Abstract

As the times progress, technology advances so that a media or hardware device is created to communicate and search for news information such as computers, mobile phones or smartphones, and others. Then he also made a software to make it easier for us to find information and communicate. One form of software is an application. There are several kinds of applications that provide various services and features, such as game applications (games), social media applications, and other application services. But in addition to the many applications there are still many that are lacking in terms of interface, so many users find it difficult to use the application. One of them is the Sukun application. This application is used by hundreds of congregations at the Indonesian Bible Mission Fellowship Church (GPMII). But because this application is still in the development stage so there are still many shortcomings in displaying the user interface, therefore in this study the authors apply the User Centered Design (UCD) method to this application to display an increasingly better interface.

Abstract

IT governance is used to monitor and control decisions regarding current IT performance, to improve IT performance in the future. To improve PT. ASAHIMAS FLAT GLASS TBK Jakarta in improving its IT governance using COBIT 5.0, currently the domain used is MEA (Monitor, Evaluate, and Assess), which consists of MEA01 ((Monitoring, Evaluate and Assess Performance and Confirmance ), MEA02 (Monitor, Evaluate and Asses Compliance with External Requirements), and MEA03 (Monitor, Evaluate and Assess Compliance with External Requirements). After conducting research using COBIT 5.0, the results were obtained in the form of GAP, GAP was 1.32 in ME01, GAP was 1.3 in ME02, and a GAP of 1.3 in ME03. With this GAP, agencies need to make improvements to several processes, especially in the MEA domain. This research was created with the aim of improving governance at PT. ASAHIMAS FLAT GLASS TBK Jakarta.

Abstract

Promoting student engagement is a primary goal in education, and educators have identified strategies to enhance student involvement. Among these strategies, providing access to scores has emerged as a vital component. Scores, as indicators of academic performance, hold a significant influence on student participation. When students work diligently to achieve good grades or scores, they not only experience a sense of accomplishment, but the scores also fuel their enthusiasm and commitment towards their studies. Providing students with access to their scores is significant for several reasons. It fosters a positive classroom environment and positively impacts student performance. Sharing scores on Microsoft Excel in the educational system offers convenience in organizing and sharing student scores, but may lead to negative consequences, including unhealthy competition and privacy concerns. The development of web applications to provide access to students’ scores ensures improved data security and privacy through authentication measures, while also encouraging self-assessment, motivation, accountability, and communication.

Abstract

Tri Jaya Mart has implemented a best employee selection system to motivate its employees to have a better career path. However, the selection of employees currently only looks at one employee with the highest attendance rate every month and if there is the same then it is chosen subjectively. Selection in this way, researchers feel less effective because it only uses one criterion by not paying attention to other supporting criteria and often more than one best employee candidate is obtained. As well as conflicts between employees due to injustice during promotion. The purpose of this research is to find out the best employee selection process that is currently running where currently out of five employees who work at Tri Jaya Mart, in the process of selecting the best employee, implementing the profile matching method in making a decision so as to provide alternative problem solving in choosing the best employee to be promoted to store manager. In this study using three criteria, namely aspects of work attitude, personality aspects and intelligence aspects. From several steps that have been applied using the profile matching method, the results obtained are the right decision and as expected for stakeholders in choosing the best employee in the order of employee two, employee four, employee one, employee three and employee five.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an online sales system (e-commerce) for Citra Parfum store in Tambun Selatan, Bekasi Regency. The store faces challenges in achieving sales targets and low customer numbers due to limited promotion through conventional channels and its hidden location within a residential area. The research utilizes the method of information system development, utilizing Visual Studio Code as a medium for creating the e-commerce website. The developed system includes the display of perfume products along with relevant information, a shopping cart, the checkout process, and online payment. This study proposes the implementation of a web-based e-commerce for Citra Parfum store. With the online sales system, it is expected that the number of sales transactions will increase, the marketing reach will expand, and buyers will be able to transact more easily. The research results are also expected to provide practical benefits to the management of Citra Parfum in improving customer satisfaction through the implementation of the online sales system.

