Abstract

Abstract. In current times, running sport take the interest of the people of Indonesia, the development of this running sport led to the emergance of running communities. Beginning with the emergence of Indorunners running community in Jakarta in 2009, to develop to other area. One of the running community in the city of Bandung is BR20. BR20 was formed in 2012 in Bandung city, West Java. This community is used as a gathering place, to share stories, to find friends to run, or to show their social status. The emergence of this running community attracts companies, especially those relating to running sports, to promote their products by sponsoring running communities. Pocari Sweat as one of the packaging isotonic beverage products participates to enliven the running sport in Indonesia. Pocari Sweat gave sponsorship to BR20 community. Pocari Sweat as a party that gives sponsorship certainly has a certain hope for the running community and how the relationship with the community run BR20 can be formed. The purpose of this study is to explain the expectations of Pocari Sweat in sponsoring the running community, Acknowledge actual feedback from the running community against Pocari Sweat, and acknowledge the relation between Pocari Sweat and BR20 running community. The author will use the method of qualitative analysis, by conducting interviews and field observations. The results of this thesis show that Pocari Sweat can achieve the desired expectations, the community provides space for Pocari Sweat, and good relationship with the community run with two-way communication. Keywords: community, running community, sponsorship, sponsors relationship, sponsorship expectation

Abstract

 Abstract. Animation industry is one of the fastest growing industries in the world with a market worth 12.01 billion dollars in 2017. Indonesia which has many cultures and large population has potential to develop animation industry. The major problem to develop the animation industry is the lacking information within actors and the rigid system in the network. This causes the innovation and value cannot be maximized in this industry. This research conducted to analyze the network characteristic, business model, business model innovation, and value outcome in animation industry network by using conceptual model of four dimension which are; network, business model, business model innovation, and value. This research is done by qualitative method by applying interview, observation, and secondary data. Three types of network are used as a case study, which are; vertical value net, horizontal value net, and multidimensional value net with case study of Trans TV (vertical value net), Cimahi Creative Association (horizontal value net), and Elex Media (multidimensional value net). The data is being compared with each network using cross-case analysis method using table. Trans TV and Elex Media using agreement control in the network, that causes business model innovation determined mostly by focal firm. While in Cimahi Creative Association using less control in the network that causes business model innovation determined fairly between focal actors and member. Abstract

Abstract.The objective of this research was to find out: (1) the healthy level of bank in term of risk profile aspects in2011-2015, (2) the healthy level of bank in term of good corporate governance aspects in 2011 -2015 (3) thehealthy level of bank in term of earnings aspects in 2011-2015, (4) the healthy level of bank in term of capital aspects in 2011-2015, and (5) the healthy level of bank in term of risk profile, good corporate governance, earnings, and capital aspects in 2011-2015. The data were collected through documentation. This research undertook four RBBR factors, risk profile factor through the NPL ratio and LDR, Good Corporate Governance factor, Earning factor through ROA ratio and NIM, and Capital factor through CAR. The result of this research showed that in the periods of 2011-2053, all of the researched banks got predicate as health enough. Risk Profile factor showed bank’s NPL were under 5% and most of bank’s LDR got predicate as health enough. Good Corporate Governance factor showed banks got predicate very good. Earning factor showed bank’s ROA were over 1,5% and banks’ NIM were over 3%. Capital factor showed banks’ CAR were over 12% so that it could fill 8% the minimum of capital availability.Keywords: The Healthy Level of Bank, RGEC Method

Abstract

Abstract. Employer branding is the company image as a ‘great place to work’ in the mind of current potential employee and current employee. Employer branding is strategy to promote a company by creating positive image in order to communicate with job applicants, new employees, and existing employees. Many start-up companies faced the same problem that would be the main caused for why the start-up company could not sustain or growth as well. The problem is the employee did not loyal to the company, high turn-over, the employee used the start-up company to be the ‘miles-stone’ and it is hard to find or attract the potential employee to applied and join them. The purpose of this research is to identify the most important attribute of employer branding looked by the potential employee and current employee, also suggest the solution to improve the way to attract the potential employee and maintain the current employee for start-up company. Online questionnaire with purposive sampling were conducted for data collection. In addition, the researcher used the semi-structured interview with current employees to know deeper about the factor that influenced employer branding.  This research find that Sincerity is the most important attribute for potential employee and good salary is the most important attribute for current employee. Abstract. Apparel industry is a potential industry in Indonesia because it can be seen by its stagnant growth revenue towards improvement of gross domestic product Indonesia on the last 5 years. As one of the apparel company which contribute to those growth, Must Evan’s must have a good management team in order to maintain the sustainability of company’s performance. But from the interview result toward an employee in Must Evan’s, Preliminary research done at head quarter of Must Evan’s showed that it seems like there is an unbalance job responsibility between one employee and the other employee. Moreover, preliminary research done to several employees in Must Evan’s showed that majority of the employees are not satisfy with the division of work in Must Evan’s. Most of them said that it happened because they often doing work that is not accordance with the division. Therefore, this research aims to improve satisfaction of employee at Must Evan’s by help them understand the duties that need to be done. This can be done by conducting job analysis for this company, since there is no job list at all could become their guideline in doing a duties. This research using some interview result and some secondary data such as organization structure in order to conduct job description and job specification clearly. Researcher using Spencer and Spencer dictionary as a tool for determine the competencies needed by company to be a part of its job specification. The result of job analysis was compared to the current job that is done in Must Evan’s and it turns out that there are some positions that having overlap duties and some job division gave unfair job toward one workers and the other workers. However, with the new job analysis, it could reduce employee’s ignorance about the duties to be done. With this result of job analysis research, the result is may not be able to be used by other similar apparel company. However, the method still could be used in order to design a clear job list for employees. Keywords: Job Analysis; Human Resource Management

