Abstract

Abstrak. Ergonomi bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aspek kesehatan dan kenyamanan kerja. Keluhan otot rangka dan stres akibat pekerjaan merupakan dua masalah yang saat ini banyak ditemui di dalam perusahaan yang diakibatkan oleh lemahnya iklim ergonomi di perusahaan. Referensi terkait iklim ergonomi masih terbatas. Salah satu paper terbaru mengukur iklim ergonomic terbatas hanya atas komitmen manajemen, keterlibatan pekerja, analisis bahaya pekerjaan, dan pelatihan dan pengetahuan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan model pengukuran iklim ergonomi untuk digunakan di suatu perusahaan sebagai umpan balik perbaikan dalam meminimasi keluhan otot rangka dan stress kerja. Pengembangan model melibatkan sebanyak 265 responden karyawan perusahaan manufaktur pesawat. Hasil penelitian ini merekomendasikan delapan dimensi iklim ergonomi, yaitu komitmen dan keterlibatan manajemen, manajemen pengetahuan dan pelatihan, keterlibatan pekerja, sistem komunikasi dan identifikasi bahaya, sistem pelaporan bahaya dan tindak lanjut, kebijakan dan prosedur, manajemen sumber daya, dan manajemen perencanan dan prioritas. Instrumen yang telah dihasilkan kemudian diujicoba dengan melibatkan 120 responden karyawan perusahaan kontraktor pertambangan. Hasil ujicoba menunjukkan bahwa iklim ergonomi berkorelasi dengan iklim keselamatan kerja dan memiliki hubungan negatif terhadap keluhan otot rangka dan stres akibat pekerjaan.Kata kunci: iklim ergonomi, manajemen keselamatan kerja, keluhan otot rangka, stresAbstract. Ergonomics is aimed to improved health and comfort at work. Musculoskeletal complaints and work-related stress are two problems that are commonly found in companies due to lack of ergonomics climate. Little references are available on the concept of ergonomics climate. A new published paper measured ergonomics climate limted to management commitment, employee engagement, occupational hazards analysis, and training and knowledge. The purpose of this study was to develop an ergonomic climate measurement model that can be praticaly used in a company to provide feedback for improvement in minimizing musculoskeletal complaints and work stress. During the model development, a total of 265 respondents were recruited from employees of a aircraft manufacturing company. Results of this study recommended eight dimensions of ergonomics climate, namely management commitment and involvement, training and knowledge management, employee involvement, communication system and hazard identification, hazard reporting system and follow-up, policy and procedure, resources management, and planning and priority management. The instrument resulted was tested to a mining contractor company by involving 120 employees as the respondents. The result showed that the ergonomics climate was significantly correlated with safety climate and had a negative relationship to musculoskeletal complaints and work-related stress.Keywords: ergonomics climate, safety management, musculoskeletal complaints, stress

Abstract

Kajian manajemen sangat lekat dengan penggunaan istilah integritas, terutama dalam konteks perilaku organisasi dan kepemimpinan. Meski demikian, banyak konseptualisasi istilah tersebut yang multitafsir dan bahkan rancu sebagai akibat penitikberatan pada perilaku atau karakter tertentu, termasuk kejujuran. Pada kenyataannya hal-hal tersebut berbeda dan tak dapat disamakan. Berbicara tentang integritas berarti berbicara tentang konsistensi antara dua hal, yaitu pikiran dan tindakan, dalam bentuk pengambilan keputusan. Pengambilan keputusan etis melibatkan proses penalaran etis yang di dalamnya mengolaborasi kesadaran moral dan kemampuan moral kognitif seseorang yang pada akhirnya diwujudkan di dalam proses tindakan sebagai bentuk implementasi keputusan yang diambil. Kesulitan analisa integritas dengan hanya menekankan perilaku etis adalah karena meski tindakan etis yang dilakukan sama, tindakan etis itu dapat dilandasi oleh motif-motif yang berbeda. Hal ini terkait dengan proses pengambilan keputusan etis yang di dalamnya kemampuan moral kognitif berperan. Menggunakan pendekatan teori perkembangan moral kognitif, integritas harus dimaknai sebagai loyalitas kepada prinsip dan nilai moral universal, dan bukan kepada prinsip dan nilai moral yang dipegang pada taraf individu, organisasi, ataupun masyarakat.Kata kunci: integritas, konsistensi moral, motivasi etis, perilaku etis, perilaku organisasi

