research was true experiment, pretest-posttest design with control group involving 30 respondents with random sampling. Treatment group were 15 respondents that provided PLB exercise three times a week for 4 weeks. Control group were 15 respondents that only getting standard treatment from the hospital. Data analysis was performed with paired t test test and independent t test. The results of paired t test on PEF value are p=0.000 for intervention group and p=0.334 for control groups. The result of independent t test in intervention and control groups PEF value p= 0.000. There was influence pursed lips breathing exercise to increased PEF value. There was difference PEF value on treatment group and control group after pursed lips breathing exercise
