Abstract

There are plenty of tours in Indonesia, however not all tourist destinations are adequately run by the local government, and associated parties are less equipped to advertise travel online. As a result, many visitors avoid tourist destinations with poorly maintained information. The solution to the issues facing the tourism industry is the Geographic Information System. Geographic information systems are created using a circular approach, which can subsequently assist potential travelers who wish to visit a location by looking for tourist attractions to visit. Travelers can view the locations they wish to visit along with maps, and related parties will also benefit from foreign exchange input from tourists. Therefore, it is anticipated that this research will result in a geographic information system that aids in recommending various tourist places that are appropriate to visit.

Abstract

Motorcycle-based couriers play an essential role in urban logistics due to their flexibility and efficiency in congested environments. However, limited vehicle capacity combined with simultaneous delivery and pickup activities makes route planning a complex optimization problem. This study addresses the Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem with Pickup and Delivery (CVRPPD) for motorcycle couriers by incorporating traffic congestion and weather conditions into the travel cost model. A Tabu Search metaheuristic is proposed to optimize routing decisions while simultaneously determining the optimal number of vehicles under a dynamic load constraint. The objective function is formulated using a lexicographic approach, prioritizing the minimization of the number of vehicles followed by the minimization of total travel cost, which is influenced by distance, traffic level, and weather condition. Computational experiments were conducted on a dataset consisting of one depot and 50 customers, with a maximum vehicle capacity of 30 kg. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed approach consistently identifies an optimal solution using five motorcycles, which corresponds to the theoretical lower bound derived from total pickup demand. All customers are served exactly once without violating capacity constraints, and the maximum vehicle load reaches the allowable limit of 30 kg. The total travel cost obtained is 1316.262, indicating efficient route construction under dynamic environmental conditions. These results confirm that Tabu Search is an effective and robust approach for solving CVRPPD in motorcycle-based urban logistics, particularly when realistic operational factors such as traffic congestion and weather variability are considered.

Abstract

The distribution of disaster impact social assistance requires an objective and transparent decision-making mechanism to ensure that aid is allocated to the most eligible beneficiaries. This study aims to implement the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method in a web-based Decision Support System (DSS) to determine recipients of disaster impact social assistance among students at Universitas Budi Darma. The system evaluates five criteria: parental income (cost), number of dependents (benefit), disaster impact level (benefit), Grade Point Average (GPA) (benefit), and housing condition (benefit). Using a weighted normalization process with weight values of 0.30, 0.20, 0.20, 0.15, and 0.15 respectively, the system calculates preference scores for each student. Based on sample testing with five applicants, the highest preference value was obtained by Student A4 with a score of 0.92, followed by A2 (0.88), A5 (0.74), A1 (0.69), and A3 (0.63). The results indicate that students with lower parental income and higher disaster impact levels received higher rankings. The developed system successfully reduces subjectivity, increases transparency, and improves efficiency in the selection process. Validation through comparison with manual calculations confirms the accuracy and reliability of the implemented SAW algorithm. Therefore, the proposed DSS provides an effective and data-driven solution for fair social assistance allocation within the university environment

Abstract

Financial literacy and personal cash flow management are critical components of individual economic stability. However, the volatility of daily transaction patterns often complicates manual monitoring, leading to liquidity deficit risks. This study aims to develop a Decision Support Model for personal cash flow monitoring by comparing the effectiveness of AutoRegressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) and Holt-Winters Exponential Smoothing methods. Using the ANZ Virtual Internship transaction dataset, this research processes historical customer daily balance data through preprocessing, stationarity testing, and predictive modeling stages. Performance evaluation results demonstrate that the Holt-Winters method is more accurate in capturing customer balance trends with a Mean Absolute Error (MAE) of AUD 476.80 and a Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) of AUD 568.96, outperforming ARIMA which yielded higher error rates. Based on these results, the Holt-Winters algorithm is integrated into an Early Warning System (EWS) logic that maps balance predictions into three risk zones: Safe, Warning, and Critical. The proposed model is capable of providing future financial health status visualization as a risk mitigation instrument for banking customers