Abstract

Abstrak. Di banyak negara, sistem e-goverment telah dibangun untuk mendukung pemerintah dalam memberikan layanannya kepada masyarakat dan industri. Meskipun sistem yang dikembangkan dengan biaya yang besar tersebut telah berhasil dijalankan, tingkat penerimaan pengguna terhadap sistem dan tingkat kualitas layanan sistem yang dihasilkan sering kali belum maksimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan model evaluasi sistem layanan e-government. Model evaluasi e-government dikembangkan dengan menggabungkan aspek layanan pemerintah (layanan publik) serta aspek kualitas pelayanan sistem berbasis elektronik.  Model tersebut di uji dengan pendekatan empiris. Kuesioner disebarkan secara online berbasis web dan 88 respon yang dinyatakan valid digunakan sebagai dasar analisis model Analisis validitas dan reliabilitas model pengukuran dilakukan dengan metode partial least square (PLS). Analisis hasil evaluasi dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan metode importance-performance analysis (IPA). Model yang dikembangkan digunakan untuk mengevaluasi sistem layanan e-government Inatrade yang dikembangkan Departemen Perdagangan Republik Indonesia. Hasil uji coba model dan analisis hasil evaluasi user dengan metode IPA menunjukkan bahwa information completeness, fulfillment, responsiveness dan contact merupakan dimensi yang perlu mendapatkan prioritas perbaikan pada sistem Inatrade.Kata kunci: Evaluasi layanan e-government, dimensi kualitas, layanan publik berbasis elektronik, service performance, importance-performance analysis, partial least square.Abstract. In many countries, e-government system has been built to support the government in providing services to the community and industry. Although the system had been developed and has been successfully executed, the level of user acceptance and the quality level of service is often not satisfactory. The aim of this study is to develop a model for of e-government system evaluation. E-government evaluation model was developed by combining aspects of government services (public services) as well as aspects of service quality of electronic-based systems. The model was tested using  empirical data. Questionnaires filled online using a web-based application, 108 samples were collected and 88 samples were declared valid to be used for measurement model analysis and e-government system evaluation. Analysis of reliability and validity of the measurement model was conducted using partial least square (PLS) technique. Analysis of the e-government system evaluation results was carried out by utilizing importance-performance analysis (IPA) method. The model developed is used to evaluate an e-government system developed by the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia, called Inatrade. The results of Inatrade system evaluation using IPA method show that information completeness, fulfillment, responsiveness and contact are the dimensions that need to be given priority in the improvement process of Inatrade system.Keywords: e-government system evaluation, quality dimensions, electronic-based public services, service performance, importance-performance analysis, partial least square.

Abstract

Positive psychology (Psy –Cap= Psychology Capital), is the study on the strength and the excess of human mental factors that enables the growth of positive behaviors in the daily life as well as the work environment as a mean to reach welfare (well being). Psy-Cap approach is different from the Traditional Psychology approach with focuses on mental illness. Psy-Cap which has more preventive approaches has altered the orientation of the applications of modern psychology concepts to the environment and organizational field. This kind study is often refered as Positive Organizational Behavior (POB). This paper describes the research on the influence of Psy-Cap on the higher education world. In specific, the influence of the Psy-Cap and Learning Environment interaction to the relation between the National Adminission Test (SPMB) score and the Psycho-Test Score (IQ and EQ) toward the SBM-ITB students’ achievement index (GPA). The objects of this research are the SBM-ITB students (class of 2004). The data collecting method are through the opened and the closed questionnaires. The number of respondent is 110, however only 87 are valid. For data-processing, the statistical method ( reliabilities and validity test) and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) were used.  The research found that: (1) The psycho test score (IQ and EQ) does not significantly influence the GPA; (2) The Psy-Cap factors of the students (hope state, optimism state, resiliency state, self efficiency, and subjective well being state) significantly influence the GPA; (3) not all interaction result of psy-cap and learning environment influence the GPA. This means some learning environment factors still do not have good qualities. (4) the good qualities of the learning environment factors in SBM are: computers and information technology, individual experiences, art, music, theatres, and friendship among students; (5) the less-good qualities of the learning environment factors in SBM are: library, lectures, experiences with lecturers and sponsor staffs, campus facilities, writing experience, club and organization, scientific and quantitative experience, topic of conversation, and source of information for the materials of conversation. Keywords: Positive Psychological Capital, Hope state, Optimism state, Resiliency state, Self efficiency, Subjective Well-Being state

