Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the determinants of sharia financial literacy on students Syiah Kuala University. The sample in this study amounted to 100 respondents. This research used stratified random sampling method and analyzed using multiple linear regression model. The results of the study show that simultaneously education, information media, the role of ulama, and the social environment have an influence on sharia financial literacy for active undergraduate students in the 2021/2022 academic year. Partially, education and information media have an effect on Islamic financial literacy. Meanwhile, the role of ulama and the social environment has no effect on sharia financial literacy. The role of scholars and the social environment must continue to be improved so that sharia financial literacy both among students and the community can be improved.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of free shipping promos, customer reviews and discounts on purchasing decisions through the shopee application. The population used is the students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Syiah Kuala University with a sample of 173 respondents determined by purposive sampling technique. The data used are primary data obtained from distributing questionnaires to respondents. This study uses multiple linear regression as the method of analysis. The results showed that either partially or simultaneously, the variables of free shipping promos, customer reviews and discounts had an effect on purchasing decisions through the shopee application for students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Syiah Kuala University. Thus, consumers do not object to making purchasing decisions because they do not have to pay more for shipping costs.

Abstract

The presence of the COVID-19 Virus, a deadly virus, shocked the majority of nations at the end of 2019. The company's performance, including its profit share, is unquestionably impacted by this condition, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector. Through liquidity and profitability ratios, the purpose of this study is to ascertain the financial performance of the company. A quantitative-descriptive method of research is used. The analysis of the data reveals that the profitability ratio, as measured by the average Return on Assets and Return on Equity from 2017 to 2021, respectively 0.5% and 1.64 percent, is below the industry average, and the liquidity ratio, as measured by the average Current Ratio from 2017 to 2021, is below the industry average. In contrast, the ratio of inventory to net working capital for 2017- 2021 has a negative result of -1,363%, which indicates that the ratio is not favorable due to the fact that current assets outnumber current liabilities. This demonstrates that the Covid-19 virus has a significant impact on the financial performance of the business. Suggestions from the author ensure that management always pays attention to the formal liquidity level set by the standards of the Ministry of BUMN

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the capital structure in increasing profitability at PT. Matahari Department Store Tbk and to find out what causes tend to decrease profitability at PT. Matahari Department Store Tbk. The approach used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. Based on the results of research conducted capital structure is still not able to increase profitability at PT. Matahari Department Store Tbk which can be seen from the fluctuating (unstable) capital structure causes profitability to tend to decrease. This was due to falling sales due to the pandemic and also increasing corporate debt. Decrease in profitability at PT. Matahari Department Store is caused by several factors including the company has not been effective in managing its working capital to generate income which can be seen from the turnover of working capital and total assets which for the past six years have not been good enough to contribute to sales and the worsening financial condition of the company which in In 2020 the company experienced a loss of Rp. 873 billion and this is one of the causes of decreased profitability at PT. Matahari Department Store Tbk.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine herding on the stock market from a halal perspective for understanding the way of thought and it could result in the right decision for investors. The decision can be obtained from herding which is seen as a factor of the stock market being more volatile and risky. This behavior is done by the investor due to feeling doubt in choosing a stock because there are no other choices to make some decisions and they assume that other investors have some information. On the other hand, herding can affect the level of risk to be faced. The problems being analyzed are; First, how the halal perspective about herding behavior. Second, what are the criteria for herding based on the halal perspective? This study was written over a month beginning in August 2018. The primary data is mainly gathered from Al-Qur’an, al Hadits, and Ushul Fiqh. To support the data, an in-depth analysis technique was also used. In addition, secondary data from journal articles, books, and other related kinds of literature were also utilized. This paper is using the descriptive method of analysis, and include in the literature research category. The findings show that herding from a halal perspective is allowed but it must be following the knowledge of stock analysis and who person they follow. It could not be followed blindly to result in a decision. This study would make Syariah economics has the potential to answer the shortcoming found in the phenomenon of the stock market.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the effect of product knowledge and religiosity on scarlett whithening's purchasing decisions with attitude as a mediating variable. The population used is scarlett whitening product users in the city of Banda Aceh with a sample of 114 respondents. The data collection equipment used in this study was a questionnaire. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Path analysis and Sobel test are used as analytical methods to determine the effect of the variables involved. Based on the results of the research analysis, it was found that product knowledge had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Religiosity has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Product knowledge has a positive and significant effect on attitudes. Religiosity has a positive and significant effect on attitudes. Attitude has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. And the results of the Sobel test on the indirect effect show that product knowledge has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions with attitude as a mediating variable. Religiosity has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions with attitude as a mediating variable.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the effect of Halal Labels and Prices on Buying Interests of Japanese Food Restaurants in Banda Aceh with Preference as a mediating variable. The population used is the people of Banda Aceh who like Japanese food and know about Sushi Restaurant with a sample of 119 respondents. The data collected in this study used a questionnaire. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Path analysis and Sobel test are used as analytical methods to determine the effect of the variables involved. The results of the study show that Halal Label, Price, and Consumer Preference have a positive and significant effect on Purchase Intention. Halal Labels and Prices have a positive and significant effect on Consumer Preferences. Sobel test results on indirect effect show that Halal Label has a positive and significant influence on Purchase Intention with Consumer Preference as a mediating variable, the role of Consumer Preference in mediating the relationship between Halal Label and Purchase Intention is partial mediation. Price has a positive and significant influence on Purchase Intention with Preference as a mediating variable, the role of Consumer Preference in mediating the relationship between Price and Purchase Intention is partially mediating

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of financial literacy and service quality on decision making using Islamic banking services mediated by religiosity. This study uses a quantitative approach with a sample of 100 respondents who are active undergraduate students at Syiah Kuala University. Data obtained by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The data analysis technique used is Path Analysis and Sobel Test. The results of the research analysis showed that financial literacy and service quality had a positive and significant effect on religiosity. Financial literacy, service quality and religiosity have a positive and significant effect on decision making. The results of the Sobel test on the indirect effect show that financial literacy does not have a positive and significant effect on decision making with religiosity as a mediating variable. Service quality has a positive and significant influence on decision making with religiosity as a mediating variable. It is hoped that every Islamic Bank institution can improve the quality of its services so that this bank becomes one of the student targets in making decisions about using Islamic Bank services.
