Abstract

Abstract - Based on research conducted by Nielsen to Youtube in 2013, visitors to YouTube now reached more than 1 billion visitors per month worldwide. Youtube is now ranked as the fourth most visited site in the world in Indonesia. The high Youtube’s visitor traffic in Indonesia became a magnet for companies to advertise on the site Youtube. There’s a lot of company that invest their money to advertise their brand using Youtube as the media. The most familiar kind of advertising in Youtube is pre-roll ads which has two kinds, skippable and non skippable pre roll ads. Even though a lot of people got annoyed with this form of ads, YouTube still keep it exists. It means that, this form of advertisement still gave an impact to the brand or product. This problem will be analyzed by measuring and comparing the effectiveness between skippable and non skippable pre roll ads on Youtube using AIDMA and also by collecting behavioural substance of netizen in Bandung. Each of the phases will be measured and will be compared to find which form is more effective. Research is conducted using qualitative and quantitative research. For qualitative, researcher conduct interview to figure the substance behavior pattern of netizen in Bandung. For quantitative research, questionnaire is distributed to 200 respondents with a pre test conducted to 30 respondents. Questionnaire is distributed to netizen in Bandung who have ever access YouTube and ever found pre roll ads while accessing YouTube. There are two types of data analysis, which is descriptive and comparative analysis. All of analysis is processed using SPSS. Indicators used in the questionnaire is proven valid and reliable. Finally, the effectiveness of both pre roll ads can be analyzed by every phase of AIDMA. Over all, skippable pre roll ads is more effective than non skippable pre roll ads. One of the reason is because skippable pre roll ads involve viewers to watch the ads even though only for the first five seconds but it could make viewers easier to recognize and remember the brand that appear on pre roll ads. From the result we also know that people tend to watch the ads while waiting to skip on the skippable pre roll ads, and people tend to ignore the ads when they found non skippable pre roll ads.  Keywords : Pre Roll Advertising, YouTube, online advertising, AIDMA, skippable and non skippable ads.

In this research will try to help Shafco in making disaster management in the descriptive case study format by using the formula environmental risk assessment. Risk analysis results along with the results of observational data and interview, will be used as a benchmark manufacture of disaster management in Shafira. With the same formula will be two approaches to get the value of the risk that in a ratio approach between the receptor and the nominal approach in rupiah. The first is looking for the probability of occurrence of hazards, distinguished for threats from nature that is processed from the data BNPB and to the threat of technological processing of questionnaire data using simple probability calculations. To get the value of the consequences will be different on each approach. Consequences in the comparative approach depend on value for each receptor and to approach the nominal, the consequences of the unit will be expressed in rupiah obtained from the estimated average salary of employees per day multiplied by the number of days of recovery to the threat from human activities and to threats from nature will be used for estimated losses on assets experienced in case of disaster. The current disasters that occurred at Shafira are divided into two categories: natural hazard, in particular whirlwinds (Tornado); and technological including nature-to-technological hazard which flood and blackout (light off) and human-to-technological hazards such mistaken input data and mistaken delete data. The results of calculations using the ratio approach shows that the greatest risk is from the activity of employee negligence, then tornadoes, floods and lastly due to a light off. Meanwhile, when measured using a nominal approach, the risks of large losses are due to floods, tornadoes, off the lights and the last is due to the activity of employee negligence. Keyword: Disaster Management, Enterprise Resource Planning, Hazard, Probability, Environmental Risk assessment

Abstract

Abstract - Companies view technology as a way to enhance service exchanges and has posited that the increasing role of technology in such encounters offers benefits to both customers and firms (e.g, Bitner, Brown, and Meuter 2000; Salomann et al. 2007). GS is one of the businesses that using technology in delivering their restaurant service to gain customer satisfaction. In this case, GS infused Self-Service Technology (SST) that largely replaced their personal service interaction with the customer. SST is a technology infusion, where customers deliver service themselves using some form of technological interface. Technology has replaced the human touch in the process of ordering food, delivering the ordered meal, and billing statement, and in the time customer needs waiter assistance they are able to call the waiter by clicking on the self-service technology device, which also replaced the menu book. Even though companies consider the technologies are able to enhance the service exchange, recent research argued that the technology implementation does not always lead to higher customer satisfaction scores. Therefore, it is important to determine the customer satisfaction of GS services, which remain unidentified. This study aims to explore the influence of SST and Personal Service toward Overall Satisfaction in GS. Quantitative research was conducted in this study by distributing online questionnaires to 100 respondents in Jakarta Selatan that at least had been once to GS, which taken place at Plaza Senayan, Jakarta Selatan. Indicators used in the questionnaire had been proven as valid and reliable using the Pearson correlation and Cronbach Alpha value. Descriptive Analysis and Multiple Linear Regressions (MLR) were conducted to analyze data collected. The research provided empirical evidence of relative impact of SST on overall consumer satisfaction. Findings show that SST positively influence overall satisfaction at GS, however personal service does not have significant influence toward the overall satisfaction, therefore SST considered as the only variable contributive to 21% of the overall satisfaction. This study result shows that Self-Service Technology has enhance service convenience and deliver efficient service process to the customer. The absence of personal service interaction has no direct effect to the overall satisfaction.

The result of this survey indicated that the proposed factors adopted from Newman and Sheth's model (1985) as the independent variables did not provide a significant impact on first voter’s intention in Bandung for 2019 Indonesian people's representative council election. The object of first voters has a very distinctive characteristics compared with the general voters in the previous research that formed the hypotheses of this study because of the difference in knowledge and information about election, so the research is expected to open new horizons for further research to examine other factors that can influence first voters.