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi efisiensi biaya perbankan di kawasan ASEAN-5 yang mencakup Indonesia, Singapura, Malaysia, Filipina dan Thailand. Pengukuran efisiensi bank menggunakan metode Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA) terhadap 23 bank umum dalam kawasan tersebut selama periode 2005-2012. Kajian menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara efisiensi biaya dengan karakteristik masing-masing bank yaitu return on equity (ROE). Selain itu guncangan eksternal berupa krisis global yang terjadi pada tahun 2008 ditemukan berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan biaya bank. Berdasarkan metode time-varying decay, disimpulkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan efisiensi biaya selama kurun waktu periode penelitian. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa bank-bank umum di Indonesia secara kesuluruhan belum beroperasi secara efisien.Kata kunci: ASEAN-5, efisiensi biaya, perbankan, SFA, time-varying decayAbstract. This study examines determinants of cost efficiency of banking operation in ASEAN-5 region which includes Indonesia, Singapura, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand. By using stochastic frontier analysis (SFA) to 23 commercial banks in the region in the period of 2005-2012, empirical results reveal certain significant relationship of cost efficiency with individual bank characteristic (return on equity, ROE). Based on the time-varying decay method, we conclude that there is an increase in cost efficiency during the period of study. Abstract

Paper ini khusus dimuat untuk sosialisasi kepada para staf pengajar, mahasiswa, karyawan, alumni serta masyarakat pada umumnya, bahwa saat ini MBA-ITB sedang melakukan pembenahan-pembenahan untuk memenuhi moto: “ we make the best for the best students”, yang mengandung makna bahwa program bercita-cita untuk mewujudkan proses belajar mengajar terbaik (operational excellence), sehingga mampu membekali para mahasiswa yang memiliki kualifikasi terbaik, dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan manajerial-bisnis up-to date, sehingga menghasilkan para lulusan yang mampu menciptakan makna yang signifikan (high impact) pada perkembangan dan pertumbuhan bisnis nasional. Tulisan pada paper ini merupakan bagian pertama, dimana paper yang kedua rencananya akan dimuat pada Jurnal volume berikutnya. Kritik dan saran untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di MBA-ITB sangat kami harapkan. Mudah-mudahan karya kita dapat memberikan makna bagi kehidupan.

Abstract

This paper focuses on the process of rebuilding reputation and the intention level of the community to continue trust after trustees fix their e-commerce systems. This research integrates two previous research models to assess rebuilding post trust violation through system improvement that may influence the intention to continue trust. The objectives of the research are to examine the efforts of rebuilding post trust violation on the Business to Consumer (B2C) E-commerce and test the effect scale of the system improvement on the intention of the customers to continue trust. Using the data of 267 respondents that experienced trust violations, the result shows that the intention to continue trust was significantly related to the communication improvement, rebuilding trust through system improvement and confirmation by trust restoration. Meanwhile, the variables of the commitment to guarantee, product varieties and third party support were not significantly related to the rebuilding of post-violation trust in B2C electronic commerce. The paper also discusses the implications of the findings both theoretically and practicall in detail. Key Words: Trust, System, Communication, Confirmation. E-commerce

