The Indonesia Journal of Business Administration(IJBA) is a business journal that bridges the gap between business research and practice, evaluating and reporting on new research to help readers identify and understand significant trends in their fields. The IJBA seeks to publish papers relating to business, broadly defined. It publishes articles that address both theoretical and practical issues in the broad areas of Business Strategy and Marketing, People and Knowledge Management, Entrepreneurship and Technology Management, Decision Making and Strategic Negotiation, Operation and Performance Management, and Business Risk and Finance.Contributing academicians and researchers are encouraged to address a variety of concerns relating to all areas of business. We also encourage students to use an interdisciplinary approach to analyzing a topic, which often yields interesting and novel papers. The published articles provide valuable insight into matters of broad intellectual and practical concern to academicians and business professionals. The Journalis published three times a year: in April, July and October. The journal is mainly an outlet of MBA ITB students to publish their final project works, although it also accepts articles written by students at masters level from other institutions. A published paper is an honor that will be unambiguously beneficial for professional and academic careers, especially for those who want to attend graduate/professional schools. This means that papers written in relations to Accounting, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Management, Operations Management, Information Systems, Business Law, Corporate Ethics, and Public Policy all qualify for submission. Abstract

Abstract -PT. XYZ is expected by Government of Indonesia (GOI) to meet or exceed the oil production target. It’s required a strong maintenance program considering PT. XYZ is operating a brown field. There are lots of Pumping Units in X Field as very critical equipment to support production. The preventive/predictive maintenance (PM/PdM) program has been established and executed every 270 days/ Pumping Unit by 2 Business Partner. The main target from productions team is avoiding 7 Wells down every day and 170 Barrels Loss Production Opportunity (LPO). In monthly average those targets are achieved but sometimes the number of daily wells down is behind the target. There are also some gaps in executing maintenance activities such as no dedicated quality inspector, lack of supervision in the field, long duration to repair gearbox, unbalanced work load personnel, and no integrated contract execution and monitoring system. The new operations strategy is proposed to improve the performance and services of Maintenance Pumping Unit (MPU). The methodology used in this final project is study literature and team discussion. The existing resources and operations processes/capabilities are analyzed using Operations Strategy Framework Slack and Lewis (2008) to understand current conditions in MPU teams. The proposed improved operations strategy are implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM), improve work load distribution, finalize Roles & Responsibilites (R&R) within Project Business Support (PBS) and MPU Team, monitor phase control of LS Reduce PU Down Time due to Gear Box Failure, and development of Contract Cost Management System (CCMS). The benefit of implementing proposed operations strategy is potential cost saving 8,576 bbl oil or $428,800 using assumption oil price $50. The support from Wells and Facility Maintenance (WFM) leadership, capability and accountability from every PIC, monitoring process, and mitigation plan are some of the key success factors in the implementation stage to attain world class maintenance performance. Keywords: Operations strategy, maintenance pumping unit, PT. Abstract

Abstract. Indonesia occupied the 6th position (2011) as the largest mango producer in the world, where almost all provinces in Indonesia are able to produce different varieties of mango. GedongGincu as "The Queen of Mango" became one of the flagship varieties of mango after Arummanis which is West Java as producer. High demand of GedongGincu in export market is faced with declining of production, both in terms of quality and quantity. Problem analysis was done through focus group discussion (FGD) and semi-structured interviews to business stakeholders in five production centers such as the Department of Agriculture, Department of Industry and Trade, and BAPPEDA (provincial and district), Coordination Instructor Agency, farmers, exporter, supermarket, collector, trader/ retailer, processors, cooperative, input provider, and universities. Declining of production occurs due to lack of collaboration among business stakeholder which this depicted through the relationship condition that is still transactional or enhancement based on collaboration value exchange. This relationship condition caused problems such as market information, ineffective regulatory environments, inadequateinfrastructure, lack of knowledge and skills, and limited access to capital. Market competition and the increasing demand of buyers demanded economic conditions which stimulate business players to be more aggressive in winning business competition. For that, this business need collaborative network among business stakeholder which integrates stakeholders from upstream to downstream. Network Collaboration required linkages between business stakeholders such as collaborative value exchange between customers and manufacturers, collaborative business process between manufacturers with partners and suppliers and collaborative business networks among key resources and partnerships. Keywords: GedongGincu, Collaboration Value Exchange (CVE)

Abstract

Abstract.Due to products of PT Bukit Bintan Berjaya are main material for infrastructure and building development, the economic growth will directly raise the demand. This will be very good prospect and challenge for the company to increase its market shares. Therefore, the Company has to maximize its production. At the current condition, the production capacity of the company already reached its maximum capacity which is consist of one unit of rotary and grizzly machine, one unit of crusher (also known as permanent crusher), and one unit of mobile crusher. The company use fishbone diagram to know how to increase the production capacity, and then use Simple Multi-attribute Rating Technique (SMART) analysis to get comprehensive understanding of the decision problem and gain the best alternative to increase production capacity. The study and analysis found that to increase production capacity should be done by add, modify or install additional machine. This happened because the existing crusher machine is too old. With more than 15 years old, the machine frequently need repair and it is difficult to get the spare parts. In addition, the existing mobile crusher cannot produce optimally due to imbalance production output between the first cone crusher with the next cone crusher. The study and analysis also concluded that if the company has more concern in the initial cost and annual cost, the option is alternative G which is not install or modify crushing machines and will keep the production capacity as it is and no need additional initial cost. When the company has more concern in increasing production capacity, the option is alternative A which is install new permanent crushing machines. If the company chooses to increase production capacity with alternative A, it will need to: prepare the time line, prepare schedule and person in charge; prepare the machines and tools; prepare the location; prepare man power; prepare supporting production equipment; and prepare funding and cash flow. The Implementation planned to be done in 6 months. Keywords: multi attribute decision analysis, smart analysis, decision making, fishbone diagram, production shortage
