Abstract

This type of writing is usually called special fiqh or individual fiqh treatises. In general, these treatises discuss certain issues, or certain branches of the topic of Islamic jurisprudence, with in-depth study and deeper scrutiny, and the author separates them from all other topics of Islamic jurisprudence. This type of fiqh writing generally occurs in all schools of thought, so writings that discuss certain fiqh issues are presented in special sections related to a branch or problem of fiqh according to the diversity of conditions, reasons, and motives. Fiqh treatises that briefly discuss this particular issue have appeared throughout history, and their number is unlimited, although very numerous, but those printed from these treatises compared to their manuscripts are few. Public and private manuscript treasuries are still filled with fiqh treatises such as this. Considering the importance of fiqh treatises in explaining many problems and helping someone explain sharia laws to problems that have recently occurred and require the establishment of sharak laws, it is very important to study these treatises. This research aims to introduce fiqh treatises that discuss certain issues, the reasons for writing them, as well as explaining the authors' methods in basic terms and practice using examples of cases found in schools of fiqh.

Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to examine several cases and problems of taharah (purity) that occur during disasters as something that can never be separated from human life, and will last until the doomsday. The catastrophic phenomenon gave birth to various cases related to fiqh (Islamic law) that needed answers, so that a Muslim could take a science-based stance. The limitations of this study are: first, the urgency of disaster jurisprudence assessment, and second, the application of disaster jurisprudence assessment in Indonesia in taharah cases. This research uses methods that are inductive and analytical. This study aims to explain some cases of disaster jurisprudence in the taharah chapter. This research is expected to be a reference for disaster victims, volunteers, and the community in general. This study succeeded in formulating a definition of disaster and several conclusions of Islamic law in contemporary cases related to taharah; Among them are the law of preparing a special container of earth for use in tayammum, the law of ablution using water that is side by side or mixed with the corpse, the law of people who are unable to use all media for purification, The law uses flood water—especially if it has been mixed with mud—and the law uses mosques as shelters and temporary shelters for menstruating and postpartum women.

Abstract

At the basic level in various fields of science, it generally describes the completion of the building stages of these sciences and reaching the stage of maturity. At this stage, the desired fruit of these sciences can be grasped, and this stage also provides the foundations for the scientific tools needed to achieve scientific mastery. There is no doubt that the first thing researchers want to explain is the science of faith, because it is an urgent need for Muslims. Therefore, researchers are trying to achieve this noble goal by asking for help from Allah SWT. And the first source of Muslim faith is the Koran. Specifically, the study used the book of Tafsir al-Jalālain because of its popularity among Muslims, which was written to make it easier to read the Koran. This research will clearly explore the signs for establishing the rules of Rububiyyah monotheism in the book Tafsīr al-Jalālain. There is no doubt that attention to faith is not limited to tafsir books, which have extensive and detailed discussions, but concise tafsir books compete in discussing this aspect of the rububiyyah. Through this research, it is also confirmed that paying attention to the rububiyyah aspect is an important stage for the basic foundations in general, both with the preaching community and the ijabah community. What encourages researchers to pay attention to this important aspect of the faith is serving the Islamic faith and providing enlightenment to Muslims.

Abstract

This research highlights the word al-Jabbār in the Qur'an, with the aim of defining the term al-Qur'an based on the definition of etymology and terminology, the meaning of its derivation in the context of the Qur'an, and the implications of the nature of al-Jabbar. This research uses an inductive approach in exploring the word al-Jabbār and a descriptive and deductive approach by referring to various relevant interpretations and references and exploring the meaning of al-Jabbār in the context of the verses of the Al-Qur'an. The main finding of this research is that the origin of the linguistic use of the word al-Jabbār revolves around power, greatness, and establishing something by force. The meaning of al-Jabbār in the context of the Qur'an appears in the sense of a person in power, a person who oppresses unjustly, and a person who is arrogant in following the truth.

Abstract

The researcher presents this academic thesis on the usage of the Arabic preposition “lām” (ḥarf al-lām) in the chapter of Ṭahārah (purification) from the book Bulūgh al-Marām. The aim of the research is to help readers of Bulūgh al-Marām understand the various meanings and types of the preposition lām, as well as to analyze its usage specifically within the chapter on purification. The researcher collected several books and articles relevant to the topic and identified grammatical rules involving the letter lām in the chapter of ẓuhrah (midday purification) from Bulūgh al-Marām. The methodology employed in this research is library research, in which the researcher gathers data from a range of scholarly articles, journals, and books related to the subject. In the chapter of purification in Bulūgh al-Marām, there are eleven types of the lām particle found in fifty-six hadiths. These include: six instances of lām al-ikhtiṣāṣ (denoting specification), nine of lām al-tamlīk (denoting possession), two of lām resembling tamlīk, six of lām al-tablig (denoting conveyance), four lām meaning "to" (bi-maʿnā ilā), five lām al-taʿdiyah (causative), three lām al-taʿlīl (indicating causality), two lām al-ʿāqibah (denoting consequence), seventeen lām al-amr (imperative), eighteen lām al-ibtidāʾ (indicative), and three lām used in jawāb al-qasam (response to an oath). It is hoped that this research offers a new insight and contributes benefit to the Ummah and Islam, and that it may serve as a reference for future studies.

Abstract

This article, entitled “The Interpreting Method,” aims to highlight the role of oral interpreting as a pedagogical approach in teaching Arabic as a foreign language within Islamic educational institutions, rather than viewing it merely as a tool for transferring messages between two languages. The study departs from the observation that Arabic curricula are still largely grammar and text oriented, with insufficient attention given to oral communicative skills, particularly interpreting. It seeks to identify the main principles of the interpreting method (fidelity of meaning, speed with accuracy, and contextual–communicative orientation), to outline its key techniques (simultaneous, consecutive, whispered interpreting, and keyword-based interpreting), to analyse the concept of equivalence in its semantic, functional, cultural, and pragmatic dimensions, and to show how these elements can be mobilized to develop learners’ communicative competence. A qualitative descriptive design was adopted, combining classroom observations in selected Islamic institutions, a systematic review of relevant literature, and semi-structured interviews with teachers of Arabic as a foreign language, followed by thematic analysis of the data. The findings indicate that structured training in interpreting enhances listening and speaking skills, rapid cognitive processing, and intercultural sensitivity, and functions as a bridge between receptive and productive abilities while supporting task-based learning in the classroom. The study contributes by conceptualizing interpreting as an integrated teaching method in Arabic curricula at Islamic institutions and by proposing practical avenues for its inclusion in course design and teacher-training programmes.