Abstract

Abstrak. Pandangan manusia telah bergeser seiring dengan meningkatnya kepedulian terhadap lingkungan, sehingga menimbulkan tuntutan bagi pelaku bisnis untuk memberikan solusi dalam menghadapi berbagai permasalahan lingkungan melalui pengembangan green product. Eco-label sebagai jaminan mutu green product merupakan isu di dunia bisnis dan perdagangan global saat ini.  Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menerapkan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) untuk mengetahui pengaruh eco-label terhadap kesadaran konsumen untuk membeli green product. SEM adalah teknik analisis multivariat yang digunakan untuk membangun hubungan antara variabel terukur dan konstruk latennya. Variabel-variabel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eco-label awareness, attitude towards the environment, belief in environment-friendly buying, eco-label knowledge, eco-label availability, attention towards eco-label, dan purchase intention. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel belief in environment-friendly buying, eco-label knowledge, dan attention towards eco-label memiliki pengaruh langsung terhadap purchase intention, sementara variabel eco-label awareness dan eco-label availability hanya menunjukkan pengaruh tidak langsung terhadap purchase intention.Kata kunci: Eco-Label, Green Product, Konsumen, Purchase Intention, Structural Equation ModelingAbstract. The society’s viewpoint has shifted along with the increasing concern for the environment, causing the rise of demand for the businessman to provide a concrete solution to deal with the current environmental problems through the development of green products. Eco-label, as a quality assurance of green products, has been a global trade-related issue for years. This research aims to determine the effect of eco-labels on consumers’ awareness to purchase green products by using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). SEM is a multivariate technique incorporating a network of relationship between measured variables and latent construct. The variables used in this research consist of eco-label awareness, attitude towards the environment, belief in buying environment-friendly, eco-label knowledge, eco-label availability, attention towards eco-label, and purchase intention. By using Structural Equation Modeling, some of key findings from the data analysis are highlighted: belief in environment-friendly buying, eco-label knowledge, and attention towards eco-label show a direct influence on purchase intention, while eco-label awareness and eco-label availability only show the indirect effect on purchase intention.Keywords: Eco-Label, Green Product, Consumer, Ppurchase Intention, Structural Equation Modeling

Abstract

Abstrak. Produk pangan industri rumah tangga (P-IRT) kalah bersaing di rak pajang karena kemasannya kurang eye-catching. Beberapa faktor di antaranya warnanya kurang mencolok serta ilustrasi/ foto kurang menarik. Penelitian yang akan dilakukan ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kombinasi warna dan ilustrasi/ foto pada Primary Display Panel (PDP) kemasan yang menarik perhatian konsumen. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Kombinasi faktor warna dan gambar (ilustrasi/ foto) akan diuji dengan metode Eye-tracking dan kuesioner yang diolah menggunakan metode ANOVA. Penelitian terdiri dari tiga tahap: pertama pengumpulan data I, kedua pengolahan data dan analisis I; dan tahap terakhir uji kesamaan dan penarikan kesimpulan. Studi ini mengungkap bahwa preferensi yang didapat dari kuesioner berbeda hasilnya dengan pengamatan eye tracking. Dengan kata lain, tidak selalu apa yang disukai konsumen sama dengan apa yang diamati konsumen. Penelitian ini diharap dapat membantu produsen pangan industri rumah tangga dalam mempertimbangkan desain kemasan agar lebih menarik perhatian dan menumbuhkan minat pembeli dengan melakukan eksperimen eye tracking.Kata kunci: Eye-tracking, ilustrasi, kemasan, kuesioner, PDP, warnaAbstract. Home industry food products are unable to compete on display shelves because the packaging is less eye-catching. Some factors include the color is not flashy and the illustration/ photo is less attractive. The research that will be conducted aims to identify color combinations and illustrations/ photos in the Primary Display Panel (PDP) packaging that attracts consumers' attention. This study uses a quantitative approach. The combination of color factors and images (illustrations / photos) will be tested with the Eye-tracking method and a questionnaire processed using the ANOVA method. The study consisted of three stages: first data collection I, both data processing and analysis I; and the final stage of equality testing and conclusion drawing. From the study, it was revealed that the preferences obtained from the questionnaire differed in results with eye tracking observations. In other words, it is not always what consumers like as what consumers observe. This research is expected to help home industry food producers in considering packaging design to attract more attention and foster buyer interest by conducting eye tracking experiments.Keywords: Colour, eye-tracking, illustration, packaging, PDP, questionnaire

Abstract

This paper examines the influence of parent brands' commitment on consumers' attitude toward cobranding. Co-branding refers to the combination of two brand names to launch a single and unique product for a short to long term cooperation. Two experiments were conducted to test the hypotheses. The 82 subjects were exposed to two sessions of experiment; evaluations on each brand with no cobranding, evaluations on co-branding. Consumers' attitude was derived through obtaining consumers' perception on brand personality and favorability. The findings showed that parent brands with high commitment received more positive attitude compared to parent brands with low commitment.Keywords: co-branding, level of commitment, brand personality