Abstract

This study focuses on analyzing the feasibility of pension loan applicants for state civil servants at PT. BPR DP TASPEN, with a focus on the use of the Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) as an alternative analysis method. Previously, PT. BPR DP TASPEN uses a subjective evaluation method to assess the feasibility of loan applicants, which leads to potential risks and errors in the analysis. In this study, the authors recommend the use of TOPSIS as a support decision-making system to standardize the analytical process. TOPSIS was chosen for its efficiency in reducing the calculation time and ease of implementation. This method uses criteria and alternatives to calculate, produces the best alternative based on a weighted bobot, and provides the final decision. The results of the study indicate that TOPSIS provides a good solution for determining the feasibility of pension loan applicants. By considering criteria such as age, pension, debt, bank loan, health history, and income, only seven out of 40 loan applicants met the best criteria, which were close to the ideal positive solution. The selected applicants were recommended for approval as pension loans by the company, reducing the potential risks of credit and improving the accuracy of the selection of loan criteria.

Abstract

Kumon is a tutoring place for children in learning math and English. With a method developed by the founder of Kumon with the aim of making it easier for children to understand subjects. My Kumon is an application that can make it easier for students to carry out English teaching and learning activities. The purpose of this research is to measure the satisfaction of using the My Kumon application used at Kumon Radin Inten. Using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) methods. The steps taken include observation, data collection, distribution of questionnaires, data calculation and analysis of the results. The results obtained that are significant to user satisfaction are only the variable perceived ease of use. While the variables content, accuracy, format, ease of use, perceived usefulness and timeliness are not significant to user satisfaction.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the education landscape around the world, resulting in the cessation of in-person teaching and learning activities and encouraging the adoption of online learning systems. Many Indonesians express their opinions and thoughts about online courses through the social media Twitter. Therefore, this study aims to analyze people's sentiment towards online lectures on Twitter using Naïve Bayes and Support Vector Machine (SVM) methods. Data for sentiment analysis is taken from Twitter using the keywords "#college", "#daring", and "#kuliahdaring". This study limits data collection to the range of 2021-2022. A total of 1,260 Tweets were analyzed, with 633 Tweets having positive sentiments and 627 Tweets having negative sentiments. This study uses Naïve Bayes and Support Vector Machine algorithms to classify positive and negative sentiments in Tweets. The results showed that Naïve Bayes algorithm achieved the highest accuracy of 72%, while Support Vector Machine achieved 66% accuracy.

Abstract

The power safety system is a series of monitoring and control technologies in the form of features designed to anticipate and increase power safety for drivers and maintain the stability of the vehicle's electrical system while driving. Several power security systems are generally found in most vehicles. Power security systems are a feature in maintaining the vehicle's electrical condition in addition to security devices for a machine against criminal acts such as theft on vehicles which are increasingly common nowadays so it is hoped that it will be able to minimize the shortage of power system requirements on the machine with control and monitoring carried out using an Android-based mobile application. For this reason, this research will create a power monitoring application and security system for vehicle engines in anticipation of additional power consumption when installing engine security against criminal acts through application-based control. The output produced in this research is an Android mobile application as well as a security system device along with power consumption calculations.

Abstract

According to the World Population Review, in 2021 Indonesia is ranked 54th out of 78 countries included in the ranking of world education levels. This is what makes the author want to create a learning system independently. Since Covid-19, internet usage has continued to increase. Based on the Badan Pusat Statistika (BPS) as much as 78.18% in Indonesia increased after the Covid-19 pandemic. In this research a website-based learning social media system will be designed. By using the concept of social media, it is expected to increase the attractiveness of students to study at home. Students can use the platform like using social media in general. There are several features such as likes, comments, discussion forums between students and teachers. This website also functions as a forum for teachers to interact with students online. The research method used is a qualitative research method with data collection techniques through literature study, observation and interviews. From these results it can be concluded that this social learning website can be used as an alternative learning at home and make a solution for website-based school learning platforms.