Abstract. Background: Appropriate and good services are one of tools or strategy to guarantee customer satisfaction. As well-known medicine provider in Bandung, Regular Pharmacy want to increase their service quality using strategy to reduce the customer waiting time in the process of pharmacy services. To know the waiting time, the data about service time and the number of available staff are seriously needed. The number of staff has high impact to waiting time because as long as the number of staff increase the capacity increase respectively. The problem occurred here is, Regular Pharmacy have no clear standard about when staff schedule started and end also has no real reason for staff schedule decision. Methods: To answer the condition, this research use time study to record service time on the Regular Pharmacy. Then, recorded time will be analyzed using control chart, in order to know whether the process is in control or not. This activity uses Minitab software. Then, next process represents the business process in Regular Pharmacy using iGrafx software. After all, data collected including the number of demand, the next process is run the process business simulation using the IGrafx software. Results:  The output of this research is cycle time of pharmacy services and human resources allocation in the Regular Pharmacy. Therefofrom the simulation the information about when staff has to be added or reduced regarding the number of dem re, and. Abstract. This research aim to know the factors that influence performance of employee at Cicendo district office Bandung city. The reseacrh has the 3 variable independent there are competences, work culture, & compensation and also 1 variable dependent which is performance. To know  how  influence given by independent variable to dependent variable, this research using multiple linear regression. Multiple linear regression is a model to see that whether there relationship between independent variable and dependent variable. The respondent of this research are all of employees at Cicendo district office Bandung city. The number of respondent is 25 employee. This research spread the questionnaire to all employees of  Cicendo district office Bandung city.. The results of this questionnaire collection are then processed using Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) program. Abstract

Abstract.Background: This research explores influences of digital readiness on acceptance of mobile advertising. Millennial generation is used as object for this research considering their closeness to digital technology. Digital readiness is tested if it can become the antecedent of TAM. Since the context used is mobile advertising, adoption of technology is changed to acceptance because people are more likely accepting mobile advertising rather than adopting. This research constructs new model based on readiness theory and Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) using survey that personally distributed to young Millennials who covers several regions in Java. Methods: Structural Equation Modelling (SEM),Results: Digital readiness has strong influence towards mobile advertising acceptance among Millennials. This research also compares results based on the age group of Millennials and generates different results on correlations between variables.Conclusion: Millennials in Java have readiness in terms of beliefs and abilities on accepting mobile advertising among them. Nevertheless, their behaviors on accepting mobile advertising are different between age groups. Abstract

Abstract. Tahu Saribumi is a tofu restaurant that has been established from 1971 and serves tofu as the main dish. The restaurant located approximately 3 km from the downtown of Sumedang City. Tahu Saribumi considered a senior tofu restaurant with loyal customers since its establishment. Tahu Saribumi restaurant has experienced a decrease in revenue since 2014. The purpose of this paper is to recommend a business strategy for Tahu Saribumi Sumedang in order to stabilize their restaurant financial situation. This paper aim to formulate business strategy using strategic management approach. To do so, this paper try to identify the internal and external environment conditions of the restaurant. Qualitative and quantitative method are implemented using primary and secondary data. Primary data was gained by conducting in-depth interview with restaurant owner, staff, and customers. Secondary data was gained from articles, reports, and websites. The analysis is conducted using SFAS analysis. Result of analysis shows that while Tahu Saribumi is faced with various external opportunity, the business itself still have several major weaknesses that needs to be improved. The recommended suggestion is to create a plan for Tahu Saribumi, consists of short term which is developing new new product development and marketing strategy. Abstract

Abstract. The Government has issued Undang-Undang No. 33 Tahun 2014 tentang Jaminan Produk Halal (UU JPH). The essence of the Act is article 4, The Government guarantee that all products circulated and traded in the territory of Indonesia must be "Halal" certified. The issuance of this law is very logical, considering that the majority of Indonesians are Muslim. In Islamic teachings, there are terms "Halal" and "Toyyib" that are one unity. Thus, every things consumed by Muslims should be "Halal" and "Toyyib". Beginning with this, the researcher tried to do research on the concept of "Halal" and "Toyyib" is associated with the theory of Operational Management. In the beginning, the researcher defined “Halalan-Toyyiban” Standards in poultry slaughtering. This standards are obtained from a regulation from MUI coupled by 2 regulations from Farming Department of Bandung City. Then, the researcher identified the real condition about chicken slaughtering process and layout in 10 points from 5 traditional markets in Bandung City. The researcher then compared these ideal and real conditions. The researcher found that there gaps between these conditions. Then the researcher analyzed these gaps. The researcher found that the main problem is layout. Based on the problems found above, the researcher proposed a layout as a solution. This layout is developed from "Halalan-Toyyiban" standards before. This layout consist sequence of process. Underneath there is a flow chart as the workers’ instruction.
